Good result but not sure about the performance. Read it was all the Czech's. Fletcher missing again in a Scotland shirt? Hopefully we get B Ferguson back. Plus with McFadden and 1 or 2 others to come back from injury our squad looks stronger again.

Red car and the blue car had a race... All red wants to do is stuff his face.... He eats everything he sees from trucks to prickly trees... But smart old blue he chose the milkyway....

Obviously a 4-5-1 from Levein otherwise I cant think of a reason why Boyd wouldnt be playing. Dorrans is a winger so if McFadden doesnt make it then Dorrans will come in on the left i assume which means it has to be a 4-5-1. Silly if he is playing McFadden upfront and not having Boyd as the standby. And what is with having 2 on standby, arent the rest of the squad on standby? I think Whittaker is more deserving of a place than Dixon and Im far from Whittakers biggest fan but I think he has always done better at LB - throw in 10 goals this season compared to a player many havent heard of - and thats not blue tinted spec on. Other than that its not a bad looking team. Thomson coming in is quite refreshing as its about time he got his international career on track

Didnt Caldwell some how win this last year though? Id say McGregor should be up there with any of that names. Some of his saves and performances have been top notch and worth a few points. The save at parkhead in the 1-1 game was incredible and away to Falkirk he had an outstanding double save while we were drawing from which we went up the park and scored. POTY McGregor for me followed by Davis.

Thats the best Scotland shirt Ive seen in a long time. Just shows Adidas are the top dogs when it comes to football shirts.

Thats a song and half...i cant stop singing it....

Absolutely! The Goons are right back in the title hunt for my 10/1 bet. And West Ham are next up at the Bridge! We'll go there and stuff them.
-
Brilliant. I must admit I like Bellamy also, never shy for a word or 2. When Tevez squared up to terry Bellamy was the first one there with a few words to say.
-
Unbelieveable to lose Ramsay for a year but only 3 points behind Chelsea when they have to go to Liverpool, Man Utd, Spurs and blackburn.... Goons for the title :spl:
-
Yessssss Tevez 1-1
-
Bastards. Fat Frank scored. Never mind Gooners....Chelsea still have got Blackburn, Spurs, Man Utd and Liverpool all AWAY and West Ham at home so plenty points dropped there.
-
Just a quick snub by Bridge while most Man City players didnt look at Terry, while other Chelsea players gave Bridge a big handshake. Pity Vieira wasnt playing to add some spice from his Arsenal rivalry against Chelsea. But City should still be good enough for a point.
-
Yip not any more...but he was out of the game for a long time. Absolute Gent of a man and would loved to have seen him in a role at Ibrox.

That was the Van Vossen miss game when Gascoigne missed a pen and Goram saved Van Hooijdonks pen in the last minute. Nov 1996 to be precise But I cant single out a Laudrup memory. But if i had to then it would be my first trip to an OF game...Hampden Oct 1994 (Celtic played their home games there that season) when we won 3-1 and laudrup tore away from Boyd, rounded Marshall and stuck it in the net.

Our scouting system hasnt been the best over the years. Before the financial mess its been long said we should be looking to getting past players who showed great affection for the club to do a bit of scouting or coaching for us. Numan, Laudrup, Albertz, Wilkins should all be consider for such roles.

Looking forward to watching the pre match handshake here to see if Bridge snubs Terry. Bookies are taking good bets on them shaking hands, tackling, bookings, shirt swapping and spotting the chick Terry nailed in the crowd. Personally if i was Bridge I'd shake hands and look the other way and put myself back in the England squad. In 20 years time he will look back and realise he was silly not going to a world cup over this. As long as Man City get a point or a win I dont care.

CARRY OOT........!!! you dont even need to buy any with your stock of homemade brew.

Carry out

Yip, 2/1 with most bookies and 6/5 Gers. 11/4 Rangers - Half time / full time is a bet I'll be putting on plus Miller at 5/1 to get the first goal. 30/1 Rangers to win 2-0 with Miller scoring first.

2-0 for me also. and :kb:

Both Arsenal and Chelsea will be happy with Stoke and Man City playing an extra half hour as they have them this weekend respectively. Id like to see Mourinho go to Chelsea in the 2nd leg and win it. Mancini under a bit of pressure now, I dont think he has improved Man City at all, they are just a team who seem to draw too many games. Hopefully they get another draw or a win this weekend though and put Arsenal back in the title race.

Id go with Zappa's 2nd team although I think WS is more likely to go with his first team. I cant see Whittaker being left out the team and also think WS will deploy him midfield. Nobody has mentioned Edu. I didnt see his last game, how did he perform? Also, is Lafferty fit? If so I can see WS started him on left. IMO WS will play: *Depending on injury ____________________McGregor*____________________ Broadfoot_______Weir__________Bougherra______Papac Whittaker_______Davis________McCulloch_______Lafferty _______________Boyd_________Miller________________

Probably the most confident Ive been going into a OF game for a while. Their defence is shambolic and we should be setting out with attacking players like Novo and Davis getting up to support Boyd and Miller. Thomson and McCulloch will probably do the holding role. If Aberdeen can put 4 past them and Falkirk stuck 3 away then why cant we! If Whittaker plays midfield i'll be disappointed.
-
His all round game has improved for me. His work rate is up and he is getting involved with the ball and seems able to hold it up much better. But he still needs to prove it in the OF games and in Europe.

Stick Fletcher in to Blackburns team and he would be average, he hasnt had a good game for Scotland since the 1-0 1st leg playoff win over Holland about 6 years ago. He is shining due to being at Man Utd playing with top players and is running on confidence half the time. This is Man Utds worst midfield Ive seen since Kleberson and Djemba x 2. They are pretty lucky to still be in the title race and have lost 6 times already this season and are out the cup. If it wasnt for Rooney and the luck of having Wigan, Hull, Burley and Portsmouth at home during january they would be out of it. Adam has went down south to play for the unglamourous Blackpool who are pushing for a play off place in 1 of the toughest leagues around. He has got himself fit and scoring regularly. He was far from my favourite player at Ibrox but you have to applaud what he is doing in the Championship.
