In that case I wouldnt be on the list - Fast, fit, creative

Wasnt caring who got through but I said at the start of the group than Turkey and Portugal would go through

Im with Calscot and Craig on this. Miller hasnt even kicked a ball yet and is pre judged. Anyone who wants Smith out needs a bit of a reality check going back 16 months. He may not be in Arsene Wengers league of style of play but he certainly picked us up and we are actually on schedule to get where we want to be again. Last season his over achieving put people on a bandwagon to get him out. But when you think about it the target was actually to just challenge again. It is this seaosn coming where he HAS to deliver the league title, so my reservations on WS will be made at the end of this coming season.

This is where the Scottish league has to start becoming stronger aswell. We need to reduce the amount of league games and have an bigger top flight of 16-18 teams playing twice. The 3rd division should also be scrapped then teams would be more ambitious. And teams should just merge! But what are the SFA, SFL doing right now!! - Going round looking for another minor to join the league! If footballers only get 4 weeks off in the year then so be it! The normal worker gets the same yet not as much wages.

Pete, you've lost me with that post

True, plus Im also wondering what our midfield is going to look like next. This signing puts Furman down 1 in the pecking order. Ferguson is banker starter and Id say Thomson is also. If Davis signs I can see him playing aswell but on the right.

Is Gomis a creative player?
-
Your perfectly entitled to your wishes but then reality comes into it here and he is back - chosen by th club manager so if he is unaccepted from day 1 then we are onto a losing start straight away - and this season is very important, we HAVE to win the league this season. If not WS will take the blame and probably move on. But for anyone to wish a horrible injury to one of our own players is a disgrace and is socially backwards IMO. I wouldnt wish that on any opposition player never mind our own. EDIT: And every Gers fan wants the best for the club, but we are in a era where that isnt possible anymore. We are no longer able to go out and sign a 5 million pound player never mind the best who are going for around 30 million. Until Scottish football gets itself sorted out or a Atlantic league is former or we get mass investment we just have to accept we wont be signing the best. However in saying that there should still be bargains around europe, but that comes down to scouting and the organisation of the club. But non of this is Kenny Millers fault.

What Does Resigning Kenny Miller Really Say About Rangers?
Gribz replied to CammyF's topic in Rangers Chat
First thing ive already stated I dont think Miller will be a bad signing, just not prolific. But its everything else behind the signing thats made this into a big issue. The main thing about Cammys post is something Cammy and I have agreed on since Ive been on this forum - signing run of the mill players from other SPL clubs. IMO we have a fair sized squad now with the majority being good squad players but we need no more signings just to be fringe players - that means no more Alan Gow's or Broadfoots. We need signings who are to go straight into the first XI. I also wish we would stop going for vertasile players like Lafferty. We already have numerous players who can play in a few positions. Its players like this who can never set into 1 role so they get shifted round and dont get consistancy.- 10 replies

What is with this Lafferty interest!! If he was that good Im sure bigger clubs than Wolves would be looking at him. Never seen Gomis play but he is at another run of the mill SPL club and im already fed up being linked with them. Thomson, Cuellar, McGregor and Darcheville are all current starters in my XI, so to read they can all possibly move out is depressing. JCD is the only one id let go for the money.

How on earth can that be post of the day?? Thats worst post of the month for me. This shows the backward minded part of our support who will keep the club in victorian days. There is booing a player then there is wishing a multiple fracture on a player! Wouldnt a multiple fracture be a disadvantage for the club your supposed to support??? I hope Miller proves stupidity like this wrong.

Totally agree Craig. The badge pumping for me is irrelivent, in fact it shows he cared about scoring for his club at the time, but some are taking it as if he was giving us the big middle finger. Also, the OF dont accept players crossing the devide due to pettyness and its against the norm. The sooner more players start to cross the divide the more people wont give a toss. Id be happy if we went in to get Scott Brown from them - direct.

Looks like Velicka will sign this week, he has been given permission to talk. But i thought he couldnt sign for us due to already playing for 2 teams. Anyway, we are going to have quite a few strikers with Miller, Velicka, Darcheville, Boyd, Novo and McCulloch able to play there. I think Smith may be playing this safe by signing strikers first then moving on a few - I can see Boyd going to raise a few million.

The one main difference with the Dutch this year is they have Harmony in the squad. For years the team didnt get on with each other but you can see its different this time round when they scored the other night. Hopefully a blazing row kicks in when they are due to play Scotland.
-
Holland may look at it like they want to go through the tournament unbeaten so still may go out and try against Romania. But on the other hand they are through and cant be moved from the top spot so they should be concentrating on the next round. They have a squad of 23 and games like this are when to use the squad. France v Italy should be a good game but they will both need a favour from Holland. But I can see France v Italy being a draw which would send Romania through. I wish i had bet on my prediction at the start.

Spain's loss is Rangers gain. Obviously Carlos would like to play for his country but with him getting a full summer of rest he will be back in tip top condition for next season. It was the same with Klos and Albertz - both should have been in the German team at the time but didnt due to playing in the SPL.

Amato is a good shout, he was superbly skillful

Agree with Jon here, and the worst thing for Miller will be everyone writing him off before he has started - that may make him fail. At least if fans are behind him he may do better. I dont mind him as a player at all and I really think some fans are just seeing the fact he played for celtic and kissed the badge rather than anything else. So what -! I bet he will have an orgasm if he scores against them this season!
-
Agree Calscot, except I dont think he is a bad signing. We could have got much better and i think the money is a bit over odds but I still think for Scotland he has done well. He gets my full support and those who boo him are well out of order.
-
I used to be on the refs side but in scotland they have become a farce. Yes its a difficult job and if they get certain decisions wrong then fair enough, but they now blow there whistle at every little thing which is annoying

I like that. The last 2 kits we've had have been crap. We havent had a good kit since 2005/06.

You want me to be correct or you want Holland and Romania to go thru?
