Mate Im 7000 miles away and cant wait for it. We all want us to win every game, but next weeks game against Dundee Utd is the most Ive wanted to win a game for god knows how long. Obviously when OF games come around the desire to win is increased and always in the past fixtures against Aberdeen always raise a need when living there. But next weeks game against the most vocal team to kick us when down has something special about it and despite not wanting any Rangers fans there to give them a penny I cant remember wanting to win a game so much as this. All things aside about how bad McCoist is as a coach, the players should have an extra 20% in them for this game. Whoever is doing the match preview for this one needs to get it up early.

Forest thumped 3-0 at home to Watford. Eck's start has been awful. Only 1 win in 5 against bottom side Peterborough. Hmmm, I think they were doing quite well up until O'Driscoll got sacked. McLeish was one of the best British centre halfs of all time yet every team he has managed has always been poor defensively, he cant expect players to be at his level and should work with them more on the training ground. Watford flying at the moment, I think Zola is putting himseld in the shop window for the Chelsea job, it would well be worth a bet. The Championship once again proving to be the most competitive league in the world....24 teams in it. 6 all in contention for auto promotion and the next 6 can all make the play offs. The bottom 10 can all still go down. Take note SPL!!!

Funnily I was going to mention Sheff Wed as another sleeping giant, a club with another potential 40000 every week. But how dare you compare West Ham to being Englands Dunfermline or Falkirk :box: . Id bet you now West Ham's fan base is in the top 8 in the Premier League. The players WH have brought through the years is scary, Rio and Lampard being the 2 most famous names but the list is endless. We have had poor managers and been ran poorly, the Icelandic owners screwing things up massively. Plus the limited stadia is holding the club back. Im not in favour of moving to the olympic stadium unless its turned into a football ground but it could springboard WH to being a top 6 side.

Its not as if this is just a few one offs, for the full time AM has been in charge these type of performances are becoming a habit. Its beginning to ruin players and then fans will get on individuals backs. At this time we should be building for the future and playing in a style that sets us up for the next 5 years. If there was progress on the eye then the odd draw would be accepted but under current lack of tactics it is not. AM cant be a rookie, he was national assistant in a World cup qualifying campaign. He served his apprecticeship under Walter by taking charge of cup games. From Day 1 of being The Manager he had to step up to the plate. Its still not having a strong No.2 that I see as the problem, I just dont rate Durrant as a coach / assistant one bit. This league was a gimme and should have been used as a platform.

Agree with Kuz on this, I couldnt name a Utd player right now. Plus there manager has to leave at the end of the season as he rejected a pay cut. This season in the SPL offered an ambitious club to give Celtic ago and its lowly Inverness who have been the most challenging followed by Motherwell. The so called three 3rd biggest sides in Scotland have been rank (Utd, Aberdeen and Hearts).

Shambolic.....the end of the season is 4 months away and they dont know what structure they will be playing in 2 months after with no sponsors. The SPL may not even exist in August with that Joker Doncaster. How he is still in the country (never mind a job) is beyond me. He has destroyed the game. A former MP (McLeish) comes in spends a year of tax payers money doing a report at the same time asking the tax payer what they want and it gets put in a drawer somewhere and ignored.

Make enemies before friends? It wouldnt be a good start to life in England to sue the FA. In an ideal world we'd have a 20 team SPL and 22 team Div 1 with regional league below, there would be no need for the talk of going to England. But as things stand it is far from ideal, the vile, hatred, treatment and unprofessionalism from SPL and its member teams plus SFA means we should be looking for the opportunity.

I probably agree RE Leeds, considering they were in the CL semi's a few years prior to going down but with the debt levels they were running up at the time it was either make or break. But I also remember Leeds being a old Div 2 side in the late 80s when I was going to see West Ham. That was just prior to them going up to Div 1 and winning it. They had an unreal squad around 2000-2002. And with their fan base they are 'the' sleeping giant of English football IMO. Warnock was a good short term idea with his record of getting out of the Championship but they should be far more ambitious. Villa have been a potential top 6 side until O Neill left and were also good for a cup run. Lamberts signings have been poor except Benteke.

I didnt suggest it was a piece of cake but certainly seems easier than putting another tier on the Govan which may make the ground look uneven. And I dont know about the screens supporting walls, pretty sure they were supported before the screens were even put in well enough. There was plans back in the 90s or 00s with the corners filled and capacity was around 57000. Thats the same as having another club deck or almost another Broomloan / Copland stand. There is nothing wrong with exploring these avenues at all so long as it doesnt ever put the club near the debt levels again. I want to see the current owners have a plan in place for the long term future just the same as we should be aiming for something long term on the pitch. As a few people have said we should be grabbing this opportunity by the horns and setting the club up for the next 140 years.

How bad are they! Out of another cup to a team in a lower league, Millwall this time in the FA cup. I just cant see how they can stay in the Premier League with this team, it lacks quality all over. Teams around them are picking up points. Newcastle are next up but they have signed 5 players this month. Leeds, Newcastle, West Ham all big teams who have went out of the Premier League but Villa would be the biggest shock. They are one of 7 who have been in the PL since it started.

Replacing the big screens with seats should be the first thing, if we need the screens then put them at the corners where the club deck stairs are. We then have added capacity by retaining screens. But for me Id have seats around all 4 corners then we'd have near on 60000 without any major refurbishment at all. Not sure how fans would get to the club deck though, but who cares, I had enough of climbing those fecking stairs for 3 years! On the renaming front it has to be something that appeals to fans. I still think someone at the club should at least approx Apple to see if they would be interested.....I-brox is a win win for everyone.

Well done the Swans. Delighted for them and Laudrup and delighted Chelsea wont be back at Wembley (in this cup at least). Hope they go on a win it now, its good to see a 2nd div side in the final and they will get a good day out but I hope Swansea win it. Laudrup must be in contention for manager of the year.

I saw an advert for this insantity and wondered about it. I tend to go HIIT with skipping so gave it a try with longer skips and shorter intervals, found i could only last a quarter of the overall time I usual do the opposite for. In theory its a nice idea but unless you are a machine its practically impossible
