I like a few of the new functions, the Auto-save is a great addition (should be a cracker for Calscots novels ) Still not got a skin that I can get used to, did like the previous blue.

We would be mad to spend 10 million to get us up through Div 2 and 1 or SPL2. We could probably spend around 2 million in bringing in 2-4 players who are good enough for this and save the rest for when we are back in the top flight. Unless we are getting quality players that would be good enough to challenge for the SPL then whats the point in signing players on long contracts now when we would need to get stronger when getting back to the top flight and then Europe. The players we have now should be more than good enough to get us up the leagues, although a few additions to make the squad bigger is needed but spending 10m for Div 2 would be nuts. Also, Ally is getting results now but the jury is still out whether he is the long term man for the job and therefore would I be handing him 10m? not so sure about that unless there is another 10m available further down the road.

SFA tell Dundee United they canâ??t do anything about Rangers cup boycott

This was a no brainer from all angles. How can you force people to buy tickets anyway!! -
Been looking for a watch like Cal describes, will see if I can pick one up in UK next week.

No chance now. If we had had a pre season then we might have had a chance but we were always going to have a blip or 2. Kuznetzov may say if we had a better gaffer we would have. Id say Div 3 is a better standard now than when Gretna was in it. Teams are also going to raise their game for having their biggest game in history against us unlike Gretna.

Yeah yeah...one post at a time, I read Barrys first reply to me then coming back for the second.

I liked that one. I remember it was due out on Aug 1st 1997 but me and my mate were heading to France on July 31st. We stopped by London and had a wander and went into a football shop near Leicester square who had just had a load of boxes delivered so we asked if the Gers away top was there....which it was to go on the shelfs next day. After a bit of begging we managed to convince the supervisor to sell us a couple and we had it for our hols. My fave away / 3rd in the 90s was the Purple 3rd kit in 94/95 though, that was the muts nuts. The orange away in 93/94 was quality also.

I should be a manager! Although seems Podolski played left centre with Walcott through the middle. Good reply from Arsenal though, bit edgy at 4-2 but hopefully its a turning point. They should still get 12 points in their next 4 games.

Awful shame as he is young. Former footballer Charlie Adam dies suddenlyThe former footballer Charlie Adam has died suddenly. He was 50 years old. Tayside Police said they were called to Grampian Gardens in Dundee at about 18:30 on Monday following the death. There were no suspicious circumstances but a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. As a midfielder, Mr Adam played with clubs including Dundee United and Partick Thistle. His son Charlie is a Scotland international and plays for Stoke City. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-20765579

Your probably right. I looked at the fixture list about a month or so ago and they had Fulham, Spurs, Villa, Everton and Swansea before this 5 coming up. I thought a good Arsenal side and a team who wants to compete would have taken at least 10pts from that 5 games but only took 6pts. The fixtures will only get tougher after the Southampton game on 4th January. I think he should go back to playing 4-4-1-1 which served him so well in his first 7 years. Carzola playing behind Podolski upfront with Walcott and the Ox on the wings with Arteta and Wilshire in the middle. They need a bit of a clear out and bring in some quality. Sell off the likes of Squillaci, Santos, Arshavin, Chamakh and Rosicky (good player but injury prone). Go out and spend to bring in Pepe Reina, Lescott, Baines and Felliani.

Yup! I had to read it about 4 times before making out what was being said. A full stop in between 2 sentences wouldnt have went a miss.

Is that the rearranged game? Who were we due to be playing this Sat if it is the rearranged game?
-
They play 2 games before anyone else kicks a ball. If they win those (Reading and Wigan) they are 3rd albeit played more games, so all isnt as bad as it seems. After that they have West Ham, Newcastle both at home then Southampton away. Maximum points should be the target as all games are more than winnable. If they lose tonight then I think it would be his last game.

Aluko is the only one id give you out of them. Burke used to trip over his over feet. Beasley got blown over by the wind and Wylde was just beginning to come onto a game when he got dropped. Weiss was inconsistant but when he was good he was very good.

Bang on!. Thats just saying - You are NOT welcome.

But if his loan agreement is one season surely the Italian club have to cover his wage? I liked Goian last season but as said previously he started this season slowly and was out of place, yet so was the whole squad after not having a pre season. But lets bring him back, get him fit then its another name to an already thin squad that has to get though another 10 months before we can sign players.

Steven Naismith: Leaving Rangers hardest part of my career
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Yes that or donate a portion of his signing on fee at Everton back to the club. Cant imagine he'd be on anything less than 25k / week at Goodison after a decent signing on fee. -

She is silly to react to it. Anyone could be at the wind up plus there is always idiots with access to these social networks. If she ignores it then nothing happens. -
Steven Naismith: Leaving Rangers hardest part of my career

Even though thats a strong post Im inclined to agree. Yet not sure about the not forgiving part. I could probably forgive people as I dont like holding animosity but doesnt mean to say they will ever be welcome back to the club. Plus with Hindsight they are missing out on a tremendous journey and story that will go down in history. The longer we move forward and stronger we get I feel more ex players like this are going to regret. They will have to accept they jumped ship and left us in the lurch of starting a season with a bare squad when they could have helped us get a transfer fee to assist in buying players. As Davie has mentioned, its not the career advancement that has bothered fans. Charles Green always said he wouldnt stand in the way of players moving on once they transferred their contracts over. How good will it feel for the likes of McCulloch when we eventually get back to the top and lift silverware, that will be the ultimate satisfaction for a player, working their way from bottom to top. Its at that moment ex players may think "I wish I was part of that".....And of course when the Champions League theme is blasting through at Ibrox again the people who can feel proudness are the players and staff who have contributed to this journey and of course the fantastic supporters who are doing the club and themselves proud.
