Again this shouldnt even make a debate. He could do 25 forward rolls before he comes on the pitch if he puts the ball in the net.

Nottingham Forest name Alex McLeish as new manager
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
Something a bit fishy about this, seems it was a done deal before O driscol had been sacked, which I dont like to see. McLeish seems to get a feel good factor early and that will help Forest in the coming games but once that wears off they will remain as they are around 10th. -
That would be great to see a big crowd of 35000. With the north stand being refurbished I wondered if we'd only get our traditional west stand, but I guess we'll be behind both goals plus most of the main stand.

Muchas Gracias! Thats a nice one.

What is the Rangers allocation for this match?

David Templeton: If I help put Gers back on top Iâ??ll be an Ibrox legend
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
By far the best of our signings, and if he stays injury free we will have a quality player for the next 5 years who will probably earn legendary status in his own way for being part of this journey. Probably our best winger since Neil McCann -
Would we actually need him? Its a no thanks for me, he's a bit of a poor mans Kyle Lafferty,

Villa are rank and could be relegated. 4-0 at home to Spurs is a humping.

I predict a riot - Green blasts United ticket sales plan
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Desperate from Utd. I used to buy Rangers end tickets from Pittodrie direct through a contact but a) he knew I was a Gers fan and b) there was no boycott so it was fine although I did get a few ugly looks in the ticket office getting the blue border tickets. But this is different and any rangers fan entering the group (unless corporate) should obtain a ticket through the club which have refused. -
I wouldnt be surprised to see Dortmund go on and win the tournament.

Nothing to do with affordablilty, I myself would pay, its more the principal and recognising brilliant customer service for me. CG knows he is going to get the same amount of ST next season, he has continually stated how good the fans are and how much he made therefore a slight increase of 5-10% would be a good gesture rather than 25%. Let the hike in prices be for top flight football.

I think Arsenal have a chance. They can win at the Emirates in the first leg then get a draw in Munich. I also think Man Utd could go through. Im not if its better having the first leg at home or away, seems the group winners play away first therefore thats supposed to be a slight advantage but Id have it the other way around.

Good read but the only thing I'd be slightly disappointed in is a large hike in season tickets if its the current format div 2. The fans have been amazingly loyal and deserve rewarding with maybe only a slight increase, because at the end of the day its still the 3rd tier of Scottish football. Plus the fans have shown how loyal they are with the lowest league attendance being 42000 for a midweek Dec game just before christmas, every other home game we've been in the top 5 attendances in Britain so ST holders deserve something back.

I dont think so. The reasonable fan will realise where we are and that we dont need 10m to spend at the moment. Its like we are currently a Ferrari in a race against a few Ford Fiestas and we go out and buy a Better Ferrari to win in a quicker time when all we need to do is improve our current Ferrari with a tweak or 2.

Some belters. Real M v Man Utd - Ronaldo going back to OT and Ferguson v Mourinho. Arsenal v Bayern, and Milan v Barca. Celtic should get pumped.

The orange one seems a better today as its got sharper lines with more darkness on the page. The other one was hurting my eyes.

I like a few of the new functions, the Auto-save is a great addition (should be a cracker for Calscots novels ) Still not got a skin that I can get used to, did like the previous blue.

We would be mad to spend 10 million to get us up through Div 2 and 1 or SPL2. We could probably spend around 2 million in bringing in 2-4 players who are good enough for this and save the rest for when we are back in the top flight. Unless we are getting quality players that would be good enough to challenge for the SPL then whats the point in signing players on long contracts now when we would need to get stronger when getting back to the top flight and then Europe. The players we have now should be more than good enough to get us up the leagues, although a few additions to make the squad bigger is needed but spending 10m for Div 2 would be nuts. Also, Ally is getting results now but the jury is still out whether he is the long term man for the job and therefore would I be handing him 10m? not so sure about that unless there is another 10m available further down the road.

SFA tell Dundee United they canâ??t do anything about Rangers cup boycott
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
This was a no brainer from all angles. How can you force people to buy tickets anyway!! -
Been looking for a watch like Cal describes, will see if I can pick one up in UK next week.

No chance now. If we had had a pre season then we might have had a chance but we were always going to have a blip or 2. Kuznetzov may say if we had a better gaffer we would have. Id say Div 3 is a better standard now than when Gretna was in it. Teams are also going to raise their game for having their biggest game in history against us unlike Gretna.

Yeah yeah...one post at a time, I read Barrys first reply to me then coming back for the second.

I liked that one. I remember it was due out on Aug 1st 1997 but me and my mate were heading to France on July 31st. We stopped by London and had a wander and went into a football shop near Leicester square who had just had a load of boxes delivered so we asked if the Gers away top was there....which it was to go on the shelfs next day. After a bit of begging we managed to convince the supervisor to sell us a couple and we had it for our hols. My fave away / 3rd in the 90s was the Purple 3rd kit in 94/95 though, that was the muts nuts. The orange away in 93/94 was quality also.

I should be a manager! Although seems Podolski played left centre with Walcott through the middle. Good reply from Arsenal though, bit edgy at 4-2 but hopefully its a turning point. They should still get 12 points in their next 4 games.
