  1. Before the game is a nonsense. Just let the players run out wave to the fans and stay in their own half. End of the match shake of hands.
  2. Glad internationals is over and we get back to the real stuff. Big weekend in the Premier League, the table should start to stake shape in the next couple of games. Tips for the weekend: Arsenal v Southampton - Home Win Aston Villa v Swansea - Draw Fulham v West brom - Home win Man Utd v Wigan - Home Win Norwich v West Ham - Away Win QPR v Chelsea - Draw Stoke v Man City - Draw Sunderland v Liverpool - Home win Sunday Reading v Tottenham - Home win Monday Everton v Newcastle - Home win
  3. Ive got one saying meet Chinese Ladys
  4. I listed Redknapp in my first post. He'd get the team attacking and probably would have won both games this week. If he got us to Brazil then it might inspire the younger generation to get back into playing football and put down the Wii for a while. Its the SFAs responsibility for structuring the development. The national team manager just has to go get us to win games.
  5. There was a thread in Rangers chat, but Im with you he is far too outspoken and a bit narrow minded. I always thought he was a good referee in the Premiership though.
  6. Just dawned on me that all 4 of them played for Hearts. I think Templeton will be the best signing of the lot though.
  7. This just shows they lie and sell their own version when it suits them. Well done the Hillsborough families for not giving up after 23 years to get the truth. I hope the families of 9/11 victims take note and follow on by keep demanding a real investigation.
  8. McCulloch has been scoring while upfront so should start a rolling 12 month contract. Id say we def need a big character like McCulloch in the dressing room while we embark on this journey. Alexander is a no brainer, has to be signed up.
  9. Screw the SPL. We could make the SFL the bigger league given time. As said before half the Div 1 clubs are on par with SPL sides. The more glamour SPL fixtures other than the OF are against Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen and Dundee Utd. But I have no problem avoiding playing those 4 again, the hatred they bring is rotten anyway. The SFL should start rejecting relegated SPL clubs and let those 12 float adrift.
  10. Anyone of these would bring a much bigger improvement. Steve Clarke Graeme Souness Gordon Strachan Walter Smith Gary McAllister (as a No.2) Stuart McCall Paul Lambert Joe Jordan Kenny Dalglish George Graham For the last 12 months Ive barely recognised players in the squad but after seeing the squads for the last 2 matches and knowing Commons, Brown, Black, Wallace, D Fletcher and S Fletcher could be added to it then I actually think its a pretty good young squad and someone with decent tactical knowledge would have won both games.
  11. Ridiculous. He is coming away with silly excuses like we are only 2 points off the top. But he forgets we've still to play these teams away plus the 2 best teams Croatia and Belgium at home. What a waste of a campaign already. Easiest group we've had in maybe 20 years and this imposter blows it.
  12. Final straw. He's lost it!
  13. There is a first for everything....Andy Walker talking sense. If we dont win tonight then he has to go. We've wasted time already in the last year with him being in charge.
  14. Charles Green is awesome!!! Love this no nonsense approach to the SPL and making them look stupid. It is so refreshing. No messing with the Yorkshireman!!
  15. Levein was untried and untested at International level as a manager but he got his chance. He was also in the same boat as a player once upon a time. I dont buy the untried and untested bit, especially when a player is in form and full of confidence. Plus in this day in age club football can be of higher standard than SOME internationals. Ive always been a fan of Miller but he's 32 now and cant run all day on his own....i hope he starts both Miller and Rhodes on Tuesday.
  16. What an arrogant dick. Walcott, Rooney, Ox-Chamberlain and even back to Michael Owen in 1998, all young promising players thrown in when they are playing well. Rhodes has been banging them in and should start on Tuesday.
  17. Looking back at the choices Stuart McCall is a name Ive missed out. Done a fine job at Motherwell.
  18. Yet if Levein could put his personal issues to one side we could have had a 14m striker playing in Fletcher (not that he is worth that mind). Id actually rather have McLeish in charge than Levein. Just as long as he didnt bring that bald bloke Watson with him. Like McCoist with Rangers McLeish always needed a better No.2
  19. Ferguson 1999-2002 was better than peak Hemdani. (but then again look at the players he was playing with: Albertz, Gio, Reyna, Tugay, De Boer, McCann, Arteta) During 2005 - 2008 Hemdani was better than Ferguson. Its all about opinions.
  20. That made me burst out laughing. A change should be made now because its still early in the group and recoverable. We're never going to get Sir Alex or Moyes but any of the below with Gary McAllister as an assistant would be huge improvement. Strachan Walter Joe Jordan George Graham Billy Davies Paul Lambert Or go down south: Kevin Keegan Terry Veneables Harry Redknapp Id also look abroad again. Verti McVogts was a disaster but thats probably more to do with working with the SFA. He won Euro 96 with the Germans so cant be too bad.
  21. But your boss said we could win all 10 games. Get on the same page!!! Jokers!
  22. Im going to go for 0-0 again.
  23. Should have bet a bit heavier though. Always knew breaking down that Serbian defence was going to be tricky.
  24. Something we knew a long time ago but after saying he can win all 10 qualifying games he made daft changes in the game v Serbia.....its time the SFA grew a set of balls and got rid of this imposter. If Scotland have any chance of going to Brazil in a winnable group get rid of this dick now.
  25. Indeed!!! And my bet!
