Who would be next up at Brighton? They have a great set up and are very well ran with a cracking scouting system - Potter has left them in great shape. They have taken 80m from Chelsea this summer for a left back and a manager that cost them next to nothing.

I think Chelsea is the perfect job for Pochettino and Poch the perfect manager for Chelsea. Its great timing, he is on a free and I think he would be suited to a top 6 club. I really hope Potter stays at Brighton, his stock is going up by the week and Chelsea is a pack of cards at the moment and he could undo all the good work he has done. At the moment he is probably a cert for the next England manager unless Howe keeps progressing. Havent read the full thread yet to get an idea of the overall opinion but I would say Gersnet over the years has always been more reserved and not so much knee jerk reactions. Gio seems a bit of a tactical genius in the Europa league but there is a pattern being created domestically of not changing it. On Saturday after 15 minutes I was screaming he needs to make at least one sub else it would be 3-0 by half time but he tried to ride the storm hoping we would come in the game. Its been seen many a time by the likes of Mourinho that he doesnt care how many minutes have gone in a game, if a change is needed then do it for tactical reasons at a minimum. I disagree. At the time of 3 of the goals I said that McGregor would have probably gotten to two of them and wouldnt have made the third error. McGregor's shot stopping was still phenomenal for large parts of last season and I thought if he is fit he should still start unless we purchased a new keeper. I just havent fancied McLaughin since day one. As such dropping a keeper can have bigger impacts on confidence compared to outfield players but it can also take him out of the firing line if done properly. McGregor has always been a big game player and I think Ajax will be having a lot of action around our goal therefore I'd be much more confident starting McGregor. Id would be interesting to know what goalies are free agents at the moment.
