Ive been an advocate for a 18 team league for years. Money and TV just puts lumps into that and possibly greed. For me 3 leagues and a pyramid system - to be fair is up and running now. Out of interest - what would you have?

Scrap the split ?

Any organization that cant get things like this right is a farce. Its been going on for years. 3 away trips to one team!! Why cant they just honour what is supposed to happen and make it 2 homes and 2 aways. If that means 4 homes and 1 away in the split then so be it - it evens everything over a season. There is no advantage.

Defo needs the time to get himself match fit. Bizarre why Paterson wasnt called up though, he is easily the best option at RB yet 3 LBs are selected.

Leicester and Southampton must be delighted with the draw against each other. Man City v Chelsea Leicester v Southampton I would have a guess at a Man City v Leicester final. The Champions league may have an impact on Man City and Chelsea game.

Hmmm. I usually like your posts but have to call you out on this one. You have to remember the last 10 years and this is a new side being grown with a project. Yep, I agree with that and its has massively diluted the UEFA (Europa). I say bring back the Cup Winners Cup also. Same here Ian, never been. The only time I went to Celtic away was 94-95 season when they played at Hampden for a season when Laudrup and Hateley ripped them apart. I just dont see us losing the game today. The nerves do kick in as usual but its good nerves. I was leaning towards a 1-1 due with having a game Thursday but I think the troops will be gathered and their defence is so poor there is no reason why we cant win and Im going with Morelos to win it.

Agree with that plus I didnt think there was need to put Hagi on the bench especially for Arfield who isn't fully match fit. But Stevie G is allowed a free pass for what he has done this season. Slavia are a decent team, you dont get to the last 8 of this competition they way they have if you aren't good.
