Agree with Kuz on this, I couldnt name a Utd player right now. Plus there manager has to leave at the end of the season as he rejected a pay cut. This season in the SPL offered an ambitious club to give Celtic ago and its lowly Inverness who have been the most challenging followed by Motherwell. The so called three 3rd biggest sides in Scotland have been rank (Utd, Aberdeen and Hearts).

Talks over new SPL sponsor stall amid uncertainty over league reconstruction
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Shambolic.....the end of the season is 4 months away and they dont know what structure they will be playing in 2 months after with no sponsors. The SPL may not even exist in August with that Joker Doncaster. How he is still in the country (never mind a job) is beyond me. He has destroyed the game. A former MP (McLeish) comes in spends a year of tax payers money doing a report at the same time asking the tax payer what they want and it gets put in a drawer somewhere and ignored. -
Rangers have route into English football by suing FA
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Make enemies before friends? It wouldnt be a good start to life in England to sue the FA. In an ideal world we'd have a 20 team SPL and 22 team Div 1 with regional league below, there would be no need for the talk of going to England. But as things stand it is far from ideal, the vile, hatred, treatment and unprofessionalism from SPL and its member teams plus SFA means we should be looking for the opportunity. -
I probably agree RE Leeds, considering they were in the CL semi's a few years prior to going down but with the debt levels they were running up at the time it was either make or break. But I also remember Leeds being a old Div 2 side in the late 80s when I was going to see West Ham. That was just prior to them going up to Div 1 and winning it. They had an unreal squad around 2000-2002. And with their fan base they are 'the' sleeping giant of English football IMO. Warnock was a good short term idea with his record of getting out of the Championship but they should be far more ambitious. Villa have been a potential top 6 side until O Neill left and were also good for a cup run. Lamberts signings have been poor except Benteke.

I didnt suggest it was a piece of cake but certainly seems easier than putting another tier on the Govan which may make the ground look uneven. And I dont know about the screens supporting walls, pretty sure they were supported before the screens were even put in well enough. There was plans back in the 90s or 00s with the corners filled and capacity was around 57000. Thats the same as having another club deck or almost another Broomloan / Copland stand. There is nothing wrong with exploring these avenues at all so long as it doesnt ever put the club near the debt levels again. I want to see the current owners have a plan in place for the long term future just the same as we should be aiming for something long term on the pitch. As a few people have said we should be grabbing this opportunity by the horns and setting the club up for the next 140 years.

Agreed. That (in bold) was impressive.

How bad are they! Out of another cup to a team in a lower league, Millwall this time in the FA cup. I just cant see how they can stay in the Premier League with this team, it lacks quality all over. Teams around them are picking up points. Newcastle are next up but they have signed 5 players this month. Leeds, Newcastle, West Ham all big teams who have went out of the Premier League but Villa would be the biggest shock. They are one of 7 who have been in the PL since it started.

You might as well get right to the point....sleepless night was it? But you are right, he'd set the club back 30 years.
-
No thanks. What would 'My Baw' be like if he didnt get to pick the team. We lack experienced good coaches as it is. If we want any former midfielders coming in as coach then Ray Wilkins is the man.

Replacing the big screens with seats should be the first thing, if we need the screens then put them at the corners where the club deck stairs are. We then have added capacity by retaining screens. But for me Id have seats around all 4 corners then we'd have near on 60000 without any major refurbishment at all. Not sure how fans would get to the club deck though, but who cares, I had enough of climbing those fecking stairs for 3 years! On the renaming front it has to be something that appeals to fans. I still think someone at the club should at least approx Apple to see if they would be interested.....I-brox is a win win for everyone.

