Is that balloon Delahunt still on the go? He used to ruin my Sunday lunch, I had forgot he existed until I seen this post...cheers Ian :box: How patronising is he trying to be! Another bitter man.

Jeez, Kyle looks Boyd look like a 100m sprinter! Speaking of which, where is Boyd at the moment? I think we'll see a number of former SPL players who are out of a club actually fancing the chance to play for Rangers. The likes of Dean Shiels should ease Div 3. We can be done with as much players offering there services as we can get. Really not sure about Kyle though unless he gets on the Kelloggs 2 week diet.....or it is Ramadan at the moment perhaps he could participate with that.

Super Ally...... The first paragraph concerns me though, do we have players registered? It really woudlnt surprise me if we went to Brechin won the game then got kicked out that cup for fielding illegible players. Cracking statement from Ally, thats probably about as clean as he could keep it. He's gone beyond legend status for what he has done. But the only way is up and forward from now that we're back playing football. I used to be one for revenge but now believe more so in not dropping to ones level, karma will take care of it. But those wankers at the SPL and SFA are going to have one tough ride. As I posted about 2 weeks ago when the focus was on Regan, that Doncaster was as damaging IMO.....he just looks corrupt to the core. Im seeing all the message of laughter on facebook etc from others but I dont think it will be too long before we get a sly smile or two.

Giggs is by far the better example for a footballer IMO.

They should have had better communications with their representatives at SFL and SFA to ask them they need notice to arrange a game, it would save everyone involved cost and time. I dont think Id be going to mass expense decorating a party if Madonna said she was going to my house yet she wasnt allowed to buy air tickets. Where is the common sense. They should have looked at postponing the match.

Another golden oldie offers to help out Rangers-windass
Gribz replied to Steve1872's topic in Rangers Chat
At least 4 or 5 experienced players are going to be needed in the squad all with the desire and hunger to get Rangers back up. Already having McCoist and McCulloch around is a good start. A Davie Weir would have been good. As for retired players it all depends what condition they are in. Looking at the Milan match the likes of Numan, Mols, Albertz and De Boer did all look in good shape but playing competitive football for a season is a different game. They were up against a relaxed Milan side. As for Windass, he was a top shelf dick when he was at Aberdeen, I remember getting my haircut and he walked in and told the hairdresser to stop me and start on him instantly and he wasnt joking. -
Brechin shouldnt have went ahead and arranged everything at their cost when no license is in place, they will be well out of pocket and I hope they get every penny plus compensation back if the game doesnt go ahead.
-
Yesterday I was actually going to post 'can we get a temporary license' purely for a laugh and the SFA are actually considering this! Seems there is no level above these jokers who can step in, any government puppet must be enjoying the drama.

Former Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor passes Besiktas medical
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I honestly thought McGregor was capable of going to a top 8 EPL team. I wonder if those managers down south are looking at Craig Gordons 9m move to Sunderland and seeing how it turned out and thinking McGregor would be the same. Gordon was unlucky with injuries and probably chose the wrong club in Sunderland when Villa wanted him, but McGregor would have done well. -
Would like to see team GB do well for Ryan Giggs who deserves a international allocade. But when I think of Stuart Pearce Id like to see them get stuffed. So all in all I dont really mind.

The SPL only have themselves to blame if that happens. Rangers carried Scotlands position for years until Celtic finally did assist for a couple of seasons. Then all these clubs shoot themselves in the foot. This is the first summer Im not dissapointed with another Scottish club going out. The game has to hit rock bottom before massive changes are forced and we arent far away from that....San Marino, Andorra and Liechtenstein says it all.

We should call his bluff

SPL and SFL on brink of agreeing £1.2m Rangers telly deal with Sky
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
What has the SPL got to do with screening Rangers games. Someone with a set of balls needs to tell them where to go for any TV deal. We will be playing SFL football so they should be the ones getting the deal with Sky. Its time we negotitated a bit stronger, any TV deal that involves Rangers has to include Rangers else we could simply not show up. If they want the TV deal then give us our license and piss off with any further sanctions. -
This is a false flag event! TBH I think its a disgrace.
-
If he had been retired 2-3 seasons then its a non starter but if a guy who has only stopped playing at a high level for 12 months is willing to come and play for free then its a no brainer, we take him. He could easily sit in the middle of the park and dicate play for an hour or so. The team that we need this season has to include good experience like McCulloch or a Savage type player to assist the youngsters on. I would suggest Savage is a bit tongue in cheek with this comments but if anything came of it he probably would still play. Its certainly not as far fetched as getting Albertz and Mols out of retirement.

Anyone go to any Premiership games?
Gribz replied to Daniel Amokachi's topic in General Football Chat
Its like having 2 parents. Plus some people are Football fans in general and dont support one team and just like multiple teams. I can understand that as I certainly watch most EPL games every week and like to watch Arsenal play, fantastic entertainment. I lived in England as a kid and my Dad took me to West Ham every week. By then I had already been to a few Rangers games so supported them and when I returned to Scotland I went back to Ibrox. So I had been brought up watching 2 teams hence them both. -
Shame for Stuart McCall, one of footballs good guys yet I think he will get pumped from Panathinikos. Really cant see Naismith making a big impact at Everton. Out of his depth there.
-
There it is! I knew he was a veteren. The big man deserves a song of his own this season.....Who's the python, who's the python, who's the python in the pants....
-
Football chat springs to mind. Cant be naive to think posting anything about Celtic isnt a allowed on a forum. If it was Ajax 0-4 Mhanks then Id be chopping Ians fingers off myself

Is Big Jig only 32? I thought he was older than me.

Ive stayed at the Chelsea hotel, its the copthorne millenium. But you have to book well in advance for stayung there if Chelsea are at home. They were playing Liverpool away when I stayed yet it was still busy. Chelsea have about 35000 season tickets so only a few thousand available on match day. But best to buy via website, against teams like Wigan you will be able to get no probs. Not sure why you would want to waste your money watching John Terry and Fat Frank. West Ham are my team and we're back up this season. -
Tenner on Hearts to win the SPL now. They are absolute shite. All it takes is 1 half decent side and they get shown up. Pete are Ajax any good at the moment?
-
We have our first fixture in 6 days time! Seems the SPL is trying to blackmail things and in bed with the SFA. They have already seen the financial consequences of losing Rangers in the SPL, it will get double worse if they keep pissing about and dont allow us SFL membership. Stand firm - No more sanctions. Some lawyers must be begging for this case to be brought to them! The SFA, SPL and making things up as they go along. If it means we dont play football then lets apply for another league. Whether it be NI, England or even a Scandanavian league. Rangers are a massive following and we have the power. Time for another drink!

Super Ally really is Super Ally! Would hate to think the mess we'd be in if we had a yes man in charge. Whilst I like what Green is doing Ally certainly is still keeping the old Rangers going.
