Well done Motherwell....thank you

IMO it should be....Mendes should only get dropped if he loses form...so the central midfield slot should be between Ferguson and Thomson. Ive never been a big fan of Thomson but he holds the shirt at the moment so Ferguson should have to oust him first. Ive also been a critic of Ferguson due to his inconsistancy...but i still know if he is on his game then he is top notch! But WS will play 4 central defenders, with 4 central midfielders and 2 strikers. As soon as Aaron signed i said throw the kid in...but i bet he wont be touched - i was shot down saying negative Gribz - Yet its october and ive seen more halloween partys than Aaron. - PLAY THE BOY - id love to see him on the left...If we have Mendes and Ferguson pulling the strings with Davis/Novo on the right then we could be awesome

Welcome to gersnet Chick!! - BTW how many times have people called u a prick???? Hahaha I 90% agree with this westerner And for this game i hope Hibs stuff Hibs and Hearts stuff hearts!!

IMO its 1 down 1 to go. TBH i done want Boyd near a scotland shirt if he has an ego with Burley before anything else. Obviously Burley seems what a lot of us know - Boyd is a shit player! However - disregarding my own thoughts about Pele....Boyd does have a freaky good goalscoring record and he WOULD have been my choice ahead of S Fletcher (Why do people talk about this plum) and Chris OOpaluOOmpa! Boyd maybe a fuckin poor footballer but the players for rangers and can score 2/10 chances....obviously better than them who replaced him. However ive totally lost confidence in Dod Burley...he needs a cape to look like count dracula....we did miss Ferguson, Hutton, Miller and Gribz from that game tho

First of all RIP Eddie Thompson - he was a great servant to Dundee Utd - a chairman who put his own cash in and tried to get as far as he can. I kinda wish they won the cup final last season now for him. But i dont think this game should have been called off. I think this was a perfect chance for 50,000 people - PLUS RANGERS FC - to show there appreciation. Maybe some people would have stood up and thot RFC were good after this!!!
-
I dont think there is much sign of that but he may be happy to collect the wages - its not a bad wage is it!!! But a few people say Ferguson suffers from a lack of quality in the squad, possibly the same could be said for Hemdani last season and who knows - he may flourish next to Mendes and Davis. To have the likes of Hemdani as a squad player is a nice luxury but if he isnt going to play then surely we have to look at moving him on in January.
-
Thats the thing Ian, yes he has the class inside him but he has to show in most weeks. If he does play to his ability then i dont think there will be much Rangers fan who wouldnt have him in the team - depending who makes way. I wouldnt move Mendes right now at all. Ferguson isnt the creative player we need so for me it would need to be Thomson making way, but thats harsh on KT. I still think he should win his place back as this sends a wrong message out to the squad. However i actually can see Mendes getting shifted out to the right when BF comes back and BF playing in the middle with KT. - I hope not but i can see it happening.

Glad to see Strathclyde police have approved the protest. Liverpool and Newcastle both had protests recently accepted by the police which went smoothly so it would have been embarrassing for SP to turn this down. Good luck with this. For me the BBC are 1 of the main problems with the UK. A mandatory licence if you want to watch TV not including there channels is nothing like a democracy...they are ran by people with a set agenda and its not only Anti Rangers info they report...they were being fed a script on 9/11 and reported the live collapse of WTC7 20 minutes BEFORE it was demolished - absolute disgrace of a corportation.

2nd week in a row where Man Utd have to play one of the big matches away from home. If they lose this then they will be 9 pts behind Chelsea at this stage albeit with a game in hand. But Man U just havent started the season yet so have to get off and running soon. Chelsea are easy favourites for the league. Arsenal have started impressive but Chelsea are stronger in depth. Just listening to talksport and they are talking about if Berbatov, Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo can all play in this game - I think they will with Scholes and Anderson holding to allow those 4 to just hit Chelsea. Should be an absolute bumper of a game as Man U cant afford the defeat. It will make things interesting if Liverpool beat Stoke today and Arsenal go to Bolton and win!! I think Sir Alex HAS to get it right so Im going to have a bet on Man Utd to win

Have to say I wonder why he didnt leave in the summer now. He isnt even in the squad again for tomorrow and WS obviously doesnt rate him. Its a shame as I like Hemdani and think he would do well with Mendes. And with Ferguson due back and already confirmed to 'walk straight back' into the team then Hemdani is further down the pecking order - while picking up 17k a week.

