Just picking up on this. Yeah I get your point - 4 games v Celtic is more appealing than playing others - that I agree with. Its a strange one - I was just watching some games from the 80s and I didnt realize the league was 10 teams then. But it was competitive.

Add: I would move league cup games to weekend to fill the gaps weekends with a reduction of games with a 18 team league.

Ive been an advocate for a 18 team league for years. Money and TV just puts lumps into that and possibly greed. For me 3 leagues and a pyramid system - to be fair is up and running now. Out of interest - what would you have?

Scrap the split ?

Any organization that cant get things like this right is a farce. Its been going on for years. 3 away trips to one team!! Why cant they just honour what is supposed to happen and make it 2 homes and 2 aways. If that means 4 homes and 1 away in the split then so be it - it evens everything over a season. There is no advantage.

Leicester and Southampton must be delighted with the draw against each other. Man City v Chelsea Leicester v Southampton I would have a guess at a Man City v Leicester final. The Champions league may have an impact on Man City and Chelsea game.

Hmmm. I usually like your posts but have to call you out on this one. You have to remember the last 10 years and this is a new side being grown with a project. They dont have the 9IAR 90s mentality we have, half the players were kids if they were born during then. Its rebuilding. Yep, I agree with that and its has massively diluted the UEFA (Europa). I say bring back the Cup Winners Cup also. Huge win for Brighton. Two wins in a week gives them breathing space. Newcastle are just awful. It would be good if it came down to the last game of the season at the Cottage when Newcastle go there. Scott - only correct prediction score so far with Fulham 1-2 Leeds.
