  1. Thought this thread was gonna be a wee sing song...Im up for that. Seriously, Michael Mols is still a fuckin good player, get a deal sorted out with him. Im sure he'd be up for it. MOLS MOLS MICHAEL MICHAEL MOLS.....
  2. Never thought about that TBH. Have Green and Whyte any background?
  3. Fed up of this let 'Rangers men' run the club. Let someone who has the best interests run it regardless who they support or played for. Being a rangers man doesnt mean they will steer the club the best. Are Arsenal ran by Arsenal men? Yet out of all the top EPL teams they operate in the black. And if Scottish football goes to the wall - which it shouldnt, just some SPL clubs will - then rebuild and start again. If Aberdeen, St Mirren etc then go into Admin they can start again like we are doing....let the Albion, Cowdenbeaths have a spell and rebuild the countries game from absolute scratch and in 15 years time it will be for the better. For me there will always be a product and demand for football. TBH the game has went so far back in the country a new start is probably needed from grass roots anyway. Who cares if Green isnt here for the long term. As long as he acts with Rangers best interests while here and sets up a nice platform for the next owners to come in then I dont have a problem if he is here 1 day or 1 decade. What I like about Green is he seems to be acting without any blinkers on and common sense can sometimes prevail in that situation.
  4. I dont like the way the players have ran away. But there is one or two I wouldnt have grudged a transfer onto bigger things anyway, Davis and McGregor have performed at top levels for us and any transfer would have been done with many fans best wishes. I'll say all the best to Davis but the fact you have walked out wont be forgotten. I genuinely hope McGregor gets a top English club, he is as good as any keeper in the top 6 in England. Just a pity we dont get a fee for him, however we didnt pay anything for Shagger and has served Rangers well. The other seniors we're all bought. Its Lafferty, Whittaker and Naismith I am disappointed in. 3 players we've stuck by through injury, immature behaviour and schoolboy performances and paid a fortune to them....then they came out with their desire for Rangers yet jumped at the first chance. Dont know what it was but even when Naismith was attempting to say the right things I still never bought it off him. These 3 wont be welcome back to Ibrox for me.
  5. Was this purely for SPL admittance only? If we are in the SFL are these wiped?
  6. The transfer sanction has to have some leaway like give us 3 weeks to put a maximum squad together then no signings from Aug 1st to end of the season.
  7. Does the transfer embargo exclude players who are free agents?? Thats the only way around putting a squad together with a transfer ban that I can see.
  8. Was just about to write what Edge put....I dont look at what reporters say. They cant call themselves journalists, a real journo does research based on facts and information...not simple narrate what he is told.

    Blues v Reds?

    Get a Division 3 XI
  10. Haha, superb Pete. Top of the Pops for you!
  11. A newco cant walk into Div1 IMO, its jumping up 2 leagues for financial gain for the rest of the top 2 divisions. Had we only went into Admin then they could justify this but a liquidated company is new and has to apply entry to the leagues. Annan Athletic play in Div 3 when they applied, why should we be different. The transfer ban is the one the club must utterly refuse. They want to pick and choose where we play but if we 6 players in training like Ally said then we will get relegated to Div 2. The mess the SFA / SPL have made of this is the most unprofessional and corrupt thing Ive ever seen.

    Blues v Reds?

We'll have to arranged something, even if its Div 3 we need some sort of friendlies to get the players available some match practice.
  13. Enjoyable video. Ally seems more laid back but in pure determination mode now, whereas at times last season he looked and was under immense stress. He's probably realised, right we are down...but now its fight back time.
  14. Brown Ive not much time for. Goram - legend and always talks sense, but seems he's jumping on his mates bandwagon here. Just let Green get on with a job in hand....nothing can be resolved until we have a league to play in. Thats uncertaincy straight away in terms of players and preparation, until thats sorted Green / McCoist / Anyone involved cant make a 1 year or 3 year plan to get back to the SPL. How can not 1 person run the club? I can see maybe OWNING it but we already see on the park when a director of football gets involved with the coach that things go tits up. Running a club will be the same.

    Now it begins

We've got a good relationship with the Real team in Milan. Get them signed up for an Ibrox tournament.
  16. Ibrox tournament: Rangers, Hamburg, AC Milan and draw one of the Div 3 clubs out of a hat.
  17. In a scenario when we are not accepted into the SFL Im sure others would look at it as a chance to benefit and invite us....whether that is NI league, English leagues or somewhere on the continent, we'd be too big a pull to turn down.
  18. See your point and taking that into consideration I personally would go a bit higher if I was buying a ST. But you cant expect the average Punter who makes the same amount as those working inside Ibrox or Murray Pk to be responsible for keeping others in jobs. Yes those who can afford it will pay another few quid per match to assist but not everyone could do so. I cant see us getting full houses so top tiers in Broomloan and Copland would probably remain shut for a season and can be maintained as low cost as possible. What arrangement does Queens Park have for maintaining Hampden? Is this paid on their behalf from the SFA?
  19. I cant see how it could be higher than 270 quid. (18 x 15)
  20. Agreed, their fate is in their own hands. Id rather meet them again in a few years in Div 1 or SPL and avoid their grounds.
  21. Whats the average ticket cost in Div 3 and 1?
  22. They are so badly organised it wouldnt surprise me if they couldnt make a decision and the SPL has 11 clubs next season, or Club 12 exists but no match takes place and each team gets awarded a 3-0 win.
  23. I agree, a full boycott makes the statement (although Id feel a bit sorry for Ross County). When we return to the SPL we should be selling seperate "season 'away' tickets" for entry to Ibrox and watch all our away games being screened back to Ibrox. Or charge a fiver per entry.
  24. I wonder how many attempts it would take them to spell a banner correctly with the word intergrity in it. They will have about 1 interesting game per season now, away to Hearts.
  25. I see what you are saying but for me its who ever is in control of the club that should be making stronger statements. Yes they have had hands tied but we shouldnt have allowed other clubs so much power. If we dont speak up we'll end up being the enemy regardless. Blamed if we play SPL, blamed if we play Div 1 then blamed again in Div 3 because the investment disappearing. From day 1 we should have went straight to Div 3 and start preparing for the season.
