I always look at management as 2 - the assistant is as important for me. IF and big IF Ally got the job, whoever was his No.2 would be important. It would be a risk and like a few others id always prefer a big proven name, but I do see Ally as manager one day and I hope he is successful.

West Ham are in free fall at the moment and I do fear for us. But we arent playing back football which is concerning aswell in a way. What happens when we start to play bad!!!! We outplayed Hull, Everton and Portsmouth yet only picked up 1 point from 3 games. But maybe this good play will also click and start to win games. West Ham arent a sacking club but if Zola doesnt start to win games id punt him. He was a risk and untried at management - never mind the Premier League. Quite looking forward to Spurs v Blackburn today - 2 sides i dont like much but its 19th v 18th so a lot to play for.

Dont hold back there Gisabeer Have to agree though, ive never rated Adam and wouldnt let him near the starting line up ahead of certain other players. Even off the park he is embarrassing, i remember his last interview when he was picking his nose throughout. We have big numbers in the squad yet we are still struggling with consistancy on the left midfield/wing.

You wont see many days in the season when the top 6 dont win. Bit of a freak day really. Man U will be kicking themselves after the others played first, but Villa are getting better and better. Liverpool finally got what they deserved - a 0-0 with one of the poorer teams. Going by yesterdays results il back Wigan and West Ham today

Bastard Boruc. He just hacked a St mirren striker outside the box and it was a total straight red yet he only got a yellow.
-
Boruc just assulted a St Mirren striker outside the box giving him a kick like Schmacher did in the 1982 world cup yet only got a yellow card. It was 2 straight reds

Maybe the Gallas thing isnt reverse psychology Wenger should field the youngsters and they will batter Man City
-
TBH numbers wise we are ok. We really only need a full back depending on S Smith. Next season we need a long term partner for Bougherra - now whether papac or Broadfoot can step up to that is another question. If Broadfoot moves to centre then we need a RB as cover for Whittaker and if Papac moved to CH then we would need another LB.

I went for 3-0 aswell but il go 1 extra. Rangers 4-0 Aberdeen Davis, Miller, Boyd, Ferguson
-
Its reverse psychology from Wenger, they will come out and blaze Man City
-
Not a pop, just a fact thay they will remain lucky

Agreed Craig, I feel Im maybe maissing something here also. I think Murrays statement was a belter but remained professional at the same time. That toad Reid needs brought down a few pegs.

If ever we had a reason to win the league..........
Gribz replied to Yieldshields loyal's topic in Rangers Chat
But the players need something so they dont take the foot off the peddle in some games, if this does it for them then so be it. We'll thrive on it when we take the league flag home in May. Im sorry but i cant stand the thought of them winning 4 in a row and us only picking up a few titles this decade. -
Chick, your going to take over my spot as No.1 thread starter soon :box:

And Maradona was spot on aswell. England won the world cup with a goal that never crossed the line to go 3-2 up against W Germany, then the 4th goal could have been disallowed also as there were fans on the pitch - yet you dont hear much about that

You said he looks fat TBH i didnt see much of him so cant make much of a comment, but i have a wee bit of hope for him
-
I dont condone violence, but if he caused it then it couldnt have happened to a nicer chap
-
Yip lets hope thats accepted ASAP
-
His Gers career hasnt really started either has it. he wasnt cementing his place in the team and nobody knew where he would be playing if he did play. He gives us another option upfront and yet another who can play left. Lets hope he gets match fit soon enough and puts another spark upfront

The Butcher v Maradona thing took over a bit before the game. TBH i dont give a monkeys what Butcher had to say and id rather side with Maradona than him. Im disliking the Burley era more and more but having Butcher on board who is an ultra failure at any team he coached (despite being a tremendous defender) isnt helping Burley at all.

Jon your just looking for an argument. How can i be contradicing myself? Ive already said id have him on the right and drop Lampard leaving Gerrard, Carrick and 1 from J Cole/A Young/ Agbonlahor on the left. Lampard and Gerrard cant play together due to the media blabbing on about it and not having a manager who knows how to play them. But when both have played without the other they are better. SWP ahead of Walcotton??? Thats so anti Arsenal it makes Spurs fans want a season ticket at Emirates.

Who mentioned about standard? I was on about current form and i clearly said what he has done THIS YEAR for England is better than the rest. Lampard gets booed by his own fans because he is that poor for England. Gerrard hasnt performed for England anything like he does for Liverpool. Week in week out in the Premier League those guys mentioned are a better standard - nobody will deny that...but for England this year and on current International for Walcott is a bigger loss IMO
