Interesting Frankie, Disappointing regarding Hutton but nobody in the SPL could really turn 33k a week down. Im sure he is desperate to stay until the summer though as if we win the SPL he would be gutted. But maybe he would already qualify for a medal? I still think he should hold out for Man Utd if there is truth in they rumours. Matty Taylor would be a good signing but I still would like to see a creative player with that touch of magic. They are hard to come by but there are still good players out there. Dont know much about Larsen.

Only watched the 2nd half. Thought Cousin took his goal superbly. Its was different to see him with a burst of pace and power will a fine finish. He showed his strength well. Didnt think Naismith had a good 2nd half. Got himself in dangerous positions but didnt do anything with it. But he is trying hard and if he keeps going he could be off on a goal scoring run soon enough. I like his attitude and appetite.

The Hibs boy Murphy went aswell. Boyd and Fletcher next!!

yip good luck, he is a good centre half and thanks for that goal

I dont think its a backward step at all. Its similar to us taking Smith back. He stated he wouldnt manage again but the lure of Newcastle shows he must be really up for it. It will be interesting to see who he takes in as his No.2

Great stuff for them! That is what the cup is about and its good to see. Luton only got about 300k so not sure why Havent will get 900k. TV maybe?
-
Its only 1 or 2 clubs doing that Gav. Man City v West Ham was a piss poor game last night and it deserved to be a 0-0

Not had any problems recently, but still dont have the home page when logging in. Craig, you the same still also?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/heart_of_midlothian/7191265.stm Not a bad looking stand, but thought they wanted 27,000 not 23,000. Seems a lot to spend just to take the capacity up by 6,000 from its current 17,000. One thing for sure, they will have the best stadium in the league - Clyde, Dunfermline, Livingston and St Johnstone cant compete with that the season after next - :fish:

Didier Deschamps price drastically reduced by the bookies but Keegan still favourite at the moment. Houllier and Mark Hughes also short odds. Martin Jol wouldnt be a bad choice and has stretched to 20/1. Shearer doesnt look like he will get it this time unless he comes in as a No.2. I think a Shearer / Keegan or Shearer / Houllier or Shearer / Venebles partnership would work. Whoever comes in has a job to do though!!

Im not a big liker of Liverpool but dont mind Rafa and think the way the Yanks have treated him with talking to Klinsmann is shocking. I hope he doesnt walk away and they have to sack him so he gets a pay off. Rafa was spot on when he said the yanks dont have a clue about the transfer window and its not a draft system. Cant see him being Liverpool boss at start of next season, they are way off the pace and its now a top 3. Should Newcastle maybe make a move here!!!!

Not much chat about footy at moment so il start some. Man City v West Ham tonight. Its going to be Man Citys first home defeat of the season whether it be aet or penalties. But i fancy the Hammers to win there. Also because at the start of the season a said it was a banker West Ham will draw Sheff Utd in the cup this season after them trying to appeal to stay in the premier league. C'mon you irons.!!!

Is that just league appearances? Im sure Albertz got more than 56 goals. I thought it was nearer 70.
-
How much is it? I bet its less than it would cost to buy a creative player from elsewhere
-
Id be disappointed if we let Buffel go without even giving him another try. Yet us letting players with talent go. Its up to the manager to get him playing well. As for Souter - who???
-
The game has to get the go-ahead first Hopefully the rain in weegieland buggars off soon. One things for sure the players should be pretty fresh just now, they have practically had a winter break from games
-
Either 8000 or 20,000 - bit of a difference there. Would the 8000 hike mean the screens being replaced with seats maybe? But a new 70,000 seater would be awesome.

Thats a cracking wee page. Forgot about Big Jocky Bjorklund. And Kevin Drinkell brings back some memories. Jonathon Johansson was another winger like McCann I liked. Hateley, Flo, Mols, Wallace and Dodds all have impressing scoring records ratio wise, while McCoists is awesome, and Negris is amazing - scoring more goals than games. But we havent had a shortage of plums: Dibble Ginzburg Letizi Ball Bernard Boli Bollan Bonnissel Capucho Emerson Gayle Jeffers Konterman Mlandenovic Muscat Nerlinger Ostenstad Sionko Can JRod, Svenssen, Vanoli and Vignal be added! A few unlucky with injury aswell. Sebby Rozental, Jonas Thern, Daniel Prodan EDIT - Add Shota and Bo Andersen to the impressive goals to games ratio - Bo Andy got 15 in 23 - thats good going
-
And if it is, that means it could be shifted again if both clubs are still in the cup which is likely. Or even still we could be drawn with each other at that round.
-
Hoping this is true but Mark Hughes is a good manager and I cant work out what he would have seen here. Plus Faye wont really replace Savage. If its true, any chance of getting Tugay in exchange for the rest of the season???
-
Thats one of the funniest posts Ive seen That shed is probably better than half the stadia in the lower scottish league. But as for the fixtures, what we should have done is play the Gretna game this Tuesday instead of Wed, then fit in the cup game on Thursday or Friday, then play Inverness on Sunday as schueduled. We were due to play a host of different players in the cup anyway so fatigue wouldnt have been a problem and then we could be back into the current schedule. A 2nd string if players should get past East Stirling.

That 140 quid was nice from a fiver mate

OF game is probably going to be March so Hutton and McCulloch etc will likely be available by the time the game eventually comes. Its annoying we dont get a OF game for a while again
-
Will be played on 23rd with the OF game being swiched to March http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_cups/7181119.stm
