  1. Thats 3 wingers and a wide player/striker in that midfield!!!!
  2. To be fair to Faubert, he wanted to come to Gers but it was the french club he played for who accepted West ham's bid and turned ours down
  3. No no no...he is absolutely terrible! As i said in football chat, Etheringto is going for 2 million and is by far a better player! Faubert did get an injury early on but he has been terrible in every game he has played since coming back, and I see West Ham live almost every week. His crossing from dead balls is the worst ive seen and his legs are like Darcheville's - far to bulky for a footballer.
  4. I think its 105 and 106 caps or 107 and 108. But BBC normally say he is going for the record breaking amount, but this time they have remember Shilton has 126 caps.
  5. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/7813166.stm No wonder he only played 45 mins, i watched the first half and he was absolute terrible. Well off the pace, poor passing, losing possession..... He says he hasnt moved to pass Bobby Moore's record but i definatly believe its a personal goal of his - of course it is and rightly so, but he isnt going to admit it. He is another player who on the downward spiral....seems to be the story of football at the moment!
  6. Im afraid both my teams are in the money dire. West Ham are probably in a bigger mess than Rangers. The owner has until March to find a buyer or his companies are insolvent, plus WH could be hit with the Tevez fine of up to 30 million. I suppose WH are a selling club at the moment as well.
  7. This is basically the only way to gain money and by winning the SPL this season we would get the windfall so shouldnt SDM, MB and WS all be putting every resource possibly into winning it and not saying things like all our players are for sale.
  8. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/stoke_city/7814510.stm Cant believe West Ham are letting him go and for such a cheap fee. He is much better than Boa Morte on the left. 2 million is a bargain! Someone ive rated for a long time. He is quick and can beat men and has a good cross. Reminds me a bit in Neil McCann at this peak. This is the sort of player we should have went for rather than 3.5 million for Lafferty.

Gary Neville - £11.75m (101) Who does Cheryl play for these days?? Watched bits of Beckham playing for Milan last night against Hamburg in the Dubai cup and he was murder! Well out of his depth IMO after playing at a lower level in LA. It will take him a while to get up to speed.
  10. It was Pete who mentioned Mols. I agree, Mols was an awesome goalscorer (and all rounder) before the B Munich game.
  11. You can add a spell under McLeish to that also Pete. But a more concerning thing is we all know BF is going downhill due to age, injury or whatever, but we dont have a replacement lined up. We dont even have a leader. The only talented youngsters we have are Aaron, Fleck, Lennon and possibly Furman yet Aaron has had 10 mins and the others havent had a sniff. We should be pitching these players in more to think about the future. Yet WS give Dailly a years contract and doesnt play him.
  12. I suppose its my time for comment but Pete kind of beat me to it. I cant see why selling Boyd blows the title at all. For me its more about Rangers becoming a selling club and WS wasting money on wasters first. As Craig pointed out, Ok if Lafferty had proved to be a great buy then i can see the point in selling Boyd but the fact is we dont have much more option to play upfront (bar Novo) and we cant afford to buy players - thats the 2 concerning things for me more so than Kris Boyd leaving. But who knows, it could improve our play, we may get more of a footballer in his place (a fully fit Naismith?) and play better in the final 3rd. Having a 25+ goalscorer doesnt win you the league as been proven since we signed Boyd - yes it helps but its all about the team doing better than any other side in the league. As Pete says the De Boers etc were not goal scorers but contributed to a winning side. I actually dont think Boyd will leave but kind of think WS wants him away and Brum buying him is getting him out the team the easy way. But if he does go then i hope the club get a bit more as we have to pay Killie with a sell on clause. We should definatly include a larger fee if Brum get up to the EPL and IF he has scored a certain amount of goals receive another payment.
  13. Ive got both now. Still got page not displayed and the pages being very slow. Is it Barry who is still looking after this? I thought Craig was now or am I thinking about something else??
  14. Be interesting to see how many fans would be up for letting him leave and for how much. I dont think we should knock back 3 million, but include a selling on clause and an additional 2 million once Brum get up to the Premier League and 2 million if he hits a certain amount of goals.
  15. I read on the Rangers website that he is 6ft 2". Can anyone confirm? I totally thought he was quite small around 5ft 9.
  16. You forgot shouting at his own players constantly and even so when he is in the wrong and strayed a pass
  17. Folks, just a quick note when cutting and pasting articles, remeber to delete the text that comes in the picture insert and it fits into the article and confuses some readers.
  18. Anyone else having problems today, with the famous "page can not be displayed" coming up a lot?
  19. Thats actually a good counter argument. However BF hasnt even got involved in games where anyone has stood up and said "BF played a few good passes today or he did this....etc..". He has been more invisible than visible. He used to run the show pretty much 1 in 4 games and the others he would play well, now he has 1 good game in 8 without running the show.
  20. The problem with Broadfoot is he has no composure what so ever. He does overlap quite well but this is pointless when he just punts and hopes the ball lands at Boyd. He needs to look up and start playing a easier pass.
  21. Which player are you then??
  22. Its a tough one. At times when he was injured we were thinking we missed him. He comes back and hasnt dominated 1 game yet. His best days are clearly behind him and i cant remember the last time he ran the show in a game. Like Gav, either way is fine but he shouldnt be immune to being subbed or dropped in games. At the moment Davis would be my first pick in the centre of the park with Mendes or Ferguson.
  23. I wouldnt say no to selling McGregor for 7.5 million then trying to get Gordon on the cheap. In saying that McGregor had a top quality save early in the game yesterday that he didnt know much about.
  24. I posted the narrow option on another thread which gave Novo a free role. If we dont have width as it is then whats the harm in doing that rather than letting Novo suffer out wide. Davis showed in the 2nd half yesterday he is a better player coming inside a bit. Ive heard a few good things about Commons but the other solution could be some bloke called Aaron Niguez.

    Lovenkrands

Yes for me. Id take him back. Big game player with pace who can play through the middle and on the left.
