Quite a few fancied City. Our pundits on the telly did, but i thought Man U would have battered them. 11/1 was a steel

Ball has been playing well all season, he is a player I liked at Rangers but just had a bad time with injuries. Great result for Man City though even though it stuffed my coupon. Arsene Wenger must have enjoyed his Sunday lunch with those 2 results. Didnt actually like the plain kit Man U were wearing, it just didnt look right in this day and age.

Went to bed after the 10th minute and glad I did. What a pile of pish. What a chance for Arsenal tonight to open a wee gap up.
-
Tell me about it!!! I had a treble on aswell - Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal tonight!!! Ive definatly got to stop putting a coupon on. As for Celtics win, they went and played football and torn Aberdeen apart. As Gav says we need someone who can run with the ball and take on a player or 2. I cant stand that McAvennie love child but he had some silky skills for one of the goals.

Man Utd are 7/2 and the draw is 5/2. One of them bets is a banker but not sure which one. If i chose one the other will happen. Its the same as Villa yesterday.
-
I didnt think there would be a problem with the City fans during the silence after all what has been said. But what was all the bangers going off? Must been some clowns outside the stadium.
-
I fancy: Man Utd v Man City - Home win Chelsea v Liverpool - Home win Aberdeen v Celtic - draw Might have a flutter on individual games.

Shocking that in a day in age where Pro footballers are playing on that one has to retire at 32 due to being fat and lazy. Watch this guy puff up now that he isnt playing. It will be like watching a cake in the oven - he will grow huge now. He was a bit of nightmare to play against when he was at Celtic but he has always been a fat boy. Bye bye :moon:
-
It fell away at the end. Ended up with 4 draws and 1 win. SWANSEA drew at Crewe (conceded 2 late on) WEST HAM drew with Birmingham (disgrace) HEARTS beat Gretna SHEFF U drew with 10 men Scunthopre (Robson is pish) BURNLEY drew with Colchester - bottom of the league :uzi:
-
Mine is coming alone nicely at the moment. 3 winning and 2 drawing. Didnt go for the above teams
-
C'mon you Irons!! Freddie with his First West Ham goal. If we dont beat Birmingham we dont deserve to be challenging for Europe.
-
Newcastle are a mess. Villa well deserved the win. I wouldnt be surprised to see some more drama at St James park soon. They have Man Utd, Blackburn and Liverpool for there next 3 games - no more than 1 point IMO.
-
Fuck me 2 goals for Villa in 2 mins Should have taken that 5/2
-
Our very own Craig Gardiner has just came on for the 2nd half. Pretty quick trip that from Bermuda :fish:
-
Agreed. He hasnt scored in the league since November 2005
-
I dont mind if Villa lose or win, find them boring at times. But Newcastle are a pain in the ass due to the soap opera so I kinda hope they lose. It would be funny to see them get brought into the relegation battle.
-
5/2 the draw and home win isnt bad odds!
-
Needs another goal now. Villa should have had a penalty. Barton did a John Terry save. But decent start to the game. I wonder what the in match betting odds are at the moment - I suppose il have a look
-
1-0 to Newcastle - Owen. I thought about Villa on the coupn yesterday but totally changed my mind. Fancy Newcastle to get something because they have to.

I think domestic form will slightly go out the window here and with a better atmosphere the players will be lifted a bit. Its now a knock out competition so WS really has little more options than to press on a bit although he showed at Easter Rd last week he was negative here. But we still didnt lose that and we can do the job at Ibrox. One of the frustrating things is IMO we have a squad capable of going up a few gears and taking the game to Panathinikos. But they are going to be well organised. Its games like this I still wish we had a player like Lovenkrands who could and would make a difference when we are drawing. He had a great record of stepping up and getting us a goal in big games. Thats why Id play Buffel, he is capable of that.

Dundee Utd v Hibs - Home Win Hearts v Gretna - Home Win Motherwell v Kilmarnock - Home Win Rangers v Falkirk - Home Win St Mirren v Inverness - Draw Aberdeen v Celtic - Draw

IF and big if, we were to spend that cash on a player again, then it has to go on someone who will make a great difference to the team with a good track record and can give us that bit extra. Benni McCarthy 2 million and Kyle Lafferty 4 million
-
Is it 7 in the SPL? I thought it was less with a few being U21. 7 seems ok but 3 U21's is slightly high, 2 would be a good number here.

McCormack didnt get much of a chance and when he played he looked ok. He took his goal in Porto well. Havent seen anything of him at Motherwell but they are doing good this season. Good luck to the lad but he may be playing Championship football next season as Wigan are right in the dog fight.
