Oh, I was in a bar with about 5 mhanks last night who started hail hail so I belted out a couple of tunes starting with Hullo Hullo.......Glad to say I out voiced all 5 of them!
  2. Reading are absolute shite at home and half let me down about 67 times so Im going for Boro to beat them

  4. ......All together now....the Cry was............ ......Champions league, your having a laugh..... HULLO HULLO! :box:
  5. Middlesboro Hearts Spurs Newcastle 15/1
  6. No way are we missing Barry Ferguson. It would be even more obvious if WS could have a bit more guts and start playing to our strengths with Thomson the holding midfielder and Davis inside right. That would give Mendes a bit more freedom rather than making his game a more defensive one which is effecting him IMO.
  7. Rangers 3-2 Celtic Davis, Rothen and Novo for us.
  8. Whats everyones general thoughts on Naismith? I actually still dont rate him that much and think he has a long way to go to be first choice striker. He hasnt shown as much as Lafferty did in the 2nd half of last season. Ok has a bit of pace and has that work ethic that wins fans over, but is he a world beater - not for me. I hope he proves me wrong but id have the proven Novo ahead of him tomorrow.

    Beasley

I always found him decent in home games down the left, he often brought a good bit of play on the left. He is far too lightweight though, he makes Burke look like Neil Ruddock at times. I wonder if he would be a decent option upfront?
  10. Used to like Redknapp but cant stand him now. He greets to much and is a self centred cock. He spits the dummy out at anything. He is a good manager but I cant stand Spurs either so would love to see them fall flat on their face.
  11. I think Rothen has to play to get some decent deliveries into the box and put that defence under pressure. Novo should start also as he has a bit of magic up his sleeve. Id partner him with Miller if fit. Miller has played very well in his OF games since coming back.
  12. If the team is: ____________________Langfield__________________ Barr________Berra_____________Caldwell_______Fox Dorrans______Snodgrass________Wallace_______Adam ______________Fletcher______O Connor____________ That would truly be the worst Scotland team of all time.

    Beasley

Did we sell him in the transfer window or is he still injured?
  14. This guy hasnt a clue, he goes on about WS needing more players. IMO the only position we needed cover for was centre half, and once we have everyone fit we will have decent cover all over the pitch. I didnt think id ever hear myself say this but i am looking forward to Broadfoot being fit again. Its not so much our squad size, its the way we set out our stall. Lee McCulloch still gets a game for some bizarre reason when kevin Thomson should be the sole player sitting in the defensive role in midfield which would allow mendes and Davis to do the creating. Once Lafferty is back he will offer us something different upfront. The last 5 games have been terrible but we are notorious for having a poor early season run - i remember the Laudrup video and when he signed we lost to AEK Athens (Europe), Falkirk (League cup) and Celtic (league) in the space of a week and his words were peopl coming up to come and saying it will get better, its just a spell. TBH I see a weaker Celtic team this season than last. Therefore Im very confident about a home victory on Sunday. But WS MUST MUST MUST start playing a more attacking line up and play to OUR strengths.
  15. Crazy time to be going all the way out there. I was going to go up for the match but prices were ridiculous for a 3 day trip. Miller is overdue a rest as he has been playing 2 games per week for the last 5 weeks.
  16. I agree, these things are becoming blatent and obvious recently in all leagues. The Man U v Man C added time was a joke then later in the day Robbie Keane wasnt given a blatent penalty. A few weeks ago Arshavin was hacked in the box by Fletcher and the ref said play on but 2 mins later Van Persie did the same thing on Giggs and was booked.
  17. Terrible decision overall. But the good thing is Gary McAllister is favourite to take over from Pressley.
  18. Ive no idea where that 7 mins came from, but how good was Giggs' pass for the winner - and he was awesome all game. Bellamys goals were superb despite him being a rat. His pace is unreal. The most annoying thing was owen getting the winner - he fluffed his shot and was so lucky yet now everyone is saying thats what he can do and he has answered his critics. Also, refs are buggering up everywhere, Robbie Keane had a stonewall pen turned down at Chelsea
  19. Id say Motherwell and Killie away are tricky games early on in the season especially when we have CL games and a few players had internationals also. Yet the Motherwell and Killie players are still pretty fresh. I do agree we should be coming out the blocks a bit faster and playing a higher tempo - which we can do! But if we get 2 wins against Aberdeen and Celtic then these draws will be forgotten about
  20. Its a nice dream, and throw Hutton in at RB as well and Whittaker at LB (where i think he is better). Hutton______Bougherra_____Cuellar_____Whittaker = some defence!!
  21. Went into my first bookies in over a year yesterday and backed: Liverpool Seville Olympiakos Kiev 20 quid returned 95
  22. Agreed, if he was going to be removed it would have been done by now. The plums at the SFA need 6 or 7 meetings to discuss it. You just know the excuse is going to be along the lines of "we want to see come continunity (sp) and removing someone doesnt achieve that"....well if thats the case get the right man and give him a chance.

  24. TBH I can see the Premier League breaking up in the next 5 years and this will see the forming of a Euro super league. Money with the top clubs is going to keep on going up and their debts will increase also which means the will be looking for more revenue and playing in a Euro super league will give that. Premier League clubs already have the problem of having to pay higher wages than on the continent due to the 50p in the pound tax compared to about 20p in Spain. The real power and ability to control this is at the bottom of the triangle with the fans. If people stopped going to football matches for a period then clubs would collapse. I just wish those multi million pound primadonas would realise that sometimes!
