Yip Fleck looks to me Rooney-Esk. Same build, same aggresive play, he is direct, fast, skillful. The kid has all the ingredients to go on and be a star, but he could be done with a similar player in the team to take pressure and expectation off him. Step forward Aaron!!! I think Aaron could be every bits as good as Fleck has been, so Imagine how good these 2 could be in the same team on either flank!!

Fair play to the poster, he is certainly optimistic. But does he really think WS will use those 4 players like new signings and start playing attractive football??? I think this run-in is going to be a bit of a slog with much more twists

This Arshavin deal is a bizarre one. Its either on or off!
-
Benitez has obviously seem something he doesnt like that everyone else cant. You just wonder if moving back to Spurs so soon will be a good thing or a bad thing. Im hoping they get relegated but cant see it with Keane and Defoe.
-
Aye there was a picture of him the other day somewhere in jeans and a jumper and he looked homeless
-
Isnt the transfer window a UEFA thing though? So if it gets extended somewhere it has to other places also????
-
You should have left out the wink there mate to see how many people didnt know you were joking. Jon will still say he couldnt agree more tho!

Without getting into a political debate why should millions 'around the world' have trust in the 'American' President. I dont have any trust in Obama as he isnt the 1 actually making the decisions.
-
Its a bit late to do this deal but a good move for Keane and Spurs if it goes through. Keane and Defoe back upfront toegther within 13 months, i wonder what odds that would have been

Crikey! Cardiff raiding the SPL - thats unheard of!
-
Come on...Somebody fookin sign somebody!!!! I hope Arshavin completes the move to Emirates.

Could mean RA has lost interest or chelsea are in the shit with money! Or he isnt happy with Scolari. Avram Grant was better..
-
Cant wrap the guy up in cotton wool but he shouldnt be getting into clubs in the first place, cant bouncers recognise him and know he is 17

As it says, should it be kept or binned? There are arguments for and against. I quite like the idea of a team having its squad at the start of the season and thats the cards the have dealt for the whole season, if they get injuries tough - play the youngsters. It also means the likes of Chelsea cant go out and sign a 30 million pound player due to 1 of there stars getting injured.

Just waiting for Jonc to come online and it will be hoped for Although id have taken Fowler every transfer window up until 12-18 months ago. Is the Alan Smith 1 real again or a joke? I cant even remember who he plays for now - Is he still at Newcastle?
-
S Smith has been out too long and i fear he wont get his form back. But Saturday could have been a good chance to play him rather than moving Broadfoot to LB and bringing that clown Whittaker in.

Nice looking team

Whoever wrote this in the Sun should be sacked: Drogba is worth every penny as much as Robinho, Alex must be between 6-10 million.....plus 20 million...bollocks

Im just a realist, Boyd is one of the worst 'footballers' ive ever seen and his game effects the rest of the team. Granted he gets goals but nobody has hindsight so cant say someone else wouldnt have got those goals. There was a sign last week that said: No Boyd = No Goals = No Title I couldnt disagree more!! Dundee Utd game just past it was 0-0 and boyd comes off and we get 2 goals plus 1 wrongly chopped off And No Title!!???????? Your having a laugh!! We have had 50+ titles before Boyd and we will get another 50+ after Boyd! Yet how many have we had WITH Boyd - NONE

Hang about...hold the bus!!!! Erm...actually I currently hold the title of Overall Best Poster for the last year :box:

Jon, how many double posts do you need in 1 day???...replying to your own conversation :fish: Anyway cant you adjust the poll to have the options like: Boyd/Miller Miller/Lafferty Lafferty/Boyd Lafferty/Naismith Miller/Naismith Naismith/Boyd
-
Not only has he not scored, he hasnt contributed a pass or a run or a tackle etc As i said on another thread, if he had stayed on against Utd he would have picked the ball up, scored the pen and be made a hero for being a passenger
-
We'll just have to end the topic there. I wouldnt bet sweets on Boyd in this type of game. When he came on against Aberdeen he wasnt better than Miller was and the open chance he got was a free header and he fluffed it. He was shocking on saturday against Utd and his attitude looks to have gone down again and he is sulking. Maybe we need Burley to do us another favour in order for him to raise his game. You cant fault Millers effort he will at least run all day, but Boyd looks like he is carrying a bear on his back.

Im not desperate to get rid of him, id happy keep him as a squad player. But if we get 3million for him then thats great.
