  1. Ladbrokes loyal although not having much luck with them
  2. Give up for this week mate - its certainly not been your day at the bookies. Almost makes my loss feel a bit better Back to the drawing board next week though
  3. What about a British XI? _________________Goram_________________ Stevens_____Butcher____Gough______Robertson Steven______McCall____Gascoigne____Walters ___________Hateley____McCoist_____________
  4. Blimey, tough one! XI best picks would probably be this but in a system then Wilkins or Trever Steven may get in. ___________________Klos__________________ Stevens______Butcher____Moore______Numan Laudrup______Gascoigne____Gio VB_____Albertz _______________Mols_____Hateley___________ Subs: Woods Kuznetzov Mikhailichenko De Boer Negri
  5. Not sure if id have touched Villa yesterday, Fulham were always going to get more points somewhere in the season, they have a good bit more quality than Derby.
  6. I think there are 2 things thats obvious as to why Boyd isnt playing - 1) WS doesnt like him for reasons beyond to us and 2) we are still playing 4-5-1 and Boyd cant play the role upfront. If we were going 4-4-2 then there would be a shout for him but he is in the same boat as Gow, Buffel and even Novo! IMO Nacho earned a chance to start on the right before Burke came back. Id hae Novo in the team at the moment whether it be RM or upfront.
  7. Agreed here. He is decent squad cover at best and shouldnt be near a starter at the moment.
  8. I was sick yesterday. Had a 50 quid double on Birmingham and West Brom, West Brom won 2-1 and Brum conceded against Derby in the 90th min!
  9. Ladbrokes have a sexy six accumulator every week. Today its shocking odds IMO. They give 14/1 that Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Rangers and Celtic will all win. IMO that is shite odds considering Arsenal go to Man City (who are unbeaten at home), Man U go to Spurs and Chelsea go to Portsmouth who have just signed Defoe and Baros!!! Plus the mhinks go to Kilmarnock and we go to Hibs. Id say 30/1 would be nearer a fair bet. 6 aways is crazy!!!
  10. AMEN!! HULLO HULLO............
  11. At the start he looks a lost pup! But all i can say is - he needs to focus. He is a 50 minute flight from coming home to his folks. Yes he may want to play for the Gers but he actually has a chance to go on a be a world class full back. I'll be cheering Spurs against Man U!!!
  12. Its absolute tragic IMO. This is by far my fave song. This is the song that is almost associated with Rangers. Im totally all for the 'proper' words 'we are the Rangers boys'...... But the worst thing about is the rest of the SPL can sing the same tune with "ha ha ha ha ha ha..." plus the EPL clubs can sing it (eg Man U) We are the Busby boys....... So where is FIFA's Consistancy here????
  13. Is there any word in the UK about getting this song back?? I think its absolute mental that the "elite" can rule this a non song!!! But that my personal thoughts. Surely the RST have discussed this. There are far worse songs thank this. IMO this song was a symbol of RANGERS - not the junk words - but the HULLO HULLO - saying we are there!!
  14. That Gazza goal will go down as a landmark!!! That was awesome when he lifted his shirt above his neck!! Set up by a Coisty cross aswell!!!
  15. That game at Hampden will NEVER leave my memory. It seems like a 2 day thing. Our bus was only Half filled and we got into Hampden about 1pm (2pm K/o) and in came John Brown, Ian Durrant and Gordon Durie into the Gers end. Durranty was 2 rows behind me and I had a wee chat with him. It was Alan McLarens debut, and he ran out first for a warm up and the 4000 bears gave him a huge cheer. After that all i can remember was singing for 90 mins NON STOP!!!! There will be plenty guys on here who have went to Celtic away but that day was amazing!!!! The Bounce when Laudrup scored the 3rd was out of this world.
  16. You must have got bummed that night!
  17. Gav he must be sick of the site of you! You see him everywhere. He puts petrol in his car and your there buying a microvable pie in the garage!
  18. I fancy that bar Man U. I think Spurs will get a point. Although it is a flying Man U were taling about so there is a chance!

    Generations!!

I agree with your other points but I find the 'on the park' interesting. He signed a 3 yr deal which isnt massive in football terms but surely he'd be looking at this job as his last. Who would suceed him? Personally i really dont see Coisty as a straight replacement at the moment. Obviously we dont have hindsight as to what happens but the club has 2 experiences to follow from recent Scottish managers. I think a lot may depend on what happens with the SPL / Atlantic league (if thats still in progress). No doubt the support wants success and progression but theres a limit in Scotland.
  20. I see your point of view and i cant see it working well due to Butcher being a poor coach. Many Bears think he cant coach worth a cent but IMO il go with Burleys point of view. End of the day, if the players repsect him then that will put aside what the fans think.

You'll know better than me Frankie, but can Walter bring back good days again? TBH he is pretty much on course this season so far coz we are STILL in 4 competitions, but it must be a total different job for him this time round. From over this end of the globe i pretty much go by what is said on this forum and dont get a feel for the fans mood at all. I know 9IAR was a one-off and we wont get that again this era but when i look at it from a scale point of view he has got us back to the minimum where should be in 12 months!

    Welcome Thread

    Hello mate!! Welcome aboard!!!
  23. Just watching that video where we out sang Easter Rd, and was thinking if we had a fit Dado Prso in the team now we could be awesome!! The big man had everything in his game! Then if you think about having Prso then you gotta put Albertz and Laudrup in the current squad and then it goes into dreams.... Fook me, im blarring old songs and watching Gers clips on youtube and realised how good we were in the 90s.
  24. I hope you had a wash before coming on!! Fair enough, we often welcome the balanced celtic supporter and enjoy mature debate with them. You seem pretty level headed despite choosing to support the dark side!!
  25. I've got a 1990's CD on at the moment and loads of songs are bringing back great memories of going to Ibrox on a saturday with my mate on the train from Aberdeen. It was magical days out during 9IAR. Im trying to find the best game for me but i cant see past our 3-1 win against Celtic at Hampden in 1994. They were playing there for the season in the league while the pigsty got done up. Hateley took the lead then Van Hooijdonk scored. Hateley put us back infront then Laudrup scored a wonder solo to win the match 3-1!!! October 30th 1994!!! By far my best Gers memory!!!
