Whilst Burke is giving 110% and looking very lively he is guilty of giving the ball away and still couldnt cross a road. I caught the last half hour and he got himself in good positions yet gave the ball away and couldnt produce an end product. He was the same against Hibs but at least he is giving us something of an attacking sense in the final 3rd. He has the potential to go on and be a dangerous winger but needs to get a few simple things into his game. I still think Novo is our better option on the right (at the moment) but have to say Burke has impressed me with his appetite and is looking to bring more to the right side than McCulloch has in recent games. Hemdani still oozes (sp) class on the ball and is by far our best player, I still think playing Buffel infront of him and 2 wide players would be our most dangerous team.

Cant believe it, the tv channel here advertised a re-show of Celtic v Gretna but have the game on live and now ive missed 65 mins - bassa's. What is up with the pitch? What a state its in, we havent played much at home recently so it should be in better nick than that.

Yeah I agree, i wouldnt begrudge him the move for the money either but i applaude him for not jumping at it. As you say he would be likely to treble his wages at Spurs but decided to stay at Gers. He is capable of getting a few medals this season and i think thats whats maybe swayed it for him

Ive been impressed whenever ive seen Moore play. He is similar to Agbonlahor and Ashley Young in that he has pace and can play wide or through the middle. I actually thought he was better than Young but he seems to get the nod from MON these days. He'd be a great addition for us IMO and give us pace down the wing that we need.

Delighted he is staying on and TBH he will win more at Gers than Spurs so he is right to stay on. This would have been a financial move for him but then again he isnt exactly skint being a Ranger player. Only if one of the big 4 comes in then I can see him move.

Well Hearts need something soon, they are an absolute shambles at the moment. If Gretna werent so shite then Hearts would be in real danger of going down.

Like Craig, I was totally shocked at this last weekend. I remember him playing for Celtic against us. He and Simon Donnelly were signed around the same time and did not bad against us. IIRC he was a big part of Tommy Burns side that went the whole season only losing 1 game despite still finishing 2nd in the league. After that his injuries kicked in. Total shame that a young man can lose his life like that.

Thanks for starting this Pete, Ive no idea about any teams news. Firstly Ive think the applause is just as good as a silence but its probably more appropriate at the grounds where that person made himself a name and other grounds can observe a minutes silence. But either way it should be respected. Dundee Utd are a bit of a bogey team and we are due to give them a bit of a pasting. Id go a straight 4-4-2: __________________McGregor__________________ Hutton______Weir___________Cuellar______Papac Burke______Ferguson_____Hemdani______Naismith ______________Cousin____Darcheville___________ Possibly bringing Novo on for Burke later, but having Burke and Naismith down the wings against Hibs got us into the game and created. Burke was lively dispite giving the ball away a few times, probably due to him being lightweight and pushed off the ball again. But We should continue this at home but add an extra striker.

What if he is the difference to us winning the SPL? Sorry but Im the same as P&P with this, I cant even remember how he acted in a green jersey and dont even care. The guy is human and when he scores goals he has every right to celebrate or whatever he did when playing. Once again he isnt my first choice but I'll certainly get behind him until he gives me reason not to. He will definatly give us much more than some of the robots we have just now.

Arsenal v Chelsea game was much the better. I was nodding off until it started and was glad I stayed up. John Terry is a tit and should have been sent off for that lundge on Fabregas then the kick out a few mins later. What can you say about Arsenals play, they are amazing. They have beaten Chelsea, played Liverpool off the park and only got a draw and drew with Man U. I think its safe to say they are totally back this year. BTW I couldnt believe it when the commentator said Wenger got Toure for 150k - the man is a genious.

When I left this game to watch the 2nd half of Liverpool v Man U it was 2-0 the mkanks, now 3-2 to Inverness :cheers: :cheers: Unbelieveable

Half time in the first game Liverpool 0-1 Man Utd - Tevez 44th min Its been mostly Liverpool in the first half then Man U just pop up with a corner and score - typical Man U. Pretty good game though, hopefully Liverpool step it up in the 2nd half and give us something to watch.

Yip 2.2 milion for Miller seems a lot but not when we have paid the same (give or take a few thousand) for Naismith, Whittaker and Thomson all who have unconvinced me aswell and even Sebo who we didnt play.

If we were 4-0 up then that song is maybe justified. But we have a lot of strikers at the club getting games (Cousin, Darche, Boyd, Naismith, Novo, McCulloch) not to mention those not playing and we dont have someone regularly putting the ball in the net or even making chances. A lot of that is due to Smiths selections and continual changes. No doubt about it, Smith prefers certain players at his clubs to work with and Miller is one of them. I quite like him even though he struggled at Ibrox first time round and I actually think he would be decent for us this time if the fans gave him the chance. He isnt my first choice (far from it) but I know what type of player he is and what he will give us. All he needs to do is repeat his Scotland form from certain games.

So England appoint a 2nd foreign manager in 3 bosses and a man with a great pedigree in Capello. Should Scotland go out and get someone with a decent pedigree also? I dont think we would get someone like Capello but we need to set our sights on someone good. The likes of Levein and Jefferies are just not for me.
