  1. Another good game on the cards tonight with Wigan playing Everton. With the league being so close you can jump about 5 places with a win. I dont want Everton to pull away in 6th place but the relegation battle is going to be close this year so mabe its best if Wigan start losing more. At this monent Id only say West Brom will go down, after that its 2 from a lisy of teams.
  2. Its at Anfield i think. So may have a handicap wager giving West Ham a goal head start or something long that lines
  3. TBH mate i only saw the first 25 mins as i fell asleep...this extra hour time difference when the clocks change buggars up the footy a bit. The goal did take a big deflection though. And yet again the Hammers did play some good football. As I said yesterday this is a good thing that we could take off on a winning run..or it could be a bad thing as what happens if we start to play bad. Liverpool next week - banker 3 points for the Hammers again though :box:

    Aaron

Its not the first time though mate. Just need to mention Alan Gow!!
  5. I see what your saying Jon, some players can adjust later in career or can play there at anytime - Rio Ferdinand is a great finisher. But this is a new thing for McCulloch which he only tried in training recently when he was in the cold due to being in the poorest form of his life, yet all of a sudden he has jumped the pecking order in defence ahead of experienced players (Papac, Broadfoot, Hemdani, Edu, Dailly) and the youngsters etc Edu can play RB and centre half which could allow Broadfoot to play CH or even LB and put Papac in the centre....plenty options
  6. For a hobby then a billionaire may come to Scotland, but the challenge would be to buy the likes of Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen or Dundee Utd to make them challenge the OF - just like RA did for Chelsea breaking into Arsenal and Man Utd domination. For a crack at europe then the OF would be appealing. IF there was an atlantic league or the OF joined the Premier league then the OF would be snapped up quicker than anyone else IMO.
  7. I am struggling to imagine him being good when at PSV. I watched him again last night for Spurs and he had 2 clangers in the first 20 mins which Woodgate luckily cleared up for him. He has had 9 absolute fluffs which has resulted in 5 goals this season.
  8. Ok McCulloch is doing ok there after 2 games, but FFS why would it enter WS head to play him there in the first place ahead of players who have played there regularly. I agree with above, it is a receipe for disaster and it could be costly. This season is all about winning the league yet Lee McCulloch is playing Centre Half for us - you couldnt make it up!
  9. Get in the Hammers...about time we won. I stuck a cheeky tenner on a 1-0 win aswell at 8/1

    Aaron

Said it since day 1 when Aaron arrived that i dont expect to see him get a game due his age, even though there was huge hype when he came. It may be his is playing poor in training or the reserves but surely he should get a chance. He may be more suited to first team games on the bigger pitches etc. Is it Valencia he is on loan from? Surely they have to say something about it aswell. If he is any worse than Adam then why on earth did we take him in the first place.
  11. Really cant see this. If Harry comes in for anyone then I can only see it being McGregor.
  12. Havent seen it yet, highlights on soon. BUt they were speaking about it on talksport a lot earlier and they all said it was a Pen
  13. Strachan even said it should have been a red.
  14. I always look at management as 2 - the assistant is as important for me. IF and big IF Ally got the job, whoever was his No.2 would be important. It would be a risk and like a few others id always prefer a big proven name, but I do see Ally as manager one day and I hope he is successful.
  15. West Ham are in free fall at the moment and I do fear for us. But we arent playing back football which is concerning aswell in a way. What happens when we start to play bad!!!! We outplayed Hull, Everton and Portsmouth yet only picked up 1 point from 3 games. But maybe this good play will also click and start to win games. West Ham arent a sacking club but if Zola doesnt start to win games id punt him. He was a risk and untried at management - never mind the Premier League. Quite looking forward to Spurs v Blackburn today - 2 sides i dont like much but its 19th v 18th so a lot to play for.
  16. Dont hold back there Gisabeer Have to agree though, ive never rated Adam and wouldnt let him near the starting line up ahead of certain other players. Even off the park he is embarrassing, i remember his last interview when he was picking his nose throughout. We have big numbers in the squad yet we are still struggling with consistancy on the left midfield/wing.
  17. You wont see many days in the season when the top 6 dont win. Bit of a freak day really. Man U will be kicking themselves after the others played first, but Villa are getting better and better. Liverpool finally got what they deserved - a 0-0 with one of the poorer teams. Going by yesterdays results il back Wigan and West Ham today
  18. Bastard Boruc. He just hacked a St mirren striker outside the box and it was a total straight red yet he only got a yellow.
  19. Boruc just assulted a St Mirren striker outside the box giving him a kick like Schmacher did in the 1982 world cup yet only got a yellow card. It was 2 straight reds
  20. Maybe the Gallas thing isnt reverse psychology Wenger should field the youngsters and they will batter Man City
  21. TBH numbers wise we are ok. We really only need a full back depending on S Smith. Next season we need a long term partner for Bougherra - now whether papac or Broadfoot can step up to that is another question. If Broadfoot moves to centre then we need a RB as cover for Whittaker and if Papac moved to CH then we would need another LB.

    Predictions

I went for 3-0 aswell but il go 1 extra. Rangers 4-0 Aberdeen Davis, Miller, Boyd, Ferguson
  23. Its reverse psychology from Wenger, they will come out and blaze Man City
  24. Not a pop, just a fact thay they will remain lucky
  25. Get your coupons on with my accurate tips, il take 10% of your winnings  Aston Villa 1-1 Man Utd Chelsea 3-0 Newcastle Liverpool 2 lucky goals - 0 Fulham Man City 1-2 Arsenal Middlesboro 2-1 Bolton Portsmouth 1-0 Hull Stoke 1-0 West Brom Sunday: Tottenham 2-0 Blackburn Sunderland 0-0 West Ham Monday: Wigan 1-1 Everton
