It would depend on who was playing Cal, an OF final would fill any stadium. Rangers v Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs or Dundee Utd would probably get near 70,000. But back in the 1987 Cup final between St Mirren and Dundee Utd there was 57,000. If those 2 played at hampden today i couldnt see it being filled. Also there are 3 other factors why i couldnt see such big crowds at such final. 1) Seats! People in those days preferred to stand and it made for a better day out with some. 2) Prices - costs are obviously more these days 3) Interest in the league cup - The league cup used to be as interesting as the Scottish cup and had a european place up for grabs. Playing it in October also was more interesting rather then Feb/march. It gave those in form at the early part of the season a chance of silerware. Now its seen as a hinderence to some.

With a few outsiders getting each other. Stupid format though, and that clown David Taylor drew it. I say just get the names in the hats and draw them rather than avoiding teams

Here's an outsider treble Im going to stick a fiver on tomorrow. Reading Leeds Wycombe Reading and Wycombe both in the top 3 of there league while Leeds are just outside the play offs. Approx odds are 28/1 which is huge for 3 teams who normally are Evs at best.

Normally I agree. Only Scott Brown and Craig Gordon have appealed to me in recent years, but I like Berra. His 2 performances against us and Celtic recently would make him a far better choice than our other options.

5-2 now after pen...goals flowing in....6 goals in 9 mins - u cant ask for much more than that This tournament will probably take off in the next 10 years. The Country WC didnt really get much interest in the first few WC's but after WWII it took off. It will be great to win it now then people will look back and say they won it xxxx times. Uruguay have won the WC twice and nobody can take that away from them - yet they dont stand a chance of winning it these days.

Gav this is exactly why there is so many sheep in the world and how Governments are suceeding in creating Globalization and taking simple rights away from people - because when someone is told to do something they just accept it regardless and just leave it to the next man to protest about it - yet when the average person hears of a protestor on the news they class them as idiots as this is what the news portrays them to be. If everyone stood together and fought back at ridiculous rules then the "authorites" would HAVE to back down - just like what happened with Poll Tax IIRC. Changes are happening infront of our faces daily and we just seem to accept it. Yet the percentage of the population who are saying these 'rules' is a tiny tiny fraction compared the population they are trying to enforce them on.

One thing that annoys me about WS is he will play the likes of McCulloch and Adam on reputation, past performances and hope rather than play the likes of Aaron. The OF game is maybe going to be a big too soon for Naismith, but surely Aaron should start on the left. There defence is shite so let him have a go at them.

No messing around from Blackburn, seems they identified the man they wanted and got him - good move from them! He is capable of attracting players and will be able to persuade their better players to stay. I did think he would go to Sunderland though and Curbishley would go to Blackburn.

William Walls - what a name that is! You think he was hand picked? But absolute joke of a charge. And people cant see this big brother prison society coming!!! Look at this part: We havent been TOLD / ORDERED not to sing it - i.e. it hasnt been pushed through law. And when you look at the words "the famines over, WHY dont you go home" - saying 'why' is merely a suggestion. Yes its not a great song to sing but i cant see where the racism comes into this.
