Carroll getting plaudits but Kevin Nolan must be the most underrated player in the league at the moment. He is another like Steve Bruce that wont get england caps like he deserves. -
Steven Fletcher scoring 2 on his debut. Giving Levein a reminder.

Good job on this thread BTW Der Berliner. Now that the window is closed and we have the transfer ban, this is the group of players that are going to make history and start the return of the Gers climbing back to the summit. Pity Bocanegra didnt stay on but he could be back next season after his loan. Really hoping Kane Hemmings can get fit and show his potential. I wonder what we will be saying about these players in 10, 15, 20 years time. Despite not being the best players we ever had they could certainly earn legend status.

Agree....its so funny how obviously bad he is. Yet I dont like chelsea or Spurs so he can keep the joke up for as long as possible.

Levein should be banned from football for that.

Templeton having medical according to poster on RM

He'd certainly be the most promising signing over the summer. Although we're still lucky to land Black and Shiels. -

I reckon Alan Smith could have been in the passenger seat. -
Should be a number of ins and outs going on everywhere. With no Harry Redknapp then the fees will be dropped by around 100m or so. Villa just had bid for Dempsey accepted. Liverpool were in for him but are trying to get Sturridge on loan. Spurs will probably spend a fortune. Arsenal need another defensive midfielder / defender. Man Utd need a holding midfield. If I dont go out on the bevvy tonight then I'll just wake up as the window closes tomorrow and read whats official rather than reading "Robbie Fowler spotted at Ibrox" kinda rumours.

He knows he'll get found out in a tougher league. He seems to get away with poaching and doing nothing then fluffing a few chances. How the english media dont see this shows they arent interesting in reporting facts. -
Bits in Bold are spot on again from CG.

On a pay as you play basis he wouldnt cost a penny as he's never fit! Seems no Premier League team wants to touch him. Only Stoke and Everton have been mentioned. For me he is one of the most over rated players to play in the Premier League. Did nothing after he turned 23 or 24 yet has a glamourous CV. -
Updated with Everton and Rangers. Take a bow Bears!

I cant beleive that one Craig. Been hoping it didnt materialise at all. Although he will suit Allardyce' style and he may feel he has something to prove which is the only promising thing. He is good mates with Nolan so should fit in straight away. I did actually think Carroll was a good player at Newcastle, his work rate was excellent so he needs to get that back. But at Anfield and for England he fits into the same brackets as that Arsenal full back Jenkinson i.e. - why are they professionals! RE Liverpool, cant believe I forgot to include Downing in the list of Dalglish signings. He's possibly the biggest flop as Adam and Henderson were poor players anyway and Carrolls price tag ruined him.

Celtic will get battered in all their away games. If Munich can shake of their disapointment of last season they could win it this season, they've been drawn a good group. Man City have it all to do again this season.

Contradicts himself on a permanent basis. Hutton hasnt kicked a ball but gets in the squad (albeit probably rightly on ability), but its one policy for one player and another for others. Twat of a guy. Never been so not caring going into a world cup qualifying campaign in my life! Yet this group is the most winnable group we have had in a long long time. Levein should have been sacked after the hiding by the USA to allow a proper coach to get us through.
