  1. But IF (big if) words were changed and all sang words relating to Rangers....or even said we are Struth boys (like Man U do with Busby) surely that cant be wrong? Im confused, I honestly dont know what is banned / illegal / allowed on songs and words and for who (see last sentence). I know sectarism is one thing and Im for stamping that out altogether, the removal of the word fenian should go and can be done IMO but the majority need it in black and white. But I also feel strongly about you cant have rules for one and not for another. Celtic, Aberdeen, Hibs, Hearts, Dundee utd are all at fault also with vile but I dont see any authorites or their own clubs making statements against them.
  2. You've missed my point. IF the words could be changed by everyone attending then why can it not be sang. As i said if other fans can sing it with non banned / illegal (Im unsure what is still illegal) words then why cant we. Dont get me wrong I couldnt imagine 43000 managing to change words but IF it was changed then by all means sing it.
  3. How long would it take for them to make a complaint that we werent doing the bouncy but pretending to jump up and down on Lennon's head.
  4. Can you email them with this?
  5. Agreed. Its all about changing 1 word and nobody can say anything. It obviously cant be the 'song' TBB which is banned else why arent Man Utd fans being threatened with arrests as they clearly use this tune to Busby boys and even say "if you are a city fan surrender or you'll die" - now isnt that equally as offensive. The club needs to take a stand and make it clear in black and white if it is words or songs that is not allowed. IMO TBB should be belted out on Sunday with the change of a few words. We could even go Man Utds route. "If you are a celtic fan surrender or you'll die"
  6. Sunday is WS last OF Derby and he has a good record.....I can only see him want to go out in a good way and winning his last OF derby. He has to go for the same approach as he did in the league cup final.

    Sunday

I cant wait either, but I would rather see the mhanks throwing themselves off their own stands rather than the Broomloan rear  Early start on Sunday for me...Saturday evening beers then a full Sunday sesh in time for the 7:45pm kick off....and monday off work
  8. Yup I remember starting the thread a while ago and it was different situation. Then I fancied the games in hand as we had about 3 winnable games but were only about 6 points behind and winning them put us in a better position. Now id rather have the points on the board simply because its in our hands regardless if they win their game in hand. Win on Sunday and its ours to lose.
  9. Real 1 up from the cup win last night. I fancy them to go on and win the CL semi.
  10. Sets Sunday up for a cracking day. We just have to remember we win our games and we are champions.
  11. 700k he has spent. Id be quite pissed off if I was him.
  12. See what your saying but the timing is a bit fishy considering Whyte wanted the deal wrapped up by now.
  13. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/13127427.stm Come on Ally, defend the club a bit more, lets have a statement saying in black and white what is not allowed. Cant be 1 law for Rangers fans and other laws for the rest. The filth Celtic and Aberdeen fans sing should be in the same boat. I think it should be passed in law that certain songs are illegal.
  14. Would be the most realistic option and would be more of atmosphere to have it in a cup format. It would be good for the others also, Im sure if the likes of Hearts got Liverpool it would open be a good game and the added revenue for the Scottish clubs can only be good and stop the gap growing further between SPL and EPL. Maybe a good format would be for the last 8 from each country meet each other in an open draw. It gives teams more to play for in the earlier round rather just hoping for a pay day in getting the OF in a lter round.
  15. First name on the team sheet for me even though a keeper normally is first. McGregor along with an inform Bougherra and Jelavic are the only genuine top players we have at the moment IMO. Obviously Davie Weir has been top class and still pulls out cracking performances but I cant see him playing on next season. Davis just hasnt done it this season although has the ability at times. Ness and Hutton are in the promising boat but need to play more of the same next season. Weiss and Bartley were terrific but dont belong to us.

    Lee McCulloch

One of the reasons we have missed him is because Edu has been so bad. Having McCullochs drive both on and off the field will be a timely boost though.
  17. I know what you mean Andrew having used to live there also. Its a dangerous place! I would still want the club to take a stronger stand against all SPL clubs and refuse away tickets for a season to hit them in the pockets.

    Kerkar

I think he is really Alan Gow.
  19. Precisely why Ive barely discussed any talkover on any thread this season. Everything is speculation until its a done deal and these snags have been far to common. I never did think it was going to be done 2 weeks ago when it was supposed to be the final day.
  20. I think so. All going well that will just be a warm up for Stuart McCall to check them out for the Cup final. This game at Tannadice is the big one for me.
  21. Dundee Utd 0-1 Rangers Jelavic Another 1 goal win for me and Jelavic to the rescue once again. The SPL have potentially messed up with any plans not to have a OF title decider. As you said on the other thread Ian if both with this midweek then this weekend is the decider
  22. At 80 million? Messi would be worth 120 million if that price is to go anything by.
  23. True. Older footy kits are in fashion and they are even making them again. I saw the Scotland World Cup 86 for sale last time I was in the shop. I have a lot still in good condition but the late 80s early 90s kits would too small for me, but from 1994 onwards I would always buy a adult large so they all still fit. I do have our 1989 away kit with the half red half white diagonal line with McEwans Lager in a large and would wear that no prob at all.
  24. You dont say!! Congrats to him but IMO its the first 2-3 months of the season that won it for him. Other than that he has been average. McGregor and Miller would have been my picks. Ness and Hutton get a mention for bursting onto the scene and looking good for the future. Jelavic would have won it hands down if he wasnt injured for a chunk of the season.
  25. Dont like having a new kit every season as it is, too many kits get forgotten about compared to the 80s and 90s when we cold name pretty much all kits as they were used for 2-3 seasons. People might think its a good money maker for the club but id be more inclined to buy a kit knowing it was going to be valid for 2-3 seasons rather than 10 months. As for this one, I quite like it. If it was a round neck it would look superb.