Dundee United fans plan Craig Whyte mask stunt at Rangers match
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Can the Rangers fans that are going get some Charles Green ones made up? But this just helps our team talk. Its not exactly a big deal but they wouldnt do it if there was no Rangers fans in the ground and again thats the more disappointing thing that 100 or so fans need to go to this game and fund these clowns. I can just see this now: its 5 years down the road a similar thing will happen, Rangers fans will mask someone of Utd and we'll get punished. Dundee Utd have fast became my most disliked team. Any kind of result would be so sweet against them....previously I didnt fancy a draw and allowing them back to Ibrox but if it means we knock them out then so be it. -
Well done the Swans. Delighted for them and Laudrup and delighted Chelsea wont be back at Wembley (in this cup at least). Hope they go on a win it now, its good to see a 2nd div side in the final and they will get a good day out but I hope Swansea win it. Laudrup must be in contention for manager of the year.

Havent seen this but obviously its the hot debate. Sounds like both were in the wrong but a kick doesnt still isnt merited regardless if he was just trying to get the ball out.

I saw an advert for this insantity and wondered about it. I tend to go HIIT with skipping so gave it a try with longer skips and shorter intervals, found i could only last a quarter of the overall time I usual do the opposite for. In theory its a nice idea but unless you are a machine its practically impossible

Wouldnt be surprised as he has just got a pay off from Norwich. But who would take that job. That Villa v Newcastle game should be cracking, I'll be getting up at 3am to watch it. I can see Villa going down unless they sign 2-3 quality players in this window, their defence and midfield is awful.

Jamie Ness came out the traps flying and hit a wonder goal against Celtic. Silly lad jumped ship and doesnt seem to play the game anymore. Id agree with Barry Ferguson, in 1998/99/00 he was quality but was playing in a amazing midfield with Albertz, Gio, Reyna, Tugay, Kanchelskis and McCann. A similar thread could be started about players who started slowly but then came good. McCoist being the most obvious! But lately Alan Hutton and Alan McGregor were by far the most improved players Ive ever seen at Rangers.

Bradford hold on and win 4-3 on aggregate. Happy for them, a massive trip / day out and a huge pay day. Villa are awful on the eye this season and would have ruined the final anyway. Lambert must have been wondering why he left Norwich. Villa are a big club on paper but Lerner is stripping them down to the bare bones. Hope Swansea can hold on tonight also and go on to win the cup.

I use WHEY protein and mix it with milk, it tastes great although a bit dry afterwards. It certainly will help faster recovery plus can also be quite filling....one thing after a work out is the hunger kicks in and protein shake can be quite filling.

If he doesnt sign decent players this month then I agree. Snieder to Galatarsary for 8m...would have been the perfect fit. He should also have got Lescott. Man City owe Arsenal for the Nasri and Clichy signings. Plus the rumours about Nani, not sure about that one, but Malouda is screaming out for a new team and would be perfect on the wing. Playing Coquelin in the centre yesterday while moving Cazorla left was shocking. He doesnt seem to have an eye for a player anymore. Diame at West Ham would have been an Arsenal player 10 years ago, but now players like that need to come to England with a WH etc first before Wenger seems them. He also needs to get back to 4-4-2 and drop this 4-2-3-1 as the players dont fit in to it unlike Chelsea who have a perfect balance of Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Oscar and Hazard.

How many times have Man Utd rescued a game in injury time, it was their turn yesterday. Cuts the gap to 5 points but Man Utd have the kinder fixtures coming up.
-
Chelsea v Arsenal Tottenham v Man Utd Snow started chucking it down in London, 1st game still on while 2nd games being monitored. Would be criminal if a Premier League game got called off unless its blizzards, get the old orange ball out. Fancy 2 draws today.
-
Are you kidding, have you seen McCulloch in midfield? And Edu didnt show up on many occasion.
-
Im out of reckoning this season as I havent seen a match since the 2nd game of the season and have no idea on our best team or formation (mind you neither does McCoist ) else Id be involved. I do hope to take in todays game which might give me a better idea, but as it stands Im struggling to match names with faces on a few of our players which is frustrating.

Hearts are a feeder club....let him get form for 12 months there then we can pick him up
