An option for the getting Commons would be to give him the 20k/week then let Weiss return to Man City in the summer and use whatever share of Weiss wage we are paying towards Commons.

The way WS was talking in his interview Novo is also a target but he has purely ruled out a return for Boyd - thank goodness. If we got Commons and Novo its 2 more attack minded players so i woudl love to see how he fits them in with his reluctance to drop Davis and McCulloch when they arent performing well. Blackpool were great in the first half and Adams passing was quality but what went uncommented was when he tries the little skillful flicks here and there he buggars up. Good game though. If Gray and Keys were joking and were having banter with what they said then yes it would have been funny and acceptable but they were out of line and stuck a few decades behind with this as if they were in a Gentlemans club only. I still think Novo would be a good option. He can play upfront, left or right and always puts in a good shift. It would be good if someone down south came in and took beattie off our hands. The guy must fill his boots with concrete.

Cleland and Bollan not in the running here?? Hutton was immense but only for a short period. Stevens was a quality player though. Sergio Porrini did a number of good shifts there and Ricksen on his day was good. Hutton for me.

that was a farce....the 3-3 game in 1995. It was a cracking goal. I even remember the TV thought it was a goal after it was chopped off and it said 1-1 for about 5 mins. Im going for Robertson seen as he went to the same school as me.
