Legendary. I never get tired of hearing that.

Podcast was a good listen this morning, first one Ive listened to in ages. Discussion was spot on although if I was Colin Id still have had a few cans after the game ? Stewart Weir is great - I use to hear him often on Talksport during the night UK time and always thought he was on the ball. Fully agree about McGregor and the save he tipped onto the bar - I think its maybe went 'slightly' under the radar as to how good it was, it was going in.
-
Well done sir - I suppose you were due a win. Kent is on the verge of being a special player, he has all the ability and he is the one I worry about losing the most.

I know, you have to ask this question. They were acting like they werent Man Utd fans. I found it very dubious. Unfortunately I dont think this is a one off, it could have a domino effect. By all means have a protest although Im never sure what Protests gain unless they are in mammoth numbers but going into the stadium is effectively break-in. Obviously they didnt envisage getting the game called off but whether that is something that now gathers momentum to hit owners in the pocket is another thing. On the pitch Arsenal rock up with a good performance which is what they do to paper over cracks but Arteta has to look at Martinelli and Aubameyeng and start them on Thursday.

Rangers 2-0 Celtic Morelos FGS -
What a strike by Aguero it was. I think he is tailor made for Barca next season if Messi stays. Man City fans are living in a terrific era right now that they are seeing their clubs best ever spell and dont need to compare generations. They can have have the debate about their best ever player. Silva and Kompany were class but Aguero will go down as their all time best IMO. He will win all five Premier Titles in the past ten years. Quick comment on Everton - everytime they have had a chance to get ahead of Liverpool they bottle it. Ancelotti has got some work to do in the summer.
-
Man Utd are in the final. If they got Cavani 5 years ago he'd have surpassed 100 goals for them - what a striker he is. I wonder if they win it does the 5th place Premier team get into the CL. Hopefully thats the way West Ham get in but how bad would it be if thats the case and Liverpool end up in the CL due to Man Utd. Villarreal must be kicking themselves conceding.

Southampton 1-2 Leicester Crystal Palace 0-2 Man City Brighton 1-1 Leeds Chelsea 3-0 Fulham Everton 2-1 Aston Villa Newcastle 1-1 Arsenal Man Utd 2-2 Liverpool Tottenham 3-0 Sheff Utd West Brom 1-0 Wolves Burnley 2-1 West Ham

City moved up the park and stopped PSG playing, it was impressive tactics from Pep. But prior to the first goal I was saying to myself City need a striker to win this competition as they were just moving the ball around side to side looking to break down PSG - then bang its 1-1 - what do I know! As good as City were second half there was a hint of luck about De Bruyne goal, its a cross that had some curve at the last bounce. The Europa tonight Im going for two home wins. Man Utd 2-0 Roma Villarreal 2-1 Arsenal

Id have Giroud starting all day long with Havertz or Werner just behind him. If Werner finds his goalscoring touch that he had in Germany then he could be some player - you cant fault his effort and he gets into good areas. Giroud is two yards of pace short of been one of the best strikers but he has an incredible goalscoring record at club and international level. Unfortunately Chelsea are not far away from being an extremely good side under Tuchel. Hoping Man City get a good result tonight, pretty sure they would take a 1-1 also but PSG went to Munich and scored three so a 1-0 steal would be great.
-
Hope you had a cheeky tenner on that. Good result for Chelsea, puts them in the driving seat. Under Tuchel they could be a force next season and will be challenging for the title. He will get a few of his own players in so will only improve. Ive been impressed by him.
-
Agree with that though - I dont get the appointment at all. But most managers always get a lift out of the team. Im surprised Allegri hasnt been appointed in the Premier League - He is a available on a free. Same as Rafa Benitez - He is tailor made for either Spurs or Arsenal.
-
Haha. It was worth a punt. Forgot to predict the League Cup final. Man City 1-2 Tottenham. Im going for the Spurs - After getting rid of Jose they will start to win. That will be Man City out of two competitions in a week.

Vodka fueled predictions. Arsenal 2-1 Everton Liverpool 3-0 Newcastle West Ham 0-1 Chelsea Sheff Utd 2-0 Brighton Wolves 1-1 Burnley Leeds 2-4 Man Utd Aston Villa 2-0 West Brom Leicester 2-0 Crystal Palace

No Mr Scott. I think this is a false flag and it will happen. You dont get these things happening without fire. Where is Mr Compo by the way. He is fined two weeks wages
-
Ooosh - you will get big odds. Agree about Leicester though - they will drop out. Im just catching up on this Super League stuff - I still think it will happen.
-
Midweek wonders..... Scott - no lateness please or you are training with the reserves. Chelsea 2-0 Brighton Tottenham 2-0 Southampton (hopefully we dont have to bare the depressing Mourinho again in the Premier League - no other club will take him) Aston Villa 1-5 Man City Leicester 2-0 West Brom

Yup Im with you there. Wrong game for him to start. Who am I to question SG but that XI was too easy to pick - it therefore means they all go on the front foot and play 100%. -

Wouldnt disagree with that. Its maybe something SG will leave until 60-70 minutes depending on the score and how we are playing though. I cant see him going away from a midfield trio of Davis, Kamara and Aribo with Arfield, Kent and Morelos. Going forward in a game where can experiment a bit Id like to see how a 4-5-1 (4-2-3-1) would look with the 3 being Wright on the right, Hagi in the centre and Kent out left. -

Agree going all out attack, and I think we can afford to as our defense and keeper are rock solid anyway. The League was top priority and the balance of power has swung so we should be going all out. Line up will be interesting but Id like to see Hagi start. I always like the look of us when both Hagi and Kent are on the park. -
I dont think Ive seen a good game at the new Wembley yet. Keys and Gray were discussing it last night and it doesnt have a Wembley feeling about it compared to the old ground which I fully agree. Foden has taken Silva place in the line up but a different player altogether, Foden is direct and takes on players but Silva was a genius who could unlock a defence with a pass. Gundogan has done well but not in the same bracket as Silva. Kane or Haaland would fit right into that side - probably more so Kane who is proven in the Premier League.

Not a bad days action. The Blades relegation is confirmed. I think I had them around 15th at the start of the season, didnt think they would be as good as previous season but didnt expect them to go down. Its a bit of good riddance for me as its a club I dont like too much. And Norwich return is confirmed. Id imagine Watford will be joining them after Swansea were held at home by Wycombe. But it looks like both Sheffield clubs will face relegation with Wednesday unfortunately going back to League one. Newcastle 3-2 West Ham - the scoreline should have been a gimmie but a bizarre couple of minutes saw Newcastle two up with some horrendous West Ham mistakes only for it to be 2-2 out of nothing. Then WH collapsed after getting level. Thats CL over for West Ham IMO, it was a must win game. But Id take Europa. And Chelsea keep going with Man City Quadruple over. Here is fact / stat of the day - Tuchel has outwitted Mourinho, Klopp, Ancelotti, Guardiola and Simeone (twice) this calendar year without conceding a goal. The shrewd move from Roman is well paying off.

Good game at Goodison even though Everton only deserve credit for trying to play football. Spurs are going backwards fast. Kane took his goals very well, but its two mistakes at the back. Everton still need 3-4 players to have a charge at being a top 6 side.
