The one I disagree with is Whittaker. No more than a 6 for me. Blew hot and cold but more often cold....when he was awful he was really awful, but was capable of good games also.
-
And McCulloch and Hutton.....
-
The only SPL players id consider adding would be Eremenko and Templeton. Was quite impressed with the latter last Saturday. Goodwillie has a bit of talent so could be another.
-
Dont disagree with much of that.
-
What is refreshing is Hutton, Ness and Wylde are like 3 new signings. They have all established themselves in the matchday squad. A solid centre half and centre midfielder would be on top of my list.

You cant beat the feeling of a final day win as we know too well in 2003 and 2005, but its a bit like when England are in the World cup, i often dont mind seeing them get to the quarters then go out: But I always say while they are in it, they can win it so the sooner they are out the better. Hence if its wrapped up tonight it would be equally sweet.

Remember we have Beattie to come back, and possibly Velicka?? A lot will depend on the loans. Would like Weiss and Bartley back for another season. Foster did ok when called upon so wouldnt be bad cover, and Healy would be a better squad player than Diouf. Naming new signings will be tough to say until we know the budget. I wouldnt do any knee jerk reations especially with the likes of Edu. 3 good games out of 40 doesnt make him a good player, but he has shown he has the ability. Ive always said Lafferty has something in his locker and now he is playing through the middle with Jelavic we are seeing a good partnership developing, they are both big strong and quick.

The thing is I think we have capable of that all season. Its just that in the last few games a sorted 4-4-2 with players in proper positions has clicked. We did have a few good games earlier in the season notiably Aberdeen and Celtic away, the goals at Pittodrie were good counter breaking stuff.

1) Hearts win tonight and Gers are champs? 2) Go to Kilmarnock on Sunday and win the title there? I would like to go and win it but certainly wouldnt argue with Hearts winning tonight and putting it the bag early.

It makes you wonder how good we would have been if we had played the type of football we are playing now in the last 3-4 years. I felt it was wrong of WS to announce his retirement in advance, and during this season had so many reminders of 1998, but one more performance on Sunday lays all the ghosts of 1998 to rest. It would just be wrong if we didnt win on Sunday.

They have given us an allocation almost the same amount as their biggest crowd of the season yet they are moaning that we could sell their ground out and given them a big pay day going into the summer. I was thinking about this watching the game on Sunday that the home stands had so many empty seats and that it only makes sense to allocated a section of those stands to Rangers fans.

Its the only thing he'll win!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/13344486.stm Really thought WS should have got this, our form has been superb. How many goals and wins of late!! I hope McGregor or Jelavic get Player of the month. McGregor has about 8 clean sheets out of 9 (Hamilton, St Johnstone, Aberdeen, Celtic, Dundee utd (a), Motherwell, Hearts, Dundee Utd (h))

Rangers 2 - 0 Dundee Utd - Player Ratings and MoM Poll
Gribz replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Really tough one to pick between Weir, Davis and Jelavic for me. But I'll give it to: :sd: I excluded him from my team of the season on another thread the other day as I feel he has been well below average, but last night he was everywhere and looked a new player. -
Well done. Cyber pint for you
-
I was onto something here. Naismith would have got a 3rd if the tactics didnt change
-
Rangers 3-0 Dundee Utd Jelavic, Naismith, Lafferty.

Wheres the preview for tonights game Craig? Surely you still cant be feeling the effects of all that champers from your birthday last week?
-
The thing with Wilkins is he is a gentleman and i dont think money is his first desire. I definetly think he'd fancy a taking on such role for maybe one season. Ally has learned a lot from being a no.2 but stepping up to no.1 is a different game and to turn to an experienced no.2 would see him through his first season a lot easier IMO.
-
Im happy to give Ally a crack at it, but Id be a lot more happy with Ally if we got a bigger name / good No.2 brought in like Ray Wilkins. No disrespect to Kenny McDowall or Durrant but having an experienced guy like Wilkins would make a huge difference.
-
Would rather have Diouf than Beattie back, but Weiss and Bartley would be way ahead of Diouf. We could get a lot worse players but if he doesnt stay on then its no great loss.
-
If we are dipping into the SPL for players top of list (and it would be a short list from the SPL) would be Eremenko from Killie. I think he would fit into our midfield fine.
-
Killie getting a draw isnt to impossible and will have a wee bet on that, but Im more looking at Tuesday as I think Hearts could also get a point.
-
Was expecting last weeks Arsenal v Man U game to be a title decider but Arsenal messed up with too many silly draws and now Chelsea have crawled back. I hope Man U win, would like to see Ferguson get his 19th title which knocks Liverpool off their perch. Should be a good game, 2-1 Man U.
-
Davis has had some stinkers this season though. Ok if it was a big Euro game and we were picking first choice team then we'd play Davis. But Ness was very effective and looks a player in the making.
-
A title party on Tuesday against Utd. Killie to beat Celtic tomorrow. We shall not be moved.................
