I wonder if it would be possible to keep a team in the Scottish leagues which would be made up of our reserves or U21's if that was allowed. Considering we have pulled our reserve team out of that league it would seem a good idea even if we had to start off in Div 3. That way we are still represented in Scotland and other clubs would still get to play the OF and it would be on a bit more of an even playing field. Im sure a reserve Rangers and Celtic team would still manage to pull a bit of a crowd in. One rule would have to be that the squad would be submitted before the season starts and there could be no first team players moving to the reserves during the season.

Best question yet! Just stop him gaining entry and let him bark on about not getting in which will make him look like a child mumping about being grounded. But what gets me most about the article is its all 1 sided. You dont need to sit in the Celtic end to hear the songs they sing. The poor guy thinks he is a journalist. -

Miller gets MOTM for me for being the match winner and a great performance until he was moved out to the right. Both his goals were taken well and he out muscled their defence for both of them. Weir was good along with fine first half performances from Davis and mendes. Mendes went out the game when Lafferty came on and we switched to 5 in midfield with Mendes playing a more defensive role. Agree with Ascender, boyd's only contribution was for the goal, he didnt touch the ball other than that. he also contributed to the 2nd goal by missing the ball which meant it was in Miller's path.

Id have no problem with Papac moving to centre half long term, he hasnt been bad there at all, and that allows Smith in at LB. But at the moment Papac is and should be first pick at LB. He is arguably our most consistant performer in the last 12 months. Its good to see Smith back and getting form back for the long term also but he cant be rushed after his injury problems.

Fair play to sunderland on a good performance and having a go at Old trafford. Steve Bruce is probably the best english manager going about at the moment. That result opens up the top of the league if its a draw at Chelsea today plus Arsenal win there games in hand - Blackburn today plus Bolton at home.

Just shows how wrong it was to a) not sign a defender in the summer and b) even letting Webster go. Weir and whoever stands in is still as good or better than Caldwell and McManus. -

Who? Ive got 2 draws on in the early matches between Coventry v leicester and Preston v West Brom. 0-0 in the latter match as im watchin it but not sure abou the score at coventry. (or cuventry as some commentators say)

the first thing we need to do is work out if we are better with 1, 2 or 3 upfront. We are still chopping and changing every week. Look at the top teams like Chelsea - they know its going to be Drogba and Anelka - easy. Looking long term, I see Lafferty being first choice. He is what 22? he was a different player through the middle last season and offered almost as much as Cousin did when Cousin wanted to play. I see the argument for having Boyd off Lafferty but the way i see it if we have a skillful pacey player like Miller, Naismith or novo playing off Lafferty it will cause defences much more problems. These headaches are what WS should be craving, instead he is sticking to negative defensive play.

Boyd wont start Seriously though, it has to be Novo with Lafferty or Miller. 2 from that 3 will cause that shite defence problems galore and get in about them. Novo will give them a torrid time.

Shite I was looking at next weeks games when Dundee have Partick. Notts C have lost 3 out of 5 league away games this season.
