Yeah West Ham were the better in the first half but shocking in the 2nd and the scoreline flattered us. I put Jones winning everything down the fact the West Ham defence is shite. Ive watched them live every game this season except at Birmingham and Matthew Upson plays with 10 kgs of sand in each sock. Gabbidon is a strong buggar but not top flight material (for where West Ham want to be). Ferdinand is too casual and ONeill is slack. The best centre half is Callum Davenport but he doesnt get a look-in. Id play him with Anton once he has had a boot up the ass. BTW if should have been 4-1, did you see Boa Morte's 1 on 1 fluff at the end!! Curbs is running on thin ice, he has spent a fortune but we are struggling.

If i knew a Londoner had a chance of winning Id have entered myself

Season over and he played 5 games!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7055869.stm Now he has to wait until April for a competitive game. He was mad to go to the USA for footballing reasons. But finanically he is very clever - whats he on again 300k a week or something silly?. I still think he sold out to football though. He could have went to AC Milan or back to the Premiership and I have no doubts he would then be playing for England regularly and going to the Euro's next summer. IF anf its a big If England sneak into the Euro's (which I think they will coz I can see Israel getting something off Russia) then the big question is will he leave his domestic season (April to Octo) to play for england or will he be allowed? I think he just wants 100 caps for his own record.

Can we rely on him being our 13th man!

5 out of 6 - ouch. I had a 7 fold aswell, 4 wins and 3 draws. Arsenal Won Blackburn Won Fulham Drew Leyton Orient Won Northampton Won Forest Drew Rochdale Drew I originally had Watford and Man City instead of Northampton and Rochdale but I but after watching "sing when your winning" (MUTV betting program) Lou Macari's charity bet was Rochdale and Northampton double so I went with him tip. But backed West Ham with 50 quid at 5/6 yesterday and got 91 back so was happy with that even though they left it late.

Although that was the first time ive really been over impressed with his attacking play in a game for a long time. He got forward a number of times with runs with and without the ball. His solo at the age of the box where he smiled afterwards and got the free kick was class.
-
He was fully fit, just dropped. I was listenning to radio scotland over the internet before the game and Chick Young said he had a face like thunder, then he ask Coisty about it and Ally said it was just one of those things / times where they had to leave him out but he should learn from it as Coisty had that happen to him many a time. But I seriously doubt if we would have played so well had Boyd played, he would have offered a total different game to Novo and Cousin. As said many a time - Boyd is ok for SPL matches against the Falkirks etc aslong as he is in a 2 man front line but come big games he shouldnt even make the bench - as saturday proved.

Im not 100% sure Adam meant that free kick exactly like it turned out. There was no power in it whatsoever

Yeah I thought about that. I think moving the game back 24 hours to the friday night may help. I remember a Rangers v aberdeen game being moved back to a friday night coz of the league cup final when Raith beat celtic. I went to the game and McCoist got his 300th Gers goal in a 1-0 win - it was a great atmosphere playing it on a friday night.
-
Must say I totally didnt know Provan was originallya Gers fan - I thought he was celtic through and through. There is 2 Davie Provans though is there? This is the sky tv Provan I assume.
-
Yet, we arent even allowed to take proper rangers football banners / flags into parkhead. Didnt someone from here get pulled up for simply hanging the gersnet flag?
-
Thats the sort of statement we need - totally written off as underdogs. However I disagree that we should sit back and hit them on the break, we cant give them so much possession. Id be getting stuck into them coz they wont like it one bit. Its a one off chance to have Barca at Ibrox and id have a go at them. If we lose 3-0 then nobody is going to have a go at the team - we were never expected to win anyway plus we are already on 6 pts in the so called group of death. Coming off topic but I actually wonder if Henry will regret leaving Arsenal - he went from hero and top player to - what Pires says - playing in a team who dont look for him, yet he will be looking on and seeing how good arsenal are doing.
-
And by-joe didnt we do well without him!!!
-
I cant see where anyone would have a go at Huttons attitude. He is the most improved player we have had in 10 years and easy the best RB in Britain. If he is fired up for a OF game then good on him. I can agree with the arguement of Ferguson being inconsistant but Hutton gets nothing but praise from me. I wouldnt take away any of his mouthyness (if thats a word)
-
I think those who have a go at Ferguson when he has a bad game are pointing towards him attitude at others as much as him own game. He seems to point the blame elsewhere when he isnt playing well and this is why he also gets critisied (sp). He does play very well in big games and shows what he can do but its the 4 bad games against poorer opposition where we need him to help us pick up trophies - and thats what we want at the end of the day. As for Boyd, i was delighted he didnt play on saturday and without him we showed we can score 3 goals in a big game and play amazing all over the park.
-
So nobody would take Boruc then?? But Id only take Brown and maybe Nakamura. I havent seen Donati enough to judge him. McManus is ok but id have Weir, Cuellar and Webster ahead of him. It makes a difference from a short time ago when we were saying only Ferguson and Prso would make there team.
-
There is talk that the SPL / SFA want to re-schedule Rangers trip to St Mirren and Celtics home game with Falkirk on November 10 in order to protect the Scottish players from potential injury in order they are fit for Scotlands game against Italy. Personally I think this is a good idea and the clubs should aid the national team in such a huge game. We need Ferguson, Hutton, McCulloch, Weir, Brown, McManus and probably Hartley all fully fit and at top of their game for the Italy game. I can see a few fans thinking the games shouldnt be touched and I can kind of see there point of view. But Id rather see Scotland get to the Euro's next summer and for the sake of 1 saturday, if it helps, then I think its a good idea. Thoughts?

That still leaves Messi and Henry. Does Eidur Gudjohnsenn (sp) still play for them? He is class aswell. But I fancy a draw regardless of who they play. It doesnt matter what team it is, when they come to Glasgow they are up against 12 men.
-
Definatly Huttons on McAvennie Junior.
-
Its a great point Pete. Long term its better for him and the club its if he sat out when he has an injury and recovered to get him 100%.
-
You'd know about gay thugs :fish: I just thought he looked a simple thug. I remember Brown played for Hibs at Ibrox and Ferguson had him and Thomson in his back pocket that day aswell. But agree with the above, id have him in my team. I think he is an arrogant cock but then again id like this if he played for Gers - its a bit like Rooney - just seems nothing can get to him.
-
I didnt think it was a necessarily (sp) dirty game, just a few bad tackles from a few of there players. Brown was lucky to stay on the park and there was a shout for McDonald to be given straight red but the rest were just deserved bookings.
-
Tell us Fraser is it Coventry or Cuventry like some annoying commentators say? What do the locals pronouce it as? :fish:

I dont think we noticed you were gone mate

Crikey!! Blast from the past - I remember you well. Welcome back
