Has potential to be a fairly quality RB / LB but his decision making lets him down. The mazey run in the 2nd half was him to a T. Great run but could have laid it off twice with a simple pass or had a shot but he had to try be the world beater and ran into a Hibs player and we lost possession. Had he done the simple thing then people would be giving him credit.

And young Aaron had a good start also. But I think there could be something different with Weiss.

I remember the other day we both said we are looking forward to Jelavic signing as we got a good feeling. Then you said you like unknown in the hopes we have a next Laudrup. Whilst Laudrup was in a class of his own this Weiss kid does still give that exciting feeling even though he has only played 25 mins. But he was MOTM 3 times at the WC and he wouldnt have been at Man City if he didnt have talent.

Even when I used to deteste Man Utd (not so much these days) I always like Giggs and Scholes and thought they were world class on and off the park. Scholes is flying at the moment. Easily the best English midfielder to play in the Premier league. Only Vieira and Keane are on par with him. But scholes has done it at every level - something Lampard hasnt done. Id say Gerrard has to an extent as he has won the CL plus has had some wonder games for England.

Id bite Spurs hand off at this. Parker is a good player but nothing spectacular. He is just standing out in a poor team. I like the guys Behrami and Kovac so they will cover Parker.

Wigan are awful and id say that reflects this scoreline as much as anything, especially when you consider Blackpool humped then 4-0 and they got hammered by Arsenal today. Chelsea couldnt have asked for a better fixture list in the first 3 weeks - Stoke, wigan and West Brom.

He did come out and say we should judge things at the end of the transfer window when it seemed we werent active at all in the transfer market. In typical Rangers fashion when it seems nothing is going to surface and within the space of 1 week we have a much healthier looking group with 3 additions yet Barazite and Welcome could have been added aswell but probably would have been too much. No doubt WS will be asked in this weeks press conference if he is finished in the transfer market and it will be interesting to see if he says we are looking at 1 or 2 others which would probably be a vertasile defender or centre midfielder. I do think we are still 1 short. Last week we had Davis with flu, McCulloch suspended and Fleck injured - thats surely going to happen again this season. Although id have no worries about playing Bougherra centre mid. People can be judgemental about the way we do business and how poor our scouting is at time but we still normally deliver.

Good luck to Dundee Utd. Cant see them going through over 2 games but Tannadice might have a good atmosphere which would be an 12th man for Utd. However AEK are a good side. Hope Motherwell go through also. Would chuckle to see Utrecht win....is their any cups left for Celtic to drop into after this one? Johnstones Paint trophy maybe??? Only consolations of celtic going through would be a seedings boost for the SPL and if they had no European campaign they would be able to fully concentrate on the league...so either way for me. Villa, Liverpool and Man City should all go through.

Miller and Jelavic for me also although Id be happy to see a front 3 with Lafferty added also. Will be very interesting to see the formation. Although isnt Ally a fan of 4-4-2 (we seemed to always play that in cups games he was in charge off). It could be he has a strong influence on the formation as he inherits this squad next summer.
