Coming from Aberdeen Id obviously like to see Cove Rangers get in. If Dundee can have 2 teams then so could Aberdeen. Id love to see a rivalry there. But Cove are no way near big enough yet.

Id have been happy to let Sebo stay and try again ahead of Miller. Sebo and Boyd upfront may have worked as Sebo would have done all his running. However I still think for 1.2 million Millers wouldnt be the worst buy in the world, I just dont see the point in selling Sebo and paying 1.9 for Miller. - As Juff says really. I think Miller is a decent player but would rather that money spent on a creative midfielder first. Another thing about Miller - its the fact of who he is that is putting so many people down.

Inside left midfield would be perfect. __________Ferguson______Thomson________Riise______________ ____Novo_________________Boyd________________Beasley_____

I'll have a good read of that tomorrow morning with my coffee before departing for the aeroporto

Arsenal have had a bid accepted aswell. I wonder if they have seen him play or just bidded for him coz he is 17.

It totally depends on the person, everyone will be different. In some cases some people will see similar people but at the same time being in nice surroundings may open a mind up and appreciate the beauty of the planet in cases. Its all about how fragile that person is and how they react to the situation. Gazza is very fragile and I think a nicer place would do more for him. He has been there before but it was more like a holiday for him, this time he should be made to wake up and I think waking up in a nicer rehab place than a normal hospital would help Gazza.

I must have missed this about the stadium - are they getting Parkhead done up for games??

I think we need to stop gambling with promising but unproved SPL players and start signing genuine quality. People go on about playing scottish players but we have enough already. There is also the thing about not getting geniune quality for cheap prices but then players like Cuellar, Benni McCarthy, Cousin (to an extent), Jimmy Bullard etc etc have all went for cheap transfer fees.

Riise would be a great signing but really cant see that. There will be plenty of Premier League clubs after him and willing to give him 30-40k a week. Agree with Mike on McGregor. He would be a huge loss. He is the most improved player in the squad. I for 1 didnt want him as our first choice keeper over a year ago but I was happy to eat humble pie this year. Alexander is a good back up at best but not what we need as our keeper. Would anyone take 9 million for McGregor if we could replace him with Craig Gordon for 7 million?? I know the chances of that happening are ultra slim as Murray would never give the funds directly back. But its an interesting question. Personally I prefer McGregor on this seasons form to Gordon.

Hopefully Wolves get Lafferty. If we spent a few million (4 reported) on him plus the 1.6-1.9 reported on Miller then that is a total waste of money.

I dont agree he should go to a proper psych hospital. He is a nervous wreck and the sight of a normal hospital can cause panic attacks and depression which means he will end up worse and check himself out. A lot of normal people dont like dentists and the sight of them makes them cringe. He should be in nice surroundings but made to stay for a lengthy time.

Totally agree, Charlie Adam should be about 4th choice for the LM position and i wouldnt consider him for a central role at all.
-
I dont think we over play celtic, I still get excited for any OF game. We went 6 months without playing them last season. Anyway, a Glasgow tournament doesnt have to involve a OF game, it could just invite a few teams up for the weekend with Rangers playing Liverpool while Celtic play Barca then vice versa.

Im hoping Whittaker gets a run at RB but cant see it. I think he will be in WS plans as a midfielder next season and cover for full back.

Nobody seems to be helping the guy. He needs kept in a rehab place in the middle of nowhere to dry and straighten him out, then someone somewhere in football needs to give him a role whether it be TV, radio, scouting coaching. His sister pleaded yesterday for people not to buy him drinks when they meet him. Its a shame but he seems to be getting worse. Im pleading he gets better, he has so much to offer the game in some role.

2nd worst kept secret in football. What is it with teams sacking managers who do well these days?? Mancini was sacked but didnt he also say he would leave at the end of the season? Bizarre. I can see Lampard and Drogba being on there way to San Siro
-
It looks like Spartans but thats a joke aswell. This is a great opportunity to reduce the number of clubs in Scotland but the SFA will take in another. Clubs in the lower leagues cant get more that 400 fans a game, its time for teams to merge. Spartans should be looking to merge with the biggest club nearest to them.

Only interested party pull out!! Bye bye! What a mess! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/south_of_scotland/7430745.stm

Isnt that a depressing read!!! Jonathon Greening isnt quality that we are looking for. We can add the 1 million for Sebo to the list so we're pretty much break even for the season. I bet Murray is rubbing his hands at the thought of Spurs coming in with 7 million for McGregor! 1.9 million for Miller is disappointing - id pay 1 million max! And to spend the 3 million from Cousin on Davis isnt like a new player. At this rate we are doing to be screaming out for central midfielders again.

It will depend if Hughes is in the running to suceed Sir Awex. Man City would be a good chance test Hughes as he would have a bigger budget and with no dis-respect to Blackburn they are only ever going to be a club who can get 7th whilst Man City have the resources to potentially get into the top 5. Hughes is a good manager but it is slightly confusing to let a quality/proven manager go and replace him with someone who is no more than promising and one for the future. Sven has the better CV.

Aye, it looks like the security guys are taking them for themselves. Did you see the 2nd one being taking off, the guy points to her them him as if to say "Shes mine"

I wonder why its a common trend for players to begin well then go down hill drastically - Hemdani, Davis, McCulloch to name a few.......... Do they just get into a comfort zone at Ibrox or something??
