We know the likes of Hemdani, Dailly, Gow and maybe Adam will move on. But what about players who are still contracted? Id like to see the following moved on: Ferguson - Past it! Definatly cant run a game anymore and is more of a passanger / liability than effective. He can look back at his Ibrox time with a fine record though! McCulloch - Shocking player. His game is so flat its unbelievable. Boyd does more work than him. I cant work out how he manages to get so many games in different positions. Thats what having a false attitude in training does! Boyd - This will kick off the Boyd debate again but i think he needs a fresh challenge. He had a good run of games at the end of the season but that doesnt cut it for me. Is it true he said he was too hot to play at half time? McGregor - This is a tough one and im split on it. If we could get 5-7million then id take it. He is a quality keeper on his day but he has went backwards on and off the park in the last 12 months. Possibly deserves one last chance. Velicka - Not too sure what the purpose of his season was. If he stays he has a lot to prove. I think the squad needs freshened up in general with some ego's and dead wood moving on.

Nacho's cup final strike moves ahead of Mendes goal at Parkhead for me! What a goal! Delighted for the wee man to get it aswell. If that was Lampard or Gerrard then people would be wetting themselves over it. I didnt see the cup final but it sounded utter dross. I was getting updates and heard Falkirk were the better team but i wasnt surprised with Ferguson and McCulloch in the midfield. I saw bits of the celebrations after and McCulloch was embarrassing after what i read about him - as someone else said on another thread he is an imposter! He is a player who went from being a decent signing to one of the worst signings.

I can arrange for one of them for you :fish:

Me and Gav's material isnt scripted and its our own words. Pete needs to sit and write his for a week before posting Anyway Jon, your used to having no taxis in your neck of the woods....cant you google only an excuse of something :fish:

That goal took a wicked deflection off one of our defenders (John Brown IIRC) or we wouldnt have conceded that day!
-
There isnt much in it but i went for Cuellar. He was awesome in every match I saw and to be compared to Gough after 1 season showed how good he was. Bougherra has been immense this season and is now a key man!

I think Ferguson is a cert to start this game. WS has subtley brought him back in and he could get his swan song in the final. I dont think much people would grudge him that.
-
I think McCoist should hang onto this role, learn as much as possible then once WS finishes he should leave at the same time. Then McCoist should go try being No.1 elsewhere for a while to see how he does and it will make him better prepared for then taking the Gers job.

I think McGhee will get it and is just waiting for the Tims to confirm they dont want him. Eric Black is another who may take it as Steve Bruce looks like he is going to Sunderland so Black may start afresh also.

I think if a team is running close and they have 1 or maybe 2 unlucky draws in games that were 1) their for the taking and 2) a host of chances that just wouldnt go for them then the excuse "if only we won that game" can be used. Arsenal for example in 2003 drew 2-2 at Bolton which cost them the league (if they won that they would have beat Leeds on the last day) and again last year that Birmingham draw knocked them off the pertch. But Liverpool had SEVEN home draws which tells its own story.

Rangers eye £3m transfer move for West Brom winger Chris Brunt
Gribz replied to johnnyk's topic in Rangers Chat
Never really seen Brunt before but a straight swap for BF would be a good piece of business if possible. -

He doesnt look half as scary as you! -
How good were Barca?!!!!! Absolutely miles the better team. Their footballing class shone through. Iniesta was amazing! Utd werent at the races at all! Half the team were well off the pace. Premier League best in the world?? Maybe for entertainment but Barca are streets ahead of anyone in quality at the moment. Guaridola (sp) deserves huge credit. He took over as a player into his first job and he has produced an amazing team.

Opening mail again??? :fish:

Erm no, i think they were flicking the Vs as you Traynor and other media members Good read though, does show that WS has turned us around.
-
Did Andy Webster get one??
-
It will cost them a million quid for Mowbray. I can possibly see them going for John Collins and Paul Lambert combination. Both are cheap options and have this 'celtic-minded' thing they are on about. Nae luck for the mhanks really, all the real possible contendors have got good jobs at the moment like Mick McCarthy and Owen Coyle.

Celtic approach Birmingham for their new manager
Gribz replied to Gazza_8's topic in General Football Chat
There are some guys who are just purely better at being a No.2 and Steve Clarke seems to be one of them. He gets tons of input and ideas across without the pressure of being the main man. In some ways it works better. He is the highest paid assistant manager in England and has recently signed a 5 yr contract so there is no way Celtic can afford him. -
Martin Jol resigns as Hamburg boss and takes Ajax role
Gribz replied to John Barr's topic in General Football Chat
I rate Jol highly, he could be the man to bring Ajax back on the map. I thought Spurs were silly to get rid of him and he has done a good job at Hamburg. Shame for Hamburg though, Ive liked them ever since Albertz came from them and they are decent size team with a great stadium. Must have been a tough decision for Jol. Strange one about the Stuttgart bloke though!!!! Have the qualified for Europe?? -
I think its good to see 6 Scottish clubs in europe but i dont agree with how this works. Its almost like hand picking a team from the bottom half of the SPL. The place should go to the highest team in the league who havent qualified for Europe. You should only qualify for europe on some sort of merit on performances not due to having the least players booked. But in that case it would put Levein in Europe so no..
-
Shouldnt that be 'is it him'! Im sure Fatima is a bloke!
-
Agree with John, would love to see us get Liverpool. The chances must be of getting an English club are good.

Haha thats hilarious! The guy in the picture will feel a total fud. But its also an example of how the few control the masses via the mainstream media. They put out false information and people beleive it
