Yeah but they trains will be busy aswell as Im sure others would have thought of that. Im sure there will be loads of trains from the stops on the east coast route that go to Manchester and the trains will be empty. Anyway, why arent you offering anyone a lift on your horse and cart :moon:

Thats unheard of these days - awesome stuff Mike!! Frankie ya jammy bassa :uzi:
-
I stayed in Tring for a while then Stoke Mandeville which is just along the road from Aylesbury. Used to love it down there.
-
Typical UK shambles, but as Gav's mate says they are after profits first - of course they are! One word of 100,000 Bears making the trip and they would be rubbing their hands together. If I was getting the train id go via Edinburgh and down the east then cut across in England where the trains wont be messy. Id also drive that way and end up staying around that side. Id also go down on the Monday if I was going. There should be extra buses and trains being laid on. Good luck though lads, I'll be wondering about you's this week. If my folks werent coming across id have flown over directly into Manchester.

Seriously or just the rumour mill? How old is PL now anyway? I liked him, his pace and talent always stood out in the bigger matches. Id have him in the team well ahead of the likes of Charlie Adam anyway.
-
Said the same somewhere. I dont know about anyone else but i miss Hullo Hullo - i found it a trademark song of Rangers and I think the majority of fans sang it with no malice at all. We just needed to change the words.
-
Guardiola replacing him is the shock - thats a knee jerk reaction. I thought they would definatly have gone for a Mourinho, Hiddink or the likes. But Jose is lined up for Inter. Barca have struggled this season but i think its been down to big ego's not performing. I wonder if Henry will leave! I but he is regretting leaving Arsenal. Id love to see him go back to Arsenal this summer but with a re-newed attitude that he isnt the main man - its exactly what the Goons need!
-
I hope so lads, Id like to see Fulham stay up out of that 3. I also preferred Bolton to stay up and they got out of it albeit it they could still go down if Chelsea humped them 10-0 but thats not happening. Derby v Reading is a tough one to call. Both are poor but I think Derby will really be up for it. Ive just got that feeling McLeish's luck will kick in and Brum will stay up with a win and the other 2 drawing.

Im already avoiding Manchester Good stuff on the tickets - Im very jealous of anyone going to the game but I decided i wasnt prepared to fork out a few grand getting there - Im just happy I will see it on TV. BTW, I used to live near Aylesbury.

Things to be decided at the top: Chelsea v Bolton, 15:00 Wigan v Man Utd, 15:00 Steve Bruce has came out and said Wigan will give 100%. Before Bruce took over Wigan had never got anything from the top 4 teams in the top flight. Now they have drawn with Liverpool and Chelsea away and Arsenal at home...can they make it a 4th with Man Utd??? IMO Man Utd will win to give them the title but it wont be easy. Chelsea will also beat Bolton. Things to be decided at the bottom: Birmingham v Blackburn, 15:00 Derby v Reading, 15:00 Portsmouth v Fulham, 15:00 This can go absolutely anyway bt Ive actually a sneaky feeling Birmingham will stay up. I think they will beat Blackburn at home. Reading are as bad as Derby at the moment and Derby will want to drag another club down with them rather than allowing Reading away from there ground gloating about staying up - I think Derby will at least get a draw sending Reading down. Portsmouth have to stop a rot going into the cup final and are playing for final places. Fulham have done amazing to get out of the relegation zone but winning at Portsmouth will be a big ask. 5th place to be decided: Everton v Newcastle, 15:00 West Ham v Aston Villa, 15:00 Everton just need a point. Villa shockingly lost at home to Wigan last weekend all but ending there hopes. I think Everton will at least get a draw in what also could be Keegans last match in charge of Newcastle (wouldnt surprise me at all) and Villa will beat a poor West Ham team at the moment. Playing for pride: Middlesbrough v Man City, 15:00 Sunderland v Arsenal, 15:00 Tottenham v Liverpool, 15:00 Sven's last match in charge of Man City is a crazy decision. I can see a draw there. Arsenal should win at Sunderland and Spurs v Liverpool is banker draw of the day. Should be a good day with plenty twists. I actually hope Fulham stay up and I wouldnt be upset if Chelsea nicked the title!!! Ive got 8 live matches on so fook knows what il be watching.

Fookin hell, what a silly silly tosser! The clown could have have made a fortune aswell
-
I thought it was 6 foot two Its also nice to see good Rangers words at the end of a song - Rangers Centre Half. If only that could be done in most songs then we may even get our trademark Hullo Hullo back.!! But I still think we'll have Carlos next season, he is level headed and knows that he will win things with us and play in europe every season. The longer he goes unnotcied by Spain is Rangers gain.
-
Have to agree Craig on both points. Thats 2 clubs he has had an attitude problem at, if he doesnt sort himself out he will get a kick up the backside when he least expects it. He does need to mature a bit but is still a talent, he just hasnt done it for them this season.
-
Barca assistant and former player Guadiola is getting the job. Strange one, i thought they would go for a top name.
-
Jose seems favourite to take over at Inter Milan
-
Yep fully agree Calscot, especially on Boyd. Against Hibs last Sunday I was actually shouting for him to get on as he looked fresh but last night reminded why Im one of his critics, he is just not a 'footballer' at all. He cant offer anything to his team mates when he gets the ball at his feet. I also think the strikers are a little off form but they arent getting service at all from midfield. K Thomson does all the dirty work but isnt a creator and Ferguson has been off the boil for weeks. He got a much needed goal last night and Im hoping thats his spur to get us over the finishing lines. S Davis isnt giving us those good runs and passes that he did in his first 5 matches. I think when certain individuals are tired it makes others struggle aswell. But its still a results business at this stage and if we win all our remaining games 1-0 in the same fashion as last night then il be happy as we'll be the champions.
-
Yip Carlos for me. Ferguson was a different player once he scored, a goal is exactly what he needed.

Agreed Wij, 18 teams would be the best set up for me. Ok for the first few seasons we may to visit some shitty grounds but giving time these clubs would get bigger and long term they would be able to upgrade. But if you take Clyde, St Johnstone, Dunfermline, Partick, Livingston and Dundee and add them to the SPL then we have 18 clubs all with decent enough stadia. Whats also laughable is the other clubs challenging for 3rd place this season. One minute they want us to do well and perform at our best then the next they want us to fail. For eg, we did Aberdeen (and DUFC & Hibs) a big favour last night by beating Motherwell and they expect us to do the same on Saturday by beating Dundee Utd while they can beat Motherwell and go level on points with them in the fight for 3rd place. Yet they would gladly like us to postpone the UTD game so we are more at full strength when it comes to the last game against them they will want us so be running on empty. :moon: To the lot of them.
-
Yip he was certainly passionate about the 4 minutes, I have to say I wondered where the ref got that from aswell. Ally was class all night when the cameras showed him, booting the ball before it was out must have been a natural instinct
-
Yip thought that on the TV aswell. 2 reasons for me - 1) The togetherness due to the schedule and 2) I think a nice summery evening had something to with it. Surely its a shout for moving football to the summer - isnt it much better going to a game on a nice evening with a T-shirt on rather than freezing your balls off in the winter??
-
Chick Young is spot on on this matter also:
-
Good to see McGeady not getting this from the writers. And well done to McFadden , his Scotland displays warrrant that.
-
Well said Dod He's hit the nail on the head by saying we're being punished for success
-
YOu didnt get 2 by any chance and therefore fancy selling me one???
