  1. I'll only put a schedule up if people stick to doing it otherwise it can be done at random. But Feb is a busy fixture list for us. Sun 3rd - Hibs (A) SFAC - Craig Sat 9th - Falkirk (H) SPL - Gribz Wed 13th - Panathinikos (H) UEFA - SuperAlly Sun 17th - Kilmarnock (A) SPL - Frankie Thur 21st - Panathinikos (A) UEFA - AlanMidd Sun 24th - Gretna (H) SPL - Stewarty Wed 27th - Hearts (A) SPL - Juffery
  2. This boy could be a good signing. He was impressive when he came on the scene at Villa and I thought he would go on and be a good player but MON didnt see him in his plans so messed up his career with a move to Fulham. Thats a non starter as they are poor at the moment. Hopefully he gets a game on Sunday and shows what he can do.
  3. Chris Kirkland and Emile Heskey get in the squad ahead of West Ham pair Robert Green and Dean Ashton - WTF is Capello on. But he picks Matthew Upson who runs likes he is carrying 10 kgs of sand in each boot.
  4. Well done Capello, I like Becks but he hasnt played a competitve game since October therefore cant nearly be in the running. Capello has to show some toughness here as its his first squad. Becks is 32 and has another 3 or 4 years to get that 100th cap.
  5. Ive said before id like to see Hemdani get forward a bit more with Thomson sitting behind him. Maybe Dailly can do that until Thommo is back.
  6. Thats pretty funny, i bet he gets a slagging for that
  7. Quite imaginative actually!! I dont think its a bad signing, just not a terribly good one. But if he plays i think he'll be ok for us. Its just WS hasnt shown much ambition on this one but il trust him judgement
  8. Sorry but i had to chuckle at that, i dont think we could blame you, i think everyone gets homesick in Dundee But werent you a bit of a decent keeper Frankie??
  9. And with a game in hand albeit against Liverpool at Anfield but thats a given 3 pts. Get in there the Hammers  Liverpool are pish. Only Gerrard, Alonso and Torres are quality there yet he plays Mascherano ahead of Alonso The rest are average. Kuyt is average, For someone that is 6ft7 Crounch wins jack shit balls in the air. He is shite but then pops up with the odd fantastic goal. But he is Whaayyy out of his depth at Liverpool. But onto the Happy Ammers, 3 defeats in 16 games with our injury list ins superb and we are only a few points of the UEFA cup places. We still have Bellamy to come back. We were flying when he was in the team.
  10. More top flight games being called off. The SPL / SFA are a joke. No top flight match should get called off due to rain. I thought every club had undersoil heating, cant they check weather forecasts?
  11. I quited liked Boab at times depending where he was playing.
  12. I cant see us take Lafferty in for that 3.5 mill fee, not if we said no to Luke Moore. But overall IF Cousin leaves IMO our squad has weakend more than anything else. We'll see if we get someone else in though. WS may still get Larsen, although i still dont know why we are chasing strikers especially with us have zero ful back cover.
  13. While we have a cup semi final to look forward to Im sure we'll be keeping one eye on the scores from Fir Park!! 'Well could do us a wee favour here and its not beyond them. C'mon the Steel men!!
  14. Aye and first up is Man Utd this weekend at White Hart Lane!! Giggsy in his back pocket
  15. Preston Tuesday sounds like the name of a 1950s footballer
  16. Gutted aswell - always been a fan of him before his leg break but never expected him to go on and be such a good player. He has given consistantly brilliant performances and is easy the best talent unearthed at Murray Park to date. He will still get my vote for POTY at the end of the season. All the best Hutton.
  17. Yip lets hope he gets fit and shows what he can do. Hopefully he and Carlos form a long succesful partnership.
  18. He's named in Burleys first Scotland meet up squad next month. Never seen him play myself but doesnt exactly excite me. Might be decent back up as Ipswich arent doing too badly in the Championship. Id rather have seen us try get Niemi as part of the Cousin deal (depending how old Niemi is now.)
  19. The BBC say the mhanks are going for him aswell.
  20. Whats everyone hoping for - Cousin go or Cousin stay? From a playing point of view id rather have him upfront against Panathinikos but dont like players playing if they dont want to be there.
  21. Good shout mate and i was thinking the same with keeping Whittaker at LB, but that will never happen. I like the look of your team except is probably put McCulloch or Novo in for Burke in midfield. Upfront from a playing perspective Cousin is the better player upfront but it is a kick in the nuts for Boyd. ___________________McGregor__________________ Lowing________Cuellar_______Weir________Whittaker ____________Hemdani________Ferguson____________ McCulloch____________Buffel____________Naismith__ ____________________Cousin_____________________
  22. Why do you want Spurs to win so much? I think they will at least get a draw. Everton are doing well and the law of averages says they wont win every home game.
  23. Well with Hutton away (or is he?) and Cousin back it will be interesting to see how we line up in the coming weeks. Whittaker will switch to RB as we have nobody else to play there. Lowing is under 34 so doesnt get a game. That means Papac is likely to come into LB until S Smith gets fit. Upfront will be interesting to see if Smith decides to stick with Cousin. JCD is fit again so can these 2 form a partnership until the end of the season. Will we go 4-4-2 or stick with 4-5-1/4-3-3?
  24. What, you think Reading and Portsmouth will win?
  25. Glad i never done a coupon last night. Either Southampton or Bolton would have let me down. Id have stuck them on as homes. Il have a wee shot at tonights Premier League games. Chelsea will beat Reading Man U will beat Pompey Im going to stick my neck out on these though: Derby to beat Man City West Ham to beat Liverpool Spurs to go up to Everton and win.