Cotter, BF may have been bossing midfields when he was 22 with the likes of Gio and Albertz in the team but that days are gone. He is now 30 and his form over the past 2 years has been poor. As mentioned above last season he had about 6 good games but about 30 shockers so i cant see what WS is saying. Also WS says he will go back into the team but has to keep it like everyone else - bollocks. it should be the other way round - he has to earn it back. If Mendes makes way il be seriously pissed off. Even if WS pushes Mendes out on the right to put Ferguson and Thomson in the middle il be pissed off. For me Mendes should be the main man now and its up to Thomson, Ferguson and Edu plus possible Davis to battle it out to play next to him. Although Davis can make the Right midfield side his...but i do like Novo there.

Jeez, Juffery was spot on a while back when he said we are craving for full backs. Our worst possibe scenario has happened - Whittaker and Papac are out. 3-5-2 this weekend for me, with Weir, Kirk and Bougherra playing at the back
-
Im afraid thats pure wrong to just throw Ferguson back in the team. He should at least start on the bench. He probably wont even be match fit for 4-6 games. Plus we have a winning formula and are playing better football. For me Mendes is the main man now - something BF needs to get used to, and Thomson is young and has a future ahead of him.

I agree with Johnnyk here (is that a first) that he isnt getting the right/ enough help for those he would LISTEN to. Once he has woken up from the right person, its THEN he can help himself. I think Bobby Robson, Terry Venebles, Sir Awex or possible Walter are a few of the people who could try to speak him round.

Jon's talking out of his ass Craig, it was Jon who sewed it

Yip totally agree with you post. The 4-5-1 can be deadly but we need the wide players to be suited there. Davis isnt suited as the wide right player who can hog the touchline but is better in a 4-4-2 where he doesnt need to be out there all the time. We got it perfect at Parkhead a few weeks ago so I wouldnt tamper too much with the 4-4-2 at the moment. Its all about getting a partnership going upfront. Lafferty and Velicka still need to prove themselves a bit but most are confident they will...especially Lafferty

Thats ok...i maybe thought you had had a bad morning not getting your fulser's in .........actually I thought u would be the first to agree with me regarding Ferguson. But back on point and as Gisabeer says, id rather see Fleck and Aaron play
-
Is that clip sped up?? Its not that bad TBH if thats normal speed
-
He seems to have lost it totally and wants to do himself as much harm as possible. I really fear for him....there is no way his body will cope/last with the physical and mental damage its taking...i can either see the worst possible happening or finally he will wake up and sort himself out. He needs someone he would listen to in the football world to take him by the scruff of the neck and get himself sorted out...i dont think he has it within himself to get help
-
You do realise you've just starved a family for a week you rotten chap you!!!
-
I looked at the results this morning and noticed Watford could have been a coupon buster for someone
-
Where did that come from old man??? Rather than being miserable i was stating a point that id like to see Aaron feature in the first team. As for Burke this guy should have been punted a few years ago...just when the first team is clicking ever so well (which makes me really cheery BTW)...we get the likes of Burke and Ferguson returning which some seem to think is fantastic. Im sorry but Ferguson should win his place back rather than being an auto select and Burke would only be used in emergencies.
-
When Aaron signed I said we would barely see him and others shot me down saying Valencia will want to see him playing first team footbal and that he is good enough to be in the team. Yet we havent seen a sniff of him in the first team which disappoints me. I would let the guy lose on the left as Beasley is inconsistant and Adam and McCulloch are plain average. As for Burke il give him 3 games before he is injured again and being blown off the ball by defenders. 12k a week and he returns with a good reserve performance!! It will need a lot more than that to convince me he should be near the team which is flying with quality like Mendes.

Agree with Craig that if we play 4-5-1 then we have to have proper players in the wide positions. Id give Lafferty, Velicka, Novo and Miller a try to see if they play the forward role alone. But we have started this season well with a 4-4-2. To go to Parkhead and destroy them shows the difference of having real midfielders. Id like to see 2 of the strikers ive mentioned a try together. Im not convinced I want Ferguson back in the team yet. He surely cant walk back into a winning side - why brake whats not already broken!! For years we have needed a real midfield that can play 4-4-2 and now we have it, why bring back a inconsistant player who has only gave us a handful of good games in about 2 years ahead of Thomson who has a long future ahead of him. And id have Mendes ahead of Ferguson becuase he gives us more going forward. That said if Ferguson is fully fit and plays well then he should be in the team when he gets his chance...just as long as he doesnt start tackling Mendes like he did to Hemdani. The thing about having Davis in the team is he is perfect in a 4-4-2 whether it be centre or right (not wide right) but he doesnt suit the right side position in a 4-5-1 as there are already 2 other central players.

Someone on here once said the Man Utd version was: Im not sure how true that is and i can never make it out...but thats certainly more offensive to any Liverpool/Juventus fan who was involved at Heysel. And they would need to pulled up if we are being singled out.
