I just want to see something different from a 4-2-3-1. Having a trio in the midfield of Diomande, Barron and Raskin would mean we should control things better and then its up to the front 3 to turn that into goals. If not then perhaps a back 3. Fully agree - regression is what's in question here - not time for patience. All Aberdeen's new recruits and management cost less than our most expensive signing in the summer meaning it can be done for less than 4 million. To dominate a game, unless you have quality players, then it should either be 3 at the back or 3 real midfielders - but if you dont have a trusted No.10 then dont play the 4-2-3-1 as it makes the rest of the team disjointed. I have read the thread saying the second half was an improvement but when we could have been 3 down at half time id have expected nothing less then an improvement at the minimum. The team line up - I just dont get. Tav has to make way and would be more effective coming on for 20 minutes if needed. Lawrence is keeping himself in the team scoring the odd wonder goal but apart from that has been a passenger all season.

The only irk Ive had with Clement is his resistance to change. We are crying out for more in the final third so why is a back 3 never an option. Even with a back 4 then flood the midfield with real midfielders, but don't rely on Lawrence getting a showboating moment every week as he is wasteful for 89 minutes.

I was a huge Kent fan and if it was the Kent we seen under Gerrard it would be a no brainer to try re-sign him but he isnt / wouldnt be the same player.
