Yeah i agree, at the moment id be hoping for someone better to partner Bougherra long term and have Broadfoot as a back up....but as you say, guve the lad a chance.....certainly ahead of McCulloch anyway
-
Curious here...but is the banned songs like Hullo Hullo / Famine - just banned from Ibrox or all football stadia or everywhere ie on the streets?
-
Interesting. Should we put Whittaker back into his natural RB position and try Broadfoot out at centre back to partner Bougherra? Davie Weir does a fine job but id rather see someone who is to be there long term make a partnership with Bougherra (who has been a breath of fresh air after the loss of Cuellar). This Inverness game is a great opportunity to make such move.

Fair enough, but its like comparing Shearer with Windass
-
Please dont compare McCoist and Boyd again. If Boyd played like McCoist then Id take Boyd out myself and buy him junk food and beer.
-
I didnt say Boyd was ugly Ok il change kebab to Big Macs, pies, pizza......
-
The double chin, pot belly and the fact he looks like he is towing a caravan when he runs gives it away
-
I wish i could draw out a country that we could send Alex Salmond to....Greenland would be perfect And why wait until 12 Nov to make the draw
-
Good point...and il add that in the modern day players have state of the art facilities to get them and remain in great physic...not to mention the vast amounts of money. Yet Boyd has been overweight and slow for 95% of his rangers career. I remember reading a quote from John Greig RE Davie Cooper. Cooper had just came back from injury and was a bit over weight. Greig told him he had 2 weeks to drop half a stone. Cooper came back to training 4 days later and was down the suggested weight. Yet Boyd seems to be on the kebabs far too much. Id never grudge a player a night out, or a good fry up/junk food once in a while - they are human after all, but keep it to once in a while to maintain there body condition. Id say the league could be split into 3 or 4 levels. But its also tricky to say as home and away games are almost a different kettle of fish altogether. But going to Tannadice, Tynecastle, Easter Road, Fir Park and Pittodrie are certainly a lot trickier than going to Hamilton or having Inverness at home. If Boyd starts banging in goals consistantly at all these grounds aswell as playing a better all round game then I'll be on the same fanclub / mailing list as Jon and Johnny.

Im with the above lads on this. I dont like the song, and wouldnt sing it, but now this insane threats of arrests have came about id start to sing it if was at a game. And hopefully huge numbers do start to sing in protest at these arrest threats, then we can see if 100s/1000s get arrested on no charges. We'll also see where the clubs stance is. As i said before, the power is with the people. The world is going through a transistional period of becoming a big brother state and things like this are a prime example of keeping freedom / democracy when there is nothing illegal about it. If we show weakness here then we will become vunerable to almost any song that is complained about. WATP

Yeah the proof will be in the pudding when he plays against tougher opposition at home but more so away from Ibrox. I expect him to play again this weekend and wouldnt be surprised to see him score against Inverness who are one of the poorer sides again.
-
Oh well all the more reason to sing: Why dont you behave why dont you behaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave oh polis and media Why dont you behave.
-
Not really important, just posted on the messageboard but it was 20 mins behind
-
Any chance to look at the clock Barry, Frankie, Craig??
-
Any word on what grounds they would arrest people on?
-
The difference is Arsenal have dicated the game and practicall thrown it away. Whilst Liverpool are the opposite - they nick something.
-
Arsenal are unplayable when they click and last season they played Man U @ Old Trafford and Chelsea @ Stamford Bridge off the park until they took the lead, then panic kicked in and they ended up throwing leads away. The problem is there style of play is too good.
-
The guy on your right was a Celtic fan or Gers fan also??? Fair play if he was a celtic fan. Thats happened to me a few times at West Ham away games. I remember being away to Oxford in a midweek cup match in a terrace behind the goal. West Ham scored and about a group of 15-20 people around us said a quiet "YESSSS" then we all looked at each other and started going mental. Same thing happened away to Luton but because we were close to the West Ham end we didnt worry and a group of about 50 just went crazy when we scored.
-
I see Chelsea winning it aswell, but id say Arsenal would be bankers if they didnt shoot themselves in the foot all the time. But all we can ask for is an entertaining race. Man U still have a bit of work to do but they have time on there side, its ok saying they have a game in hand, but they still need to win it
-
I am actually given them credit for winning games that they would normally have lost or drew, plus beating Man Utd and Chelsea...but at the same time they were lucky against Sunderland, Middlesboro and Wigan. If they are still top of the league after the busy Christmas period then il say they have a chance.
-
Are you saying they would have scored in the last 15 mins? I dont know but it was looking like a draw. Granted others teams get luck but Liverpool have been lucky in about 5 games this season already
-
They needed a penalty to get them 3 points, they just seem to have luck on there side right now but it will run out. I agree about Spurs, they have been saved by getting Redknapp or they were down for sure.
-
Have to say Hutton started the match ok but then went onto have a shocker. Nice to see Villa up there and I hope they can stay there for most of the season. Liverpool were jammy last night, they wont beat Spurs this weekend at White Hart Lane. Should be a good game - 2 big teams whom i cant stand!!
-
Thats strong looking team that should be winning games
-
I cant believe it finished 4-4. I got up to watch it but was shattered to turned the tb of with 5 mins to go at 4-2....couldnt believe the score when i seen it at work this morning. Fuckers! I at least i predictied Arsenal to get 4 goals and got the Chelsea score correct. ONCE again Arsenal shoot themselves in the foot in their title bid, when are they going to learn.
