Considering its a national company (Sky) covering all UK then the TV deal is a joke. 80m over 5 years to 12 clubs when Wigan receive that same amount in 24 months puts it into perspective. I know the Premier League is a far better league to watch but I wouldnt be tuning in to see games like Stoke v Wigan over Rangers v Hearts.

Great appointment for Swansea, high profile and could attract some cracking players there. They could really establish themselves as a long term EPL club if this goes to plan. Wouldnt be good to see them finish above Liverpool next season.

Im thinking it could be a 6-6 vote. But I still think those voting no will use money excuse and when the crunch comes they will vote yes for money reasons and know a 25 pt sanction will be in place. On paper the first 3 are Portugal, Germany and Spain but I think we could see a few upsets in the Quarters. Czechs and France could sneak through. But I'll go with this: QF 1 : Czech Republic 1-2 Portugal QF 2 : Germany 4-0 Greece QF 3 : Spain 2-1 France QF 4 : Italy 2-1 England

That was a poor group England were in. Once / if Spain and Germany start to click then England will be thumped by one of them. Italy are playing better than England and should beat them.

Last night was. Thats the first Ive seen them this tournament. Cant see them winning it playing like that, they have to step up at least 2 gears. As good as that Iniesta is I think he's a bit of a wee cheat, I recall something at the WC also.

If it was still May or the first wek of June I can understand a 2 week notice period, but considering we've known for a while about a vote then they should have been setting a 1 week notice. Everyones had long enough to think about it....they want Rangers out but still want the income. Now the next 2 weeks will be looking at the scenarios of having Newco in the SPL with sanctions and looking at what happens without. I hope they all budget themselves on expecting Rangers filling their away stands only to see ball boys at that end of the ground when we play. Id still have filled out the SFL application form if it was me.

Am I missing something here? Is Green anti-Rangers and on the look out to ruin the club or something?? If not then this is self destruction! First we're up against the rest of Scottish football and now the levels of internal fall out is staggering! Blackmailing Green to sell on the cheap with season ticket sales and sponsors pulling out is shocking! Id expect the SFA, SPL and other clubs to pull this sort of thing out but not people who want wants best for Rangers. I want Walter to head the club with big backing he has set up but give Green a good deal so he can walk away with a few quid profit and lets move on!!

I hope Green has met a few fans in the street that share the same sentiments as Gav's opening post so he realises there are a large number who appreciate him. I jumped on thread the other day about the plot to rid McCoist but did state my opinions only stand if the story was true....but it was likely more media nonsense.

The SPL option would depend for me. If its a straight vote then they allow us back in then thats obviously where we want to be. But if they only vote us back in due to the TV money excuse then they can jog on and Id prefer the SFL. Being in Div 1 or 3 is possibility....Putting us in Div 1 gives the so called fans of other clubs the satisfaction of seeing Rangers relegated and not getting off but at same time probably only stops the income of TV and attendance for only 1 season. But Im inclined to start again in Div 3 and have the rebuilding process of a fresh start. We wont have European football if we stay in SPL so why not run up the leagues while we cant play European football. At the same time the SFL clubs like Alloa, East Stirling get a nice pay day and we can be seen as helping them out rather than lining the pockets of Dundee Utd, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen for 3 years.

Russia probably took the foot off the peddle a bit after winning 4-1 in the first match. I prefer to use goal difference first rather than head to heads but thats the rules and Greece from absolutely no where end up going through.
