  1. I bet Jonc wishes he was the Ibrox pitch right now - he never gets laid
  2. Why not......... :moon: I used to have a tshirt that said that!! Lets laugh at them for being them!!
  3. I hope its a good move for him, i like him and he is an important player. Everton should have played him more.
  4. Yeah but for a change it would be nice to see a manager go somewhere and be a bit more adventurous and pick out other signings rather than the safe option of players he has had previously. WS went to Everton and took Gough, Gazza, Cleland etc.
  5. Noble is a trier but isnt exactly Joe Cole. If West Ham got 4 million for him then thats a good deal. He would be good up in Scotland though and from a Rangers point of view its not good. We should move for his midfield team mate Hayden Mullins. He is very underrated and is a box to box midfielder who can tackle, pass and CREATE the odd chance. He likes to shoot aswell.
  6. This is a good thing as the pitch has been shocking recently. No excuses for not putting at least 6 past East Stirling now!!
  7. Agreed on first point. He has always had to play upfront on his own aswell which doesnt help. He showed against Barca he has a talent. His power is there to see and the likes of Naismith and Burke could learn off this as they were easily pushed off the ball in this game and against Hibs away. Plus Cousin took his goal superbly, he was at a tight angle and could have blasted it anywhere. Disgrace on 2nd point.
  8. Any chick would look good seen as Elvis is a hairy ugly bassa :moon:
  9. I think there is a slight over reaction on Dailly, its not as if we are signing someone in the Capucho mould. Dailly is just past his best thats all. He was playing decently for Southampton until Xmas and Burley wanted to keep him on but West Ham recalled him. He could easy do a job in the SPL albeit would be a more attractive signing for the likes of Dundee Utd, Aberdeen or Hibs. Yes its not adventureous for Rangers but its a good short term signing seen as Ugo is leaving and Webster is never fit. He can play the holding midfield role and centre half. The guy is a legend after the Germany away game a few years ago anyway.
  10. Luke Moore would be a good signing
  11. He is well past his best but could probably still do a job in the SPL. However its not exactly a exciting promising long term signing. Surely younger guys should get a chance ahead of signing older players.
  12. I think the situation with Webster is a waste of time and money (depending how much % of his wage we are paying). Either he is fit or he should be at Wigan recovering. He was promising but I always was on the side that thought Pressely made him look good although quite a few have said the opposite.
  13. Im pretty sure they have let him know, but rumour is they are holding off until the summer until the find out if Neville comes back to full fitness.
  14. Interesting Frankie, Disappointing regarding Hutton but nobody in the SPL could really turn 33k a week down. Im sure he is desperate to stay until the summer though as if we win the SPL he would be gutted. But maybe he would already qualify for a medal? I still think he should hold out for Man Utd if there is truth in they rumours. Matty Taylor would be a good signing but I still would like to see a creative player with that touch of magic. They are hard to come by but there are still good players out there. Dont know much about Larsen.
  15. Only watched the 2nd half. Thought Cousin took his goal superbly. Its was different to see him with a burst of pace and power will a fine finish. He showed his strength well. Didnt think Naismith had a good 2nd half. Got himself in dangerous positions but didnt do anything with it. But he is trying hard and if he keeps going he could be off on a goal scoring run soon enough. I like his attitude and appetite.
  16. The Hibs boy Murphy went aswell. Boyd and Fletcher next!!
  17. yip good luck, he is a good centre half and thanks for that goal
  18. I dont think its a backward step at all. Its similar to us taking Smith back. He stated he wouldnt manage again but the lure of Newcastle shows he must be really up for it. It will be interesting to see who he takes in as his No.2
  19. Great stuff for them! That is what the cup is about and its good to see. Luton only got about 300k so not sure why Havent will get 900k. TV maybe?
  20. Its only 1 or 2 clubs doing that Gav. Man City v West Ham was a piss poor game last night and it deserved to be a 0-0
  21. Not had any problems recently, but still dont have the home page when logging in. Craig, you the same still also?
  22. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/heart_of_midlothian/7191265.stm Not a bad looking stand, but thought they wanted 27,000 not 23,000. Seems a lot to spend just to take the capacity up by 6,000 from its current 17,000. One thing for sure, they will have the best stadium in the league - Clyde, Dunfermline, Livingston and St Johnstone cant compete with that the season after next - :fish:
  23. Didier Deschamps price drastically reduced by the bookies but Keegan still favourite at the moment. Houllier and Mark Hughes also short odds. Martin Jol wouldnt be a bad choice and has stretched to 20/1. Shearer doesnt look like he will get it this time unless he comes in as a No.2. I think a Shearer / Keegan or Shearer / Houllier or Shearer / Venebles partnership would work. Whoever comes in has a job to do though!!
  24. Im not a big liker of Liverpool but dont mind Rafa and think the way the Yanks have treated him with talking to Klinsmann is shocking. I hope he doesnt walk away and they have to sack him so he gets a pay off. Rafa was spot on when he said the yanks dont have a clue about the transfer window and its not a draft system. Cant see him being Liverpool boss at start of next season, they are way off the pace and its now a top 3. Should Newcastle maybe make a move here!!!!
  25. Not much chat about footy at moment so il start some. Man City v West Ham tonight. Its going to be Man Citys first home defeat of the season whether it be aet or penalties. But i fancy the Hammers to win there. Also because at the start of the season a said it was a banker West Ham will draw Sheff Utd in the cup this season after them trying to appeal to stay in the premier league. C'mon you irons.!!!
