I havent noticed that myself, id have said the opposite. But when we are talking about Boyd........

Naismith to play upfront for me. If we are looking for cover else where then Buffel should come in, he's done enough in reserve games to be given a chance. Id like to see them both play in the next league game
-
Yeah probably but that means taking Buffel out my team and moving Ferguson there, shifting Thomson in one place and bringing Naismith / Adam in. Or Playing Whittaker / Naismith RM, McCulloch LM and moving Thomson in again with Ferguson going to Buffels place. If its between Naismith, Adam, Whittaker or Buffel then its a 2 way toss between Naismith or Buffel. People will say Naismith probably deserves a start more but id pick Buffel simply because he is more natural in the hole behind the striker and that allows Ferguson to play his natural role more while keeping Hemdani and Thomson in the team. Lyon are going to have to attack us and if Buffel is playing then we could hit them on the break.

They will never fill 30,000 and will struggle to pay for it with hiked up ticket prices turning fans off. It should mean the OF get about 10,000 tickets up there though but that wont happen. On another side its about time there was a ground in Scotland with a 30,000 capacity to play semi finals like Dundee Utd v Hearts rather than playing in a quarter filled Hampden.

Thats a big blow. So do we play Cousin and Naismith upfront or go with 4-5-1. Personally Id look at 4-5-1 with Buffel playing off Cousin. ________________McGregor_________________ Hutton______Weir________Carlos_______Papac McCulloch___Ferguson___Hemdani____Thomson _________________Buffel__________________ _______________Cousin____________________

Reading this makes me want to see Buffel in the first team more and more. He is playing well in every reserve outing and to play in a cold blustery night and not complain shows he must have the right attitude

This could be a cracker of a game tonight. Pity i cant see it. Hopefully Arsenal go on and rip them apart and get there 6 pt gap back at the top. Im really enjoying seeing Arsene Wenger answer his critics this season and built another amazing team. Defeat for Newcastle could see Allardyce geting his P45 tomorrow morning. Come on the Goons

Im sure McGeady is the result of a Frank McAvennie one night stand
-
Yip that will do nicely, I didnt see the first lyon game though, but saw him against Barca and he put in a superb shift.
-
Come on now, ive only ever had good things to say about Buffel and Gow.
-
Against who? :fish:
-
Pretty funny thread this, Alan's suggestions are great especially the Papac one Gav's one could be altered a little Who's that running down the right wing? Who's that running down the flank? Alan Hutton is his name The best right back in game And Mcgeady is a tinky little wank!

Darch does have a problem with his Hamstring, its been like that since Motherwell away. He needs to sit out for a few weeks and let it fully recover, hopefully after Lyon. Even if we get an hour out of him against Lyon he will still get in there and rattle there defence, but if Cousin plays like he did against Barca then that would do for me aswell.

It did for me also Dont know about other bears but I miss Hullo Hullo, i always saw it as a symbol of our support. Its a shame we cant do something about getting back but just singing original words.

40 quid is a bit much compared to when I last had my ST when it was 50 quid for the 3 game CL package for Bayern, Valencia and PSV.
-
Cant believe you could get 6/4 on Milan last night, I wish I knew that. There record away from home is pish, they had the same rrcord of 3 defeats last season yet they still get through. Shakthar fooked up, if they had won then the mhanks were out. But Im not bothered as long as we get past Lyon and out of our group.
-
Great 4-2 win for them last night away to West Brom though!!
-
One of the biggest flops ever, about time they got rid of him.
-
Bollocks, most who would have watched the game will be Bears fans and his other viewers will still get to see the re-scheduled match. Bu im confused about Lyon, are they playing or not this weekend?
-
Were we linked with George McCartney of West Ham in the summer? The Hammers are in for Readings Nicky Shorie which could mean McCartney could be available. If S Smith doesnt get back to full fitness then McCartney would be a great buy. He is attacking and has a bit of pace on him and gets forward to support the left midfielders.

Id be giving him more minutes on the park now, he is almost 20 and should be playing first team football. Is he likely to go on loan somewhere to get some action?
-
Because the game was due to be played on a sunday I think its a good idea. A sensible option would be to move it to the Saturday or Friday night to give the guys an extra day or so rest.
-
They have 10 days to get a takeover sorted, if not they will lose 10 or 12 points which currently puts them in the relegation zone. Nay luck Richard Keyes

Its just dawned on me that the Gretna game is on Sunday. Now it should definatly be at least moved back to Saturday. Yet again the SPL fuck up by not thinking and just allow Setanta the tv rights to show games. They should use common sense and think that they have a club who has a chance to progress in europe. But it makes you wonder if the SPL, TV companies join the media and want Scottish clubs (gers in particular) knocked out so they can slate us - pure typicaly negativity from the media.

Didnt PL want to stay on but he just couldnt agree to a improved contract?
