  1. Thats a good move. He will be more of a bit part player but he will be a great person to have on the bench. He may even push for a starting role depending on who comes in.

    Stadium changes

Rangers fans stand at a few away games anyway - Ive always stood at Pittodrie and Tannadice anyway!
  3. Only caught the 2nd half but good stuff by the Dutch. Couple of great saves from Van Der Saar just before the 3rd. It makes Italys next 2 games interesting - they will have to come out and attack.
  4. I was going to say it has been bizarre, but its truly Rangers fashion coming to think of it. He just needs to get fit first and then we will have a very decent centre half. Who is this Reynolds guy? Is he the next Broadfoot?
  5. Biggest point there is we have to prevent 4 in a row! - No excuses next season at all unless Celtic are invested hugely with world class players - which is pretty darn unlikely. I still think man for man we are better and stronger. I think Miller will still be a decent signing, again not the best possible but certainly not the worst.
  6. Agree with most of that. The other thing id add was when he was handed back the captaincy it stank of favouritism and made him bigger than he was.
  7. The SFA arent to blame - they arent a well ran organisation either but if they did offer to move the Cup final then its the SPL we need to blame. Taking Scotland players away also harms the individual. Im sure the Scottish lads want to play for their country. I still think boycotting away fixtures next season would be an ok thing along with giving the middle finger to the SPL next time the ask a favour.
  8. I think we need a bit of muscle in the centre midfield. Thomson gets about but his frame is of average height. If we could get a powerhouse like Albertz was to boss the midfield about then it would set us on our way. Lee McCulloch's physical strength has been good in certain games, but a more consistant player in the centre would be good. But we still need a skillful player in there aswell.
  9. Pete, there was no need for the first post - you put everything in the title of the thread But I couldnt much about the player, ive never seen him play or that i can remember.
  10. First huge match of the tournament tonight that il be watching. Havent seen any of the open games so far bar a wee bit of Austria v Croatia last night. Looking forward to it tonight though! C'mon the Dutch!
  11. LOL, Juff do you just sit and watch goals all day??
  12. Me winning 4 awards is not over and done with!!! :uzi:
  13. Cracking post actually!! Its probably the most pointless and boring thing!!
  14. Good to see. BTW where has the Gersnet awards gone??? Ive got 4 awards to report for
  15. He's just a wee poser. He had a bit of potential but hasnt shown it much. He should have done the easy thing and looked at the master infront of him - Ryan Giggs and got his head down.

    Hutton

Total mistake letting him go, I think 99% of the fans would have wanted him to stay on. Some feared for an injury meaning the club would miss out on the fee but screw that. If Hutton had stayed and McGregor not got injured Im convinced we'd be celebrating at least the treble.
  17. And that was the day after i told you, but I said to use your other foot - fair play to you Juff for switching
  18. Where have you been then? Thats been on here a good few times. I never tire of watching it though, certainly would be in my top 5 favourite goals of all time, you dont get much better than that.
  19. Im gonna stick with my impressive team for the first round: Alexandre Ricardo Rudi Skacel Ricardo Carvalho Carles Puyol Johan Djourou Freddie Ljungberg Michael Ballack Cristiano Ronaldo Thierry Henry Adrian Mutu Jan Koller
  20. This could get interesting! Sir Awex has made his way over to Austria to see him. I wonder if he will make him sit in the stands
  21. Cheers for that! Do you know how tempted I was to delete your post!!! It would be interesting to see who wins if we all kept the same team. I cant see me going on every day to make 3 changes
  22. Ok, so who will qualify from this group?: France Holland Italy Romania Im going to stick my neck out and say Holland and Romania
  23. Im looking forward to it bar the shity kick off times for me. But there are some cracking group games for once no more so than Italy, France and Holland. Im just about to have a look at the odds and decide my bet. Im tempted with Russia each way at 28/1.
  24. Agreed, he was better on the left for me aswell. He seemed to play n the right more for Denmark. But his role was simply to play where he wanted, right left or middle. Even when he started making his runs from the centre circle he would still be awesome.
  25. I totally agree with the first paragraph and agree with the last also that Id rather the 2 million went on a better player even if it meant spending 5 million on that player who break down a defence. But as for his ability I still dont think its the worst signing. WS got the best out of him for Scotland and is likely to do the same here. He isnt a world beater and I can think of far more players which would be better but I can think of a lot worse aswell. He will certainly get the benefit of the doubt from me until I see him play a good few games. I just hope he doesnt get booed.
