  1. Thats the game that put Arsenal out the title race IMO. Revenge today though.
  2. If they won last week against Wigan then id be considering them, but if West Ham get something today if keeps them close. Man U will drop a few points and Villa just have to keep on winning. Have to say id like to see it. As long as Liverpool dont win it i dont care though
  3. Its like Government conspiracies - they come out to the public view in time when its too late. Nobody in there right mind could have watched that Scotland v Italy game and thought Italy should have the free kick. Been listening to talksport and the News of World have bugged ref Steve bennett who claimed players are being booked on purpose so the miss certain games. Jeff Winter came on and gave a superb opinion which made you realise the pressure refs are under despite still making so much mistakes.
  4. Keane, Bellamy and Anelka have to be up there. Keane has played for: Wolves Coventry Inter Milan Leeds Tottenham Liverpool Tottenham Bellamy: Norwich Coventry Newcastle Celtic Blackburn Liverpool West Ham Man City Anelka: PSG Arsenal Real Madrid PSG Liverpool Man City Fenerbache Bolton Chelsea Tottenham

    Game Off

Match postponed because of frost. The game will now be played on 18 February
  6. Then edit your post rather than post again which looks like you chat with yourself :fish: But I agree, I like Adams aswell. Seems to have got his head screwed on a lot more now that when he was a player. He isnt management material though, he is a good No.2
  7. Would be interesting to know the list of players who have moved the most and another list in the cost of transfer fees. These players must be minted with signing on fees. I think there should be a rule in contracts which say if a player leaves within a certain time then he should pay back a percentage of his transfer fee. Arshavin is rumoured to have paid 1 million to St Petersburg. Bellamy got a huge signing on fee from West Ham then got approx 50k a week while out injured for months the upsticks and leaves
  8. Here's hoping West Ham stick a goal past Van Der Sar this afternoon early doors.
  9. Was going to back Blackpool yesterday aswell
  10. Villa still in there with another great away win at Blackburn. They must be kicking themselves at drawing with Wigan at home last weekend where they could have scored 5. Those 2 points would have really put them in it as Man U cant win every week.
  11. PL grabbed Newcastles 2nd yesterday
  12. I quite like the North London Derby. But this game is a must win for both. Spurs need 3 points to help them stay up or they will still be right in the thick of it and they have a tough fixture list coming up. Arsenal need a won or they are going to struggle for the Champions League places. Also they have to start looking over there shoulder at Everton coming strong for 5th!!! Could be a classic. 2-1 to the Arsenal
  13. They need West Ham to win today. Even a draw gives Man U another point. Liverpool are also lucky Arsenal and Chelsea arent on top form. Chelsea are just flat and dont look a patch on the team they have been under Jose and Grant. Arsenal are just too inconsistant and have been let down by a fighting type player.
  14. The chasing pack need West Ham to do them a favour today. West Ham have beaten Man U on the last 2 trips to upton park so there is a chance but Zola is playing a flowing style of football that Man U could catch them out. I fancy a draw. C'mon you Irons!!
  15. The snow is coming down in that area. Safe journey for any Gersnetters going to game
  16. Shite again. Did Villa, West Brom, Brentford and Chelsea then another line with Reading, Wigan, Sunderland and Everton. At least it wasnt just 1 team who let me down again Oh well Arsenal and a draw with WH today
  17. Was going to back Hamilton yesterday. Thats Utd and Hearts out the cup!
  18. Its a shame it never went to a reply to how many would have went to Hampden
  19. Jon what did you mean by this?? By the amount of teams he has moved to??? Who was top? Bellamy and Anelka must be up there. And Diarra is climbing the lists. These players certainly arent aiming for any testamonials are they!! As for Liverpool, lucky fooks. 2 weeks in a row they have nicked games in the last few mins. They have no chance in the league even after West Ham do them a favour today. Liverpool are also lucky that Chelsea and Arsenal arnt the same teams this season
  20. TBH I hope LA stick to there guns. They have been paying him wat 200k a week and now he wants to jump ship!! We all know the novelty of playing in the US has worn off and his so called ambition of turning the major league into a big thing was all bollocks. Beckham should never have committed himself in the first place and should have stayed in Europe. Its better for him to move to Milan but I hope LA get a fee to cover wages and signing on fees.
  21. This topic almost has as much threads as Boyd :fish:
  22. I did look at Leicester. They are a late K/o though.
  23. Bollocks. 1-0 Man City. Boro did well first have and Given has had 3 or 4 great saves on his debut. Ah well, need to dig out another team to back with Villa and West Brom. Any suggestions folks????
  24. And i thought the Milan game was tuesday. I blame the club for not markerting these things well enough
