  1. The most ridiculous mentioning yet. All for something that hasnt been proven. Just put 11 carboard cuts out. Im glad there was an article today with 3 players, one Glenn Murray who say may aswell not play of celebrations cant be done. How many have you seen drop dead on the pitch yet - zero and it will remain zero.
  2. Bill - same as Itten and Roofe Id like to see Zungu get more minutes. SG has a record that isnt broken and just wants to add so these guys are going to have to wait. As for your comment - I was in agreement yet Kamara should / could be more box to box and it all depends on who we are playing.
  3. Andy Walker (shock horror) did slate them and call for them to resign. That was on Talksport.
  4. RE Jack and Scotland - why he isnt first pick as holding midfielder especially when McTomiany is at the back is baffling. I hear so many harp on about McGinn - I watched Serbia away and he was ultra rank first half - I dont know where his plaudits come from. He wouldnt be near the starting XI for me with the list of replacements. Jack should also be first choice RB - he can play there easily yet all I saw in the last scotland games was a defender with a tash Ive no idea who he was. And this coming from someone who wasnt originally the biggest Jack fan.
  5. You do wonder if Jose is about to implode again and through the toys out. Form has been awful. Bar Son and Kane they are average yet Lucas Moura is a player I rate who never gets a run - how he was drop after the CL semi at Ajax was criminal. No team with Dier and and older Tody Ald wins anything - zero pace and too many attacks with exploit that.
  6. Id give Jack the first hour in this game next to Kamara with Davis getting a bit of a rest. Id probably go with Hagi Aribo and Kent infront of them with Morelos up top. I would like to see Roofe and Itten getting more minutes but more so in home games first. Yet in saying that Jack and Kamara next to each other earlier on in the season was getting a but stale in some games - Livingston away was the biggest example.
  7. Ive went 0-3 to Spurs. I just thought Id have a bet with Compo's prediction as he left Spurs blank ? I hope your both right about West Ham though. I cant see it. Useless against the teams "we should beat" i.e Newcastle, Palace, brighton and in previous seasons Watford and Bournemouth.
  8. Agree. Out of the 3 away games in January this is the banana skin for me but if we get an early goal then Id see us winning comfortably. The only upside of Motherwell having a new manager is surely they wont sit in for 90 minutes with a 5-5-0 formation like the recent trip to Ibrox meaning they would be easier to open up.
  9. I'll have a fiver on that and just wait and see how many Spurs score ??
  10. To me it seems they are just working the way up the leagues to suspend the whole lot.
  11. Dundee's answer will be interesting - if they can give one! RE the points - I hadnt been folllowing this as I thought Motherwell already had the points on the board, Im sure they jumped the league table at the time. To reverse it shows the unprofessionalism and incompetence of those running the game. And as for Doncaster saying yesterday 'null and void' is on the table for the Premiership is beyond belief.
  12. Motherwell 0-3 Rangers Tav FGS
  13. Arsenal slip up again at the Emirates last night, I had it down for 1-1 so thats close enough. The 3 recent wins papers over the cracks. Anyway: Wolves 2-0 West Brom Leeds 2-1 Brighton West Ham 0-0 Burnley Fulham 1-3 Chelsea Leicester 2-1 Southampton Sheff Utd 0-3 Tottenham Liverpool 2-0 Man Utd Man City 3-0 Crystal Palace Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle
  14. Interesting the Wolves manager Nuno Santo under pressure for the first time at Wolves. They seem to be in a bit of a struggle yet perhaps over achieved in the past 2 seasons. He is a manager I rate and thought would be a good fit for Arsenal.
  15. That puts Steve Bruce under massive pressure. Man Utd almost over the line and will go top, plus they have Liverpool at the weekend - if they dont lose that then they are fully in the driving seat.
  16. Update. Tottenham 3-0 Fulham. Cant believe Man Utd could be top tonight but I think they will come up short, Burnley will dig in - they have had a few good results. I thought Dyche had maybe taken them as far as he could but they are picking up.
  17. Agree about Der Goalie. We had a world cup winner in Charbonnier but was replaced instantly. Im surprised about the lack of support (probably wrong words) for McGregor though. Two decades! Im taking Greegs right now. Goram was outstanding but I think McGregor has surpassed him.
  18. Who was the Danish international we had who barely got a game? Jesper C? Blessed with keepers. Its a position that is possibly taken for granted. I have always liked keepers - my best mate in the 90s big brother was at Scotland U21 and Hibs - I stole his Patrick boots ? He was top drawer.
  19. Graham Roberts possibly could have been on the shortlist ?
  20. Someone (der Beliner) will need to do that maths but Im sure McGregor has won more trophies than Goram. Albeit cups but Im sure thats right. Interesting comments on Woods - i was slightly too young to remember him but he was no.2 to Englands best ever keeper.
  21. Im a big Jim Leighton fan after training with him once when I was a kid. The intensity in him was unbelievable. Everything hit at him - he attacked. It got me a good insight into keepers.
  22. The fact Niemi and world cup winner Charbonnier doesnt enter the conversation says a lot. I am leaning towards McGregor - he has done it for a longer period of time.
  23. It has to be asked - McGregor is that good. does he surpass the goalie?
  24. We welcome a decent team from Aberdeen ?
  25. Midweek games. Sheffield Utd 0-0 Newcastle Burnley 1-0 Man Utd Wolves 2-1 Everton Man City 4-0 Brighton Aston Villa 1-3 Tottenham Arsenal 1-1 Crystal Palace Fulham 1-2 Chelsea
