Lets screw Man Utd from winning the title again! We won there last season, can we do it again Steve Bruce and Wigan will lie down last game of the season so hopefully the Hammers go up and get at least a draw.
-
Yip, McFadden has been lively. Good game at Sunderland v Boro, 2-1 at half time. West Ham 2-2 Newcastle, Hammers 2-0 up aswell. Martins goal was good though.

We'll stick you in the hall of fame at the same time :moon:

I'll second that - fantastic game!! I hope its the same when they meet in the CL final
-
You want us to make this a sticky SA?
-
Away to watch this now and il have Spurs v Bolton on the other TV to keep an eye on that. Should be a good game, Liverpool have a decent team out bar there centre midfield.

Chelsea were crusing until Carvalho made that mistake. Iknew Chelsea would get 1 more chance and they did. Not sure if it was a pen, havent really seen the replay. Makes the last 2 weeks very interesting. Im annoyed with the bets. Before the game I picked out 1-0, 2-0 and 2-1 Chelsea and said I'll stick a tenner on 2 of them scores! What score did I not put on - Yip, 2-1 :uzi:

Chelsea have been superb in the first half and well deserve the lead. Hope they continue in the 2nd but I see Ronaldo being unleashed from the bench soon.

Euro 08 is a good consolation for the footy season being over but it will be depressing until August. Im just going to go away on a few weekend long trips that I want to do but always put off.

Ive been to quite a few intimidating grounds for a fans point of view. Leicester's old Filbert St was the worst. Old Trafford was actually quite scary.
-
I was surprised at the amount aswell. Seemed to be a bigger section than for normal away fans. Good to see! I always like to see a healthy away support.
-
Im looking forward to this game tomorrow. Firstly, thoughts go out to Frank Lampard for the terrible news of losing his mum yesterday. Both teams are in the middle of CL semi finals and both got away draws. I cant see either side making to much changes but Chelsea have to come and try to win the game while Man Utd would be delighted with a draw. Im going for a home win to put both teams on the same points with 2 games to go.

I think Whittaker will move to RM to help Broadfoot mark McGeady again with Novo starting on the left. Agree with Calscot that there could be a shout to move Papac in the centre of defence and bring S Smith in at LB. This would allow Dailly to play centre midfield with Ferguson and Davis. Novo (left) and Whittaker (right) would complete the 5 man midfield. Someone above asked why Novo should start - simply becuase we should have more of a go at Celtic this time rather than be defensive and invite them onto us. For me the team would be: __________________Alexander_________________ Whittaker____Weir___________Dailly________Papac _______Davis_______Ferguson_____Hemdani______ ____Novo__________Darcheville________Buffel____ But I think WS will go with: ____________________Alexander___________________ Broadfoot______Weir___________Dailly_________Papac __________Davis______Ferguson_____Hemdani_______ __Whittaker______________________________Novo___ ____________________Darcheville_________________

...Another OF game comes up! Anyone wishing to do a preview feel free, but we can begin chat here. Ferguson being back after a 10 day break will be a huge lift, but Carlos is going to be a massive loss. Its likely BF will take over Daillys place with Dailly moving to centre half. Id be tempted to play Buffel from the start in place of Hemdani who is struggling. But we have to remember BH has played more good games for us than bad, we should back him in this poor spell. One thing is for sure - Novo HAS to start.
-
Sad news for the Lampard and Redknapp families especially when she seemed to be making a recovery hence him playing against Liverpool. I hope Chelsea go on and win on Saturday for him now.
-
I felt a tactical change could have been done when Buffel and Cousin came on. Id have kept Novo on and took Broadfoot off with moving Whittaker to RB. That would have allowed Buffel and Cousin an extra man helping them win the ball. Both sets of strikers (JCD and Novo / Buffel and Cousin) were up against it and had no real service from the midfield. By the way Papac is still a dead ringer for Alex Higgings

Funny this thread started, I thought I saw Frankie towards the end sitting next to a guy in a stripped jumper who was shouting 'C'mon Rangers' - which was you SA!!! At least now we all know your not the real Super Ally!! I admire your passion mate

There should be give and take just like when we cancelled our game for Scotland to prepare for the Italy match and when the SPL cancelled us for our Lyon match. Now this will lead to clubs being stubborn in the future. Its disgusting the fact the governing bodies cant support one of there teams and do all they can to help them in Europe. They have messed up yet again. They need to revamp the scottish game with more top flight teams and less SPL fixtures, that will help there irrelevant international friendlies, and they also need to put the Legaue cup back the first half of the season.

Gers are just short of the 2/1 mark - 15/8 or 7/4 depending on the bookie. Good odds for a out right win. 1-0 win is 5/1 2-0 win is 11/1 2-1 win is 9/1 0-0 and 1-1 are both 5/1 Also first goalscorer: Darcheville 6/1 Cousin and Boyd 7/1 Novo 8/1 Buffel 10/1 Whittaker and Davis 16/1 And I like Dailly at 25/1 I might go with 2-1 Rangers and have a seperate bet on Novo and Dailly.

Agreed if Brum go down we should go get McFadden first! But if anyone could sort O Connors attitude out then its Walter.
