37, so Davie Weir just misses out U23 id say
  2. Julian Faubert - He has barely played. Id say he has had about 8 appearances since his injury. He is not near match fit and looked off the pace when he played. He's got some nice touches and is a strong looking player but he cant be judged until he has had a good run in the team. I think there is the basis of a good side there with Etherington on 1 side (very underrated player), Faubert on the right then Parker, Bowyer and Dyer in the middle behind Bellamy and Ashton. Plus Nobby Solano has shown a lot of class whenever he has played so id keep him for another year and Noble and Mullins also. Id sell Ljungberg - he has really struggled. We still have Quashie to come back aswell - so the squad is massive. Hayden Mullins and Matty Etherington are 2 of the most under rated players in the league. They would be 2 great signings for Rangers.
  3. Well wish I was over there. Id have made a week of it
  4. Preferred him over Zamora. Harewood used to bust a gut and get a few goals. I like Zamora especially towards the end of last season when he was giving his all. He isnt a bad striker when playing Bellamy. I think he would score for fun in the SPL and would like Rangers to get Bobby.
  5. I'll beinterested to see who Wenger goes for. Id like to see Henry go back there with a new attitude that he isnt the main man. Im hoping he keeps Hleb. Once he gets Fabregas, Hleb, Rosicky and another experienced player in there they could be unstoppable. Add a fully fit Van Persie upfront to Walcott (who is coming on nicely) and Adebyeor then I'll be tipping the Goons for the title next year. They seriously need a world class keeper and centre half though.
  6. Gav why didnt you plan on going down Tuesday? Id have definatly gone down then and came back thurs/fri
  7. I heard this yesterday Pete and I havent heard of him at all. Your always better with the devil you know and unless Curbs was to be replaced with a big named manager then im happy for him to continue into the next 8 games of next season. Next season will be a big test for him, he will have a fully fit squad and there is no excuses.
  8. Aye, I knew it began with a 'B'
  9. How did you know we were going to Manchester years ago when you were at school?
  10. Is Benzema that full back from Porto? Chelsea have just signed him for 16.2 million but a pundit has said Ferrera (sp) is better :fish:
  11. BTW Ascender, Im available to accept any Old Firm Derby tickets you get next season
  12. I wonder what the odds were on that per season! I bet some lucky buggar has put on doubles every season but I bet he is kicking himself for not having an accumulator for 7 years!! I wouldnt bet against Arsenal next season. They only finished 4 points off the top this season and that was after throwing away leads against Man Utd and Chelsea despite being thr better team, then throwing away games in March and April v Liverpool, Wigan, Birmingham and Middlesboro. The Villa game cant count as it was them who were lucky to nick a point. But if Eduardo hadnt got that injury then I really believe we would be congratulating Arsenal as Champions today.
  13. So shall we change it back and start calling them it again?? They wouldnt have a darn clue what was going on But Its never bothered me and when people do call me a Hun its them I laugh at for being uneducated and just following the next person for saying it. I have to say most educated people I know who dont support Rangers have always just called me a bluenose.
  14. You got a tune for that one Pete??
  15. Hi-Dee-Hi Ho-dee-Ho, go go go to the holiday rock!! Morning Campers!!!
  16. Deery me!! Thats wierd!! C'mon the Arsenal and Valencia next year
  17. What stands they opening up? I hope its enough, it would be a shame if a few thousand extra turned up!
  18. Where does it say 25,000 only? Im assuming the whole stadium would be open? Have to say that would be my preferred option if I didnt have a ticket and I was in UK. That would easy be the next best thing - sitting in a stadium full of 1000s of Bears singing etc.
  19. And Boston is a wee bit further south than them in Lincolnshire
  20. I would agree with a boycott so long as it was for all away games. It wouldnt be because of Levein's outburst (I can still understand his rage TBH), but it would be more to prove a point that hating Rangers and being anti Rangers will cost them. Its also 2 fingers to those who wanted us to go through this fixture pile up.

    Cousin

Id love to see us go for McFadden. Mikel Forrsell maybe a decent shout for a striker aswell to replace Cousin.
  22. Try GNER, they run a train from Aberdeen to London everyday. Takes just under 7 hours. Leaves Aberdeen at 9am and will get to Edinburgh approx lunch time then it stops at York, Hull, Doncaster and Peterborough. Ive taken it a few times and im sure you could then take local rail from one of the stations to Manchester via another place or 2.

    Kevin Thomson

I think he was always going to make - good news none the less, we really need his grit in the middle of the park.
  24. Take another train route down the east coast then get a train to Manchester from York or Hull etc
  25. Agreed, we've been poor since the turn of the year - or more to the point since Etherington and Bellamy got injured and possibly Bowyer. We have far too many luxury players and Curbs needs a bit of a clear out. Ljungberg has been awful and should leave. Faubert hasnt impressed since coming back from injury but we'll have to give him the benefit of the doubt. Lucan Neill is a bombscare and on 70k a week!! I cant work that out. Zamora can go, he is a bit of dead wood now. Id rather have kept Harewood. We have the basis of a great team but just need some better players. Robert Green should be given a long term deal to stay. I'll be interested to see Dyer when he is fit again. He and Bellamy could be exactly what we have lacked recently. Big shake up needed at Upton Park in the summer. If progression is not made next season then there could be heads to roll.
