Brown has really went downhill in last 6-8 months...he wants to play for Rangers!!! Fletcher is over rated anyway and probably needs Ferguson in there. BF gets stick for his poor gers performances but he is still head and shoulders (i dont have dandruff) above them
-
1-0 Macedonia. I got to look at BBC text to get scores Burleys reign has started poorly..no wins from 3 in friendlies then this start. Macedonia arent a push over but the way we played under WS we would have went there and probably been favourties. As such i wouldnt have bet on us today

I was 2 players out. Broadfoot and Maloney for Robson and Alexander. Anyone got a link??? I dont get anything on tv here when its on the joke of BBC

What a weak squad. As i said without Ferguson and Hutton we look light. Why is Kevin Thomson not in the squad??? We were on the up last campaign but this squad reminds me of Vogts times. For me, its really tough between Gordon and McGregor, Gordon is our No.1 but Mcgregor last season should have taken over. But both are about same at moment and Gordon should probably keep him place. Broadfoot is our only option at RB out the squad - shocking! __________________Gordon_________________ Broadfoot____Caldwell_____McManus____Naysmith Brown______Fletcher_______Hartley_____Maloney _____________Miller_____McFadden____________

He does pronounce a lot of his words like Sir Awex

I think a win is possible but i wont put money on it. With Hutton and Ferguson out it makes the line up weak looking. Is McCulloch in the squad? I know he has been gash for us but his physical pressance in this game could be important.

Disagree, it wasnt just coz football that got him in a mess, there are millions of alcoholics who dont play football. The money and fame side of it played its part. He cant move away from Uk, that would make him worse to go on benders, he has tried the US for rehab and his move to china was a nightmare. He needs home with close ones who actually need to take care of him for once....someone should gove him a job teaching U19s

There is talk of Redknapp coming back on talksport earlier due to funds running out at Pompey, cant see this myself. A few others have been mentioned aswell - Strachan, houllier, Allardyce and Michael Laudrup, but i think the club will go for an Italian because 1 of the directors is italian and has linked up with Milan for off the field training etc. Id like Donadoni or Mancini TBH - 50/50 or Laudrup. As for Newcastle, Moyes, Deschamp and Laudrup are the front runners

What i meant is i wouldnt be one of those buying drinks despite the fact id love to have a drinking session with him. I think he needs help from inside the game and people he can relate to, if he has ex pro's where he enjoyed good times with helping him out then i think it would help him. I dont think his problem is so much the urge for drink but its more to avoid depression and he enjoys the bender and what he gets up to.

I wonder who the bookies are paying out on for the first manager to leave their post this season. Keegan was announced first but then officially it was Curbs as Keegan seemed to have talks for a day. Beattie, is this a Stewards enquiry??? As for the West Ham situation, I feel a bit for Curbs. He just never got a good grip on things or was consistant. But he was on an upward trend, save d the club 2 seasons ago then a mid table finish last season with no fewer than 12 key players out the whole season. This year we have won 3 games out of 4 and scored 10 goals at home in 3 games, ok we needed ET to beat Macclesfield but we still came good. I like Curbs and im sure he will get another job, but he was never going to take the club to a top 5 finish, top 8 was his peak IMO. As for who gets the job, i dont think Bilic will take it. Front runners are Mancini, Donadoni and Di Canio. Id take 1 of the first 2 but not Di Canio. He was a great player but he isnt proved at management level yet.

There is enough Poles in Scotland now to easily pick up on how to say it, our grandchildren will probably talking Polish for there first language
-
I barely recognised him the first picture and I really fear for him long term. I see quite a lot of people like ex pro's wishing him well but i dont see anyone taking him aside and sorting him out. If i had the chance to do that then i would straight away. He does need to sort himself out but he is one of these people who needs others to do it with/for him.

I was kind of happy when Burley got the Scotland job, but ive never wanted him at Rangers. His first few games in charge of the national team havent been enouraging and he seems to be handing out caps like Berti Vogts did The proof is in the pudding and he will be judged on the WC campaign though
-
Congratulations for Kirk getting called up but IMO he is nowhere near good enough to be a international. This just shows how bad Scotlands options are. I do admit Broadfoots performances this season have been better but its only a few games into the season

A striker Di Michello or something like that and a left back. We need a LB after selling McCartney to Sunderland.
-
Agree with Gav, the guy Ashley doesnt have a clue what he is doing. They probably want to force him to quit so they dont have to pay a big payoff fee.
-
BBC say he left, Sky saying he has been sacked. Must be a nightmare for a manager with this director of football thing coming in buying players for you. Cant blame Keegan if this is the case. Wise is the favourite to take over.
-
Remember the name but cant remember him as a player. Shame to go so young. RIP
-
That place is a soap opera. Im not surprised one bit, i said it the other day to someone that i wouldnt be surprised if Keegan left soon.
-
We should maybe look at giving Hemdani a run next to Bougherra seen as we havent sold him. Technically he is as good as anyone in the squad and he cant be any slower than Weir. With the options in midfield Hemdani would be perfect to 'play' the ball out of defence into the likes of Thomson and Mendes.
-
I think it was a fine strike, it was coming to him quickly and he managed to hit it downwards which is a nightmare for keepers.
-
Quite gutted about Cousin, he is a quality striker. He has made the wrong move in going to Hull as they are likely to get relegated. All i can say to Cousin is thanks for Sunday - a truly awesome performance.
-
Robinho to Man City - cant believe that one. Man City's next game is against Chelsea
-
I hope Cousin stays. No point in a loan move
