A straight replacement for Dailly! He has been playing LB for portsmouth this season though has he? Cant say id prefer Hreidasson to Papac.

It was a good start to the game, then Liverpool get a offside goal. But the Newcastle defence is just awful. Shearer cant do anything about it, I went to Newcastle v Blackburn back in September and a poor Blackburn side torn them apart - they have been awful all season. You just cant see how Newcastle will get another 2 wins this season but Hull as just as bad.

Still a full 2nd half to go. Reading havent won in there last 8 games at home! Yet have cost me my coupon most of them. That record has cost them promotion. Id rather Brum than Sheff Utd though.

Whilst Velicka and Boyd have done well recently Id put Lafferty or Miller in the side for both games. Lafferty was our best player until he got injured (was that against Hearts also? were we 2 up when he went off??). Through the middle he was looking a different player. Miller has pace, good movement and is direct which defenders hate. As you say, tough tough decision to make.

Cant agree with that Gav. Ok the Championship is a good league and most of the sides in that division would beat the 10 other SPL sides, but I cant believe the likes of West Brom, Middlesboro, Hull, Portsmouth and Bolton are better than Rangers and Celtic. Plus Newcastle are linked with half of our players every summer and January window. I think we would be 3 or 4 players (and maybe a new manager) away from being a comfortable top 10 side.

Big game for Boyd today. I'm happy to admit his last few games have shown us a different player and now he has the chance to prove he can perform well against the other teams in the top 6. A good performance today could be the determining factor whether WS plays him from the start against Celtic next week.

Yip would rather see a repeat of the 2006 final - Arsenal v Barca. And I think Arsenal could well beat Man U on Tuesday. It is going to be an absolute corker of a game as Arsenal have to come out and score. Whoever wins at Emirates I hope goes onto to win the thing. Would love to see Arsenal win but i wouldnt grudge Sir Awex and Giggs another CL title.

Newcastle are a soap opera and have a structure like a house of cards. The OF are already the same size as Newcastle with a fraction of the income. As WS says, we could be potentially a top 5 club after a few seasons.

Here is him still mumping on about the Tevez affair yet he comes out with nonsense like this and says Sheff Utd will win if they play to there ability!! I hope Palace somehow get apoint but there owner Michael Jordan has been talking about how much he doesnt like the Birmingham board. Id rather Brum go up than Sheff Utd but hopefully Reading somehow nick it today then Cardiff, Burley or Preston go up via the playoffs.

I kinda hope they go to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday and batter Chelsea. I would love to see a Arsenal v Chelsea final but the risk of letting Chelsea win the CL would be there.

As Calscot says the OF being at Ibrox gives us a slight advantage in this game but we cant rely on that after all we won our only OF game this season at Parkhead. Whatever happens that is the key game and makes the destiny with the team whoever comes out of that game with the right result. Personally I think we will win the title, we are on a good run at the right time and Id say we look more of a team since BF being left out. We are getting players like Miller and Lafferty coming back plus Velicka and Boyd have scored in the last few games while both actually playing quite well.

Arshavin is captain today. I thought Arsenal might struggle here today but they are playing some superb stuff. Crouch is an annoying player to watch.

The tie is perfectly balanced. Almunia kept Arsenal in it with those saves. Arsenal will be a different team at home and will come out and batter Man U at emirates. I can see the Goons turning it round and winning 2-0.

Seems to be doing well at Blackpool but they can keep him IMO. Adam showed glimpes of skill but was generally awful IMO. Id rather see Gow tried on the left than Adam.
