They should go for Mourinho, he would get the players playing to the best. If they want to stay English then Harry Redknapp would be there best choice, i think a lot of the fans will want Harry aswell.

If there stadium gets upgrading then fair enough as long as they pay for it and the tax payer doesnt. What Scotland needs is a 70k stadium for big matches like OF cup finals and Scotland games unless they start using Murrayfield. Plus we need a 30k stadium for cup semi finals where the OF arent involved. We have plenty stadia between 10-20 thousand then there is a jump to Ibrox and hampden of 50,000.

Everything about the england team is wrong at the moment. They expect to just turn up for matches, there attitude is all wrong. McLaren couldnt pick his nose never mind a team. For 1 thing he doesnt even have Englands best goalkeeper in the squad - Robert Green. Then he plays 4-5-1! He claims Lampard and Gerrard must play because they are goalscorers - but for me if you want goals you play strikers and goalscorers. Lampard and Gerrard score at club level - not every week - but strikers do. He should have went 4-4-2. McLaren will def be out of a job unless Birmingham fancy him. Mourinho for England??

I wouldnt say 1 or 2 games only. I think every Bear can see the talent Buffel has and the fact we're screaming out for creativity is why id put him back in the team / squad. Ive said the same for Gow, that he should be tried. Ive even said the same that Burke could be tried in the hole behind the strikers. Im just identifying the right kind of player for the position we need and Buffel fits the bill perfectly. Maybe others do deserve a chance, but that doesnt say he doesnt especially when he could bring that something special to the team. I would only say all those players deserve to be ahead of him if your talking LM, RM and upfront places. But for a spark in the middle of the park then he and Gow would top my list for a try. I really would like to see Buffel in the same team as Ferguson and Hemdani somehow. And i would like to see Naismith get more action. Im totally not comparing the 2 as Ferguson is a banker to play every game if fit and has played how many more games?? But the stats would probably tell us Ferguson has probably had more bad games than Buffel has pulled on a Gers shirt due to him hardly playing and Ferguson choking up so many games!! But of course, Fergusons better games outrule the bad ones and when BF is on his game he runs the show. Absolutely, and i can see where your coming from. But it could be a case of what if. You have even said yourself you can see Buffel can play so what if he comes back in the side and performs to a new level. You know im not Boyds biggest fan but If Buffel was in the team id have Boyd upfront as then you have a player which is exactly what Boyd needs and you can justify Boyds type of game. :cheers:

We're talking career threatening injuries who had ended a lot of players games plus those who have been out for extra long periods. Buffel's career wasnt threatened. And its not just knees, its any injury to threaten ruining the career plays on the mind. Check how shite Michael Owen is now, he should be running around like a mummy he had had that much injuries

I cant see where the slating comes from against Buffel. People are acting like he is the only one who has been lacklusture when he plays. Captain Ferguson and Hero Boyd are as guilty as Buffel when it comes to having a bad game yet they get played in there favoured position. Buffel hasnt always been bad either. The OF game when we won 3-1 2 seasons ago he was superb - always against Porto at Ibrox when he came on.

A keeper wouldnt go a miss Pete BUt i fully agree with your team. Buffel should be played. Klos was slated for not knuckling down in the reserves, now Buffel seems to be doing this and has got the finger out and is starring!! He surely deserves a game. As soon as he leaves, he will be the one who got away. I strongly believe he will go onto another club and be one of their better players.

Would be a massive blow for us. But here's hoping he see's himself at Gers another few seasons to win some medals. I actually cant see him moving on in January, the summer would be more likely. Yeah I was thinking he will probably realise he will still only be 49 / 50 after the next qualifying group so he wont make a knee jerk reation. He can take Scotland to the next WC then he'll be in with a great job somewhere. Id say Eck was pretty much a good option right now therefore id prefer him to stay, and i think he will. If he does move on then i dont think Levein would be my first choice. I prefer experience. Davie Moyes would be great but I really cant see him leaving Everton. After that, George Graham springs to mind along with Souness and even Strachan.
