Id honestly prefer we take Velicka back from Aberdeen that resign Boyd and I dont think Velicka can kick a ball anymore.

Head says 2-0 Rangers, heart says 3-0. They have an absolute rank defence plus upfront they couldnt get past Dundee Utd, Inverness and Killie and home so if we perform it could be a stroll.
-
Unbelievable, I was planning on going down tomorrow.

Read the report on the BBC then look at the teams. Without doubt the worst celtic team since early 90s when they almost went bust. Didnt even recognise half the names. Cant wait for the NY OF derby, WS gets a strong side out and we should pump them.

Rangers 2 - 1 Falkirk - Closed doors victory for bears
Gribz replied to Rangers Football Club's topic in Rangers Chat
Wasnt sure to put this in this thread or the "we cant buy anyone thread". If we got all our injured players back (and they all cant be far away) then things dont seem to doom and gloom, of course unless we start to pick up more injuries - Webster is a banker anyway. The players have had the best part of 3 weeks without playing which is a good chance to recharge some batteries for the mass fixture pile up in the 2nd half of the season. But if players like Hutton, Wylde, Fleck, Ness, Little, Kerkar, Weiss all get more games and perform well then its all good. At the moment Hutton would be in my starting XI and id like to see Fleck and Kerkar get on more. Weiss has ability but seems to be thinking elsewhere and he hasnt played on the right where he should. Jelavic is 1-2 weeks away from returning meaning we have him, Miller, Lafferty and Beattie available upfront. Throw in Fleck, Naismith and Weiss to play attacking roles and our forward options are fine. Centre midfield is still where Im concerned, I wasnt a big Kevin Thomson fan but when he was sold I knew the numbers went down to low. Hutton looks a player though. Centre half is light also but if Webster can make himself available it would be a help. The "limited" Broadfoot has embarrassed Webster this season with good performances and the fact I found astounding was Weir has missed less games than Webster has played for Rangers in the last 3 years. -
Based on their last 3 home games they are welcome to play the rest of their season at Parkhead (Dundee Utd draw, Caley Draw, Killie Draw)
-
Im pissed off because I backed Killie at 6/1 and they were 5 mins away from winning. Killie have been good away of late and Celtic have been shite at home drawing with Dundee Utd, Inverness and getting torn apart by us in the 2nd half in the last OF game so I had a flutter on Killie.

Cant recall so many top flight games being called off when the old orange balls were still used. Normally it would be a white pitch with the lines being cleared and the orange ball would be used.

Walter Smith Says SPL Cannot extend the season - SSN
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I like WS approach here reminding them about 2 years ago but at the same time an extension would benefit us. But the difference here is we wouldnt be the only team with fixture pile up so make them get on with it.- 10 replies

Crikey the fixture pile up after New Year is going to be mental.

Germany has a population of 80 million so are always going to get higher crowds. But the Bundesliga is one I watch sometimes and enjoy it. The whole set up is ran well and has a good knock on effect even for the national side who were the best to watch in the World Cup and was the best Ive ever seen a German team play, plus they are a young side. Prices in the SPL must be reduced and higher numbers would come through essentially giving clubs more income. But the argument for summer football is another which would increase attendances, everyone would rather go to a match on a warm July evening than in a freezing Feb night.
-
What this is saying is the league campaign would be qualifiers for the the SPL Cup competition. Horrendous idea.
-
Seems the SPL is going to go backwards, I didnt think that would be possible. Nonsense like this coming out and plans edging towards a 10 team league which would kill it.
-
Only the SPL could come up with such nonsense. the team that wins the league 'doesnt' win it!
-
I cant see them doing this, far too much common sense involved here. Would be good if they just dropped the talk and said yes we will extend it by 1 week or 10 days.
-
Had Hearts on and bust my coupon. Thought they would have enough and move level on points with Celtic.

I thought Seaman wasnt far off Schmeichel and would be one of the best keepers the Premier League has had. I think it was his unfashionable style that didnt appeal too all. I still cant beleive he saved Daillys header at Wembley that would have put us 2-0 up. Even Schmeichel had the odd error. But I cant recall Goram making a mistake. During the 90s those 2 were as good as it got.

Gordon pulled of save of the season in the Sunderland v Bolton match....its was Seaman esk from the FA cup semi against Sheff Utd years ago. What got me annoyed was pundit Gary O Reilly coming out with Scots keepers dont usually do that sort of thing....what a wank....Goram, Leighton, Sullivan (to an extent), McGregor and Gordon easily match Englands best keepers of late. Seaman was up there with the best but so was Goram and Leighton.

Gordon Bennett!! Was looking forward to this one! Get the old orange ball out and scrape around the lines.

Might end up doubling his punishment when he loses the plot at Ibrox aswell

Rangers dissatisfied after Euro dates sandwich Old Firm game
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I guess the only good thing is the 1st leg is at Ibrox. if we were away in Portugal on the Thurs night then not flying back to Glasgow until Friday would have been much worse. -
Decent draw and certainly a good chance to make it through both rounds.
-
Yeah its true though. People are too busy talking about what is and isnt allowed to be said or sang, what is and isnt right, who is wrong and who is right and now wanting us to get put out of a competition. If thats the case then scrap the game altogether. Im talking about everyone from fans of all clubs to those who think they know about the game and can threaten teams with point deduction for singing - you wonder what the game is coming to, its suffering in all walks and then the so called powers that be penalise their top club with fixture conjestions and rules which are from the victorian era. We forget why we watch Rangers in the first place, its for football and winning and enjoyment. Calscot is right about the last UEFA run, the league title wasnt won IMO due to what Cal stated earlier.

I remember that start to the season well, it was my first game at Ibrox and we lost 1-0 to St Mirren. Chris Woods bashed his shoulder against the post and dropped the ball and St Mirren took the lead.
