Its been a while since ive been nervous for a Gers game, the last being the OF game which is natural. I was confident in all our CL games bar Barca away but this one im getting wary about a German backlash.

Very decent player but is struggling at the moment due to playing in a terrible defence. Had a good spell from August to Dec where I saw every West Ham game bar 1. He likes to get forward and link with the left sided player. Wouldnt be a bad signing but Papac' form recently would be on par with McCartney.

Plus we have Thursday to get past first although Novo and Naismith are available for that. The team on Thursday may shed some light as to who will play upfront but id put my money on Boyd at the moment with Davis and Ferguson supporting. But everyone knows id play Buffel behind Boyd - a big Hampden pitch would suit him perfect to destroy Dundee Utd.

Yeah its Boltons turn for a bad run, but they are capable of getting a win from somewhere whilst Newcastle dont even look like scoring. Every week you think can Newcastle win here due to there size but they dont. There match v Birmingham this weekend is going to be huge

I had us on at 6/4 in the first leg but Spurs cost me my coupon and they were 8/13. 14/5 is a nice price for a draw. If it was 3-0 in the first leg then the bookies would think they game is beyond Bremen and wouldnt give them so much a chance to come out and turn it round and our price would be shorter. But they obviously think Bremen have a chance and will come all out and attack hence the 4/7. I may take the draw.

A typical scottish farce. Teams should be checked out to make sure they are capable of at least turning up for 38 games. Its absolute bullshit that points would be declared void. Surely everyone should automatically just get a 5-0 walkover and 3 pts from there remaining fixture against Gretna. Wigan should be fined and made to play elsewhere with that pitch - absolute joke and could have a say in the title. Bendtnar was running in the box and the ball just lifted 1 feet in the air then went out for a goal kick, could have easy have been a goal. As for West Ham they are a disgrace, ive never seen such poor defending from a professional team. Curbishley HAS to be given the dreaded vote of confidence with getting beat 4-0 three times in a week regardless of the opposition.

Kinda makes my bet feel a bit better and also should postpone one of there league games. They had 2 before we play again which could have put them on top albeit we would have games in hand but it adds a wee bit of pressure on us.

West Ham came out the blocks flying and had 2 great chances. Spurs got a free kick and scored then did the exact same again. West Ham defence is the worst in the league, they are absolutely shocking. Lucas Neill is a bombscare and gets 70k a week, Anton Ferdinand is pish and a poser and Spector isnt a centre half. Ljungberg is past it, and upfront Ashton and Zamoro arent fit. Curbishley has bought far too many luxury players and doesnt know what he is doing. Nice guy but Charlton was his level.

Its nuts, a Aberdeen, Portsmouth, Barnsley and Cardiff 4 fold would have returned almost 10 grand from a tenner

Bastard, i called up Ladbrokes to get a bet on the sheep at 9/1 but when i got through bets got suspended coz they scored - unbelieveable luck. I hope the mhanks get a draw now so my bet would have been fooked and they get an extra game to play.

Its going to go to the wire, The team 3rd from bottom is changing every week. It was Sunderland not long ago, then Wigan, then Birmingham, then Reading now Bolton. That point from Fulham MAY give them a kick start, all they need is 2 wins on the bounce and they have a lifeline. Hopefully they beat Newcastle in a fortnight, that would make things very interesting.

Newcastle are slipping in further by the week. If Sunderland draw or beat Everton today and Wigan pull of a shock against Arsenal then they will both be clear of Newcastle. Birmingham and Bolton have games in hand due to not playing this weekend and Newcastle go to Brum next week. If they dont get a result soon they will be down, i can honestly see them being right in the fight until the end due to how shite they are. Id love it if they go down They need a huge kick up the ass and change. Why oh why Michael Owen gets picked is beyond me. I was laughing at him yesterday, he has totally lost it and has done for 3 years. He cant even pass a ball and is on 100k a week - madness. Viduka and Martins should be upfront for them, when Martins came on yesterday he improved them. They are one team who need to go 3-5-2 as they cant play 4-4-2 at all, it would suit them with 3-5-2.
