Yes sir! Bring on the big boys

No way will it be a season of 7-0s, not even 4-0s. But we should have enough to win most matches and its all about 3 points this season regardless if its 1-0 every week. Promotion is a must. Good shout to say that we should be showing the club in good name and Im pretty sure we will. We should sell out every ground every week and make every game an atmosphere to remember for those teams.
-
Is there a list available with players who are available on a free. Im sure there will be a few out there with the same thoughts as Black and Shiels who fancy still playing for a massive club and a club who are on a mission and be part of history. If retired players like Windass and Savage are wishing themselves in the situation Im sure a few players who are playing fancy it, yet they might not be able to make it public knowledge like Savage can. Im all for a nucleus of youth and hoping Hemmings, Hutton and a few more step up, but its vital a few experienced heads join.

Ask Admin mate, see what they can get together.

Good to have another football discussion. With the mhanks claiming they will have the SPL wrapped up by Christmas (wont be hard with the junk that makes up the rest of the league), we should be aiming for something similar. If we manage to get 1 or 2 more signing in before Sept we should be looking to swiftly wrap up Div 3. Quite looking forward to a refreshing season and we'll probably be welcomed in the league. Having 2 trips to Hampden and with Clyde not having a bad ground I dont think Div 3 will be as ugly as some may think. Id settle for promotion by February.
-
Good lad. Think this is very shrewed signing. 1 or 2 more with the same ability and we could wrap the league up quite early.
-
Should get a number of Bears to sign your letter to make Sky realise this is not only '1' cancelled subscription. TV companies are like Airlines, individual complaints arent taken seriously.
-
Really hoping those 2 clubs do well this season. The rest can jog on and they are going to suffer quite bad.
-
TBH I wouldnt mind seeing us try a 3-5-2 or 4-3-3 this season, Ive been a fan of 3-5-2 for years. If you have the right players in right positions it works a treat. I always thought there was no need for 4 defenders in SPL matches and even more so now in Div 3 if we can field Broadfoot, Goian and Boca at the back.

I wouldnt go as far as saying 'loving your pain', but it shows what a bit of patience does and that it doesnt take someone with blue specs on to sort the situation out. But furthermore, its a bit of a big middle finger up to Naismith and Whittaker. There interview before they left is cringeworthy now.

Hutton! I knew someone was missing. Has to start IMO.
-
If it was a league game I could see it being that team, but I think McCoist may opt for more youngsters in this cup match. Also not sure if Ally would play some of the guys who are leaving for a few reasons.
-
Would certainly be happy with that.

We'll have to agree to disagree on Giggs v Beckham debate. For me Giggs is the better player and profession by a country mile. Agree RE Uruguay though, they are as good a nation around at the moment and wouldnt be surprised if they won the World Cup in 2014.

You cant be serious with that? These fat cats and corrupt jokers have ruined the game and they should be held accountable, although I think they should stick around to clean up the mess for a while. The Scottish game has needed revamped and restructured for years and years yet its taken the Rangers issue to make everyone hit rock bottom and if we have to start again to climb up then Ive been saying we should start again for years from everything to Summer football to ex Pro's / managers running the game to an 18 team SPL. Of course I want to see Rangers on the up playing Bayerns etc, and we will get their again!

Superb interview. Hits so many nails on the head. Has a proper dig at the SPL saying Scotland havent qualified for a tournament since they took over. Really like Green, seems very sensible. Just because he didnt come out all guns blazing some had a doubt, but he has acted professionally with common sense and with no blinkers on. Cream rises to the top and he has more dignity in his hand than Doncaster and Regan have together. Yesterday was the start of a new good era for Rangers and the next chapter. This journey can begin!
-
Once again Im impressed with everything Green says.

Yeah microphone in one had, the other typing it on the keyboard on here for us in foreign lands will do nicely Ian....Need one of those long curly straws coming out of your pint glass for sip any ale.
-
Was just typing this almost word to word. They are easily both SPL standard (althought the SPL isnt great remember), but in lower leagues should be very useful.
-
Is that balloon Delahunt still on the go? He used to ruin my Sunday lunch, I had forgot he existed until I seen this post...cheers Ian :box: How patronising is he trying to be! Another bitter man.

Jeez, Kyle looks Boyd look like a 100m sprinter! Speaking of which, where is Boyd at the moment? I think we'll see a number of former SPL players who are out of a club actually fancing the chance to play for Rangers. The likes of Dean Shiels should ease Div 3. We can be done with as much players offering there services as we can get. Really not sure about Kyle though unless he gets on the Kelloggs 2 week diet.....or it is Ramadan at the moment perhaps he could participate with that.

Super Ally...... The first paragraph concerns me though, do we have players registered? It really woudlnt surprise me if we went to Brechin won the game then got kicked out that cup for fielding illegible players. Cracking statement from Ally, thats probably about as clean as he could keep it. He's gone beyond legend status for what he has done. But the only way is up and forward from now that we're back playing football. I used to be one for revenge but now believe more so in not dropping to ones level, karma will take care of it. But those wankers at the SPL and SFA are going to have one tough ride. As I posted about 2 weeks ago when the focus was on Regan, that Doncaster was as damaging IMO.....he just looks corrupt to the core. Im seeing all the message of laughter on facebook etc from others but I dont think it will be too long before we get a sly smile or two.
-
Giggs is by far the better example for a footballer IMO.
-
They should have had better communications with their representatives at SFL and SFA to ask them they need notice to arrange a game, it would save everyone involved cost and time. I dont think Id be going to mass expense decorating a party if Madonna said she was going to my house yet she wasnt allowed to buy air tickets. Where is the common sense. They should have looked at postponing the match.

Another golden oldie offers to help out Rangers-windass
Gribz replied to Steve1872's topic in Rangers Chat
At least 4 or 5 experienced players are going to be needed in the squad all with the desire and hunger to get Rangers back up. Already having McCoist and McCulloch around is a good start. A Davie Weir would have been good. As for retired players it all depends what condition they are in. Looking at the Milan match the likes of Numan, Mols, Albertz and De Boer did all look in good shape but playing competitive football for a season is a different game. They were up against a relaxed Milan side. As for Windass, he was a top shelf dick when he was at Aberdeen, I remember getting my haircut and he walked in and told the hairdresser to stop me and start on him instantly and he wasnt joking.
