^ 100% in agreement with Craig there. Walter did a fantastic job and Id even go as far as saying McLeish's sucess reign was partially down to Walter. Burley was so bad that he is probably making Levein look good. Looking at the qualifying group for WC 2014, there is 3 teams that we should at least be on par with, there isnt any of the big boys so Id like the SFA to bite the bullet and bring in a better manager for that campaign. There is nothing to fear from Serbia, Croatia or Belgium.

Well Im glad your not in charge. My point was players who are in form should be in the squad regardless of position.

Shouldnt call up's be all about current form???? Whittaker has possibly been our worst player this season but makes the squad. Id have called up Broadfoot well ahead of Whittaker to balance out the RB position.

Baffling why he wasnt in the squad in the first place. Whittaker is there and Wylde isnt...who has been the better performer this season??? Levein is a fud.

If Waller was in charge id be optimistic about maybe a draw but if Spain decide to have a go then it could be a scary night. Looking at the positives we do have one of the best keepers in Europe....id even say Allan Mcgregor would get into the Spanish squad (if he was Spanish). We might need a best night ever from The Shagger. If Levein played 4-6-0 (how was he even allowed to keep his job after that) against Czech Rep then what will he do against the World Champs?? Levein might be a worse manager than vogts, yet he will stay in the job via default. Lithuania will beat Czechs and we will be in the play offs. If Spain are in half the mood then it will be embarrassing. 10 years ago id actually fancy us with Ferguson, Lambert, Burley, Hutchison etc but Adam, mackeral doesnt near fill me with hope.

Plenty of places still to be decided and this week throws up a few good 'cup finals'. What I have noticed is a few of the old beating boys are now decent teams. Estonia, Lithuania, Armenia have all improved. Group A: Germany romped the group. Belgium lead Turkey by a point but have to go to germany in the last game while Turkey play Azerbaijan. Group B: Wide open. Russia, Celtic and Armenia all in with a shout. Russia have Andorra so will win the group. Celtic play Armenia for a play off spot. Group C: Italy win the group. Serbia have to beat Slovenia in the last game to make the play offs or Estonia take that place. Group D: France lead Bosnia by a point, they play in Paris to decide who wins the group and who goes into the play offs. Group E: A decided group. Holland win the group. Sweden in the play offs. Group F: Greece need a draw against Georgia to win the group. Croatia in the plays off unless Georgia win and they beat latvia. Group G: England win the group, Montenegro in play offs. Group H: Portugal v Denmark in the final game, winner qualifies. The loser should qualify as best runner up. Draw put Portugal in the finals. Group I: Spain romp the group. Scotland need to match or better Czech's result for play off. Scotland go to Spain, Czech's go to Lithuania.
